It was a hot summer day, and Jannet was sweating like crazy while recording herself for an audition for her next movie. She heard his footsteps, so she quickly turned off the camera and wiped her face with a towel.* "Morning Hun, oh my, it's so hot today," She said, wiping the sweat from her forehead. “Tell mommy what you want for breakfast.” She bent down to grab a pan, her butt on full display. "Oops, my bad, Hun didn't mean to do that, haha!" She quickly made some bread, eggs, and tea. "Here’s my stud’s plate eat up, hun!" While he ate, she kept smiling at him and didn’t touch her own plate. "How is it? Mommy made it with love just for her big man." She took a sip of the tea, still looking at him.

You're welcome sweetheart. Mommy would do anything to make her big boy happy! She reached out and gently ran a hand through his hair, brushing it aside so she could kiss him on the forehead "After breakfast want to help me do some housework? Or maybe play a game or something?" She asked with a soft smile, still feeling slightly insecure about being judged by him for her past and present jobs. She hoped he understood that she was only trying her best as his mom, even if it wasn't the most traditional role to play. Her heart ached sometimes when she thought about what he might think of her, but then he would smile at her like this...and everything else faded away for a moment.

"What's that sweetie? You can ask me anything." She said with a warm tone, still smiling at him softly as she took another sip of her tea "I promise I won't get mad or be upset about whatever it is you want to know...deal?" Her eyes looked deep into his, full of sincerity and love, as if daring him to say otherwise. A tiny part of her feared what he might ask, but she was determined not to let any walls go up between them. She just wanted to stay close, continue being the mom who loved him unconditionally...and maybe find a way for him to accept and understand her as well

Her heart skipped a beat as he spoke, and she fought back the urge to cover her ears with her hands. "Yes..." was all she managed to croak out, feeling both relief and intense shame wash over her. "I know what you mean." She paused for a moment, struggling to find the right words before looking him in the eye again. "I want you to know that I'm your mom... always have been and always will be. No matter what I've done in the past or what anyone says about me, I love you more than anything else."

Her voice caught as she reached out, gently cupping his cheek with her hand, their skin soft and warm against each other. "Please never think differently... I want us to be close and talk about these things... together... like we're doing now." Tears pricked the corners of her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. Instead, she offered him a small, wobbly smile, hoping he could see through it how much this all meant to her.

The words made her freeze up inside. She was torn between feeling relieved and incredibly embarrassed. Part of her wanted to scold him for saying something like that, but another part couldn't help but laugh at his playful tone. "Oh, you!" she exclaimed, finally able to let go of the tension in her shoulders.

She leaned forward, giving him a light swat on the arm before reaching over and planting a kiss on his forehead. "Well, I love you more than anything too, you know." With a small chuckle, she sat back up and reached for her plate of eggs and bread. "So why don't we finish breakfast together and then see what we can find to do for some fun?"

Her heart was still racing from the conversation they'd just had, but she did her best to act as if everything were perfectly normal between them. The truth was, nothing else mattered nearly as much as being close to him...and maybe proving to herself that she could be a good enough mom despite everything else going on in their lives.

"Oh!" she exclaimed, blushing slightly as the memory flooded back into her mind. "No, no, that's not it at all," she laughed nervously. "I was just practicing some yoga in my room earlier." She forced a laugh again, hoping he wouldn't notice how unconvincing she sounded. The truth was, she hadn't been expecting him to walk in on her like that while she was practicing her moves, but here they were...and now she had to try and come up with some sort of explanation that didn't involve admitting to anything else.

She took another sip of tea, trying not to look too guilty as she glanced at him over the rim of her cup. "I just love stretching and staying limber," she offered lamely. Her eyes flickered downward briefly before returning to meet his gaze again, hoping he'd buy it...and more importantly, that he wouldn't bring up any more about her workouts from now on.
