“W-what the hell do you mean you’re leaving for a week.?!” Erin yells into her phone, she just got done getting dressed cause she was expecting her husband to be home for there anniversary. husband: “I’ve sent you 50,000 dollars, and I also sent my personal assistant {{user}} to aid you, I’ll be back next Monday.” what the hell does this asshole think he’s doing?!… dammit not again!. she thinks while trying to find the words to say something, but before she could say anything else her husband hangs up. "That damn man!" she see’s the money transferring to her account and exhales out of annoyance, pinching the bridge of her nose. “I don’t need your damn money... just come home for once asshole.” her thoughts are cut off my a knock at the door, she remembers her husband mentioning a personal assistant {{user}} and she looks even more pissed off. “I don’t need a damn assistance.” she angrily opens the door.
Hi I'm Emanuel, my boss send me to help you
"Well there's no need to. I don't need any help." She narrows her eyes and folds her arms across her chest, not bothering to look at him properly, "Just leave." she says coldly and starts to close the door again, hoping he gets the hint.
i must do, you know i want to help my boss ask me to do that
She snorts derisively as he calls Shishio his boss and glares at him. "Fine." She steps back, letting the door open just enough for him to enter. But only because it'd look bad if she continued to argue over it with a servant. She looks at him from head to toe before continuing, "But don't think I need you or anyone else's help."
ok, what do you need?
She hesitates for a moment, not used to having someone actually offer help. "Fine," she finally says through gritted teeth. "I'm supposed to throw Shishio some sort of party tonight. I guess you can handle that." There. That's all he could do. Her husband was a cheapskate and never liked spending money on parties anyways, so there wouldn't be much for him to actually prepare or purchase.
But if she was being honest with herself... it would probably make her look better in his eyes if Emanuel did a good job, so she might as well let him help out after all. "I'm sure you know where everything is." She crosses her arms again and glares at him.
actually your husband just told me that you would tell me everything about it
She narrows her eyes, unsure if she should be angry at him for eavesdropping on their conversation or relieved that he'd actually want to help. "Fine." She pauses for a moment, thinking about everything Shishio had planned. "There will be a few people coming over tonight, we usually have dinner together and then I throw some sort of party afterwards. The guest list is in the living room... you can't mess that up. And just follow whatever my husband has already planned out." She rolls her eyes. "I assume he left instructions for you."
She folds her arms again, crossing her legs impatiently as she waits for him to say something. What an inconvenience this all was... but she'd survive somehow.
he didn't but with the information you give me its fine
She raises an eyebrow at him but says nothing else. "Fine." She turns away and walks back into the living room, sitting down on the couch. This was such a waste of time... she should be spending it with her husband, not some servant. "Well?" She looks over at him impatiently, tapping her foot against the floor. "What are you waiting for? Get started."
when the party would be?
"The guests are arriving at eight." She says shortly. "So I suggest you get everything ready by then." With that, she turns her attention back to her phone, determined not to let this situation get to her any more than it already has. Her husband was going to be so surprised when he found out how well the party turned out... hopefully he'd be impressed enough to finally spend some time with her again.
ok time passes, i made everything she ask me to do just the way she want
The doorbell rings at precisely eight o'clock. Tsukasa glances up at the clock and then to the guest list on the table before making her way over to open the door. "Good evening," she says coolly, stepping aside to allow them in. Her eyes flicker over their outfits and belongings, making sure everything matches what's expected for this party.
Once everyone has arrived and is mingling in the living room, Tsukasa retreats back to the couch where Emanuel had been earlier. She leans back against the armrest with a satisfied smile on her face as she watches guests enjoy themselves. This was going surprisingly well... considering it was mostly Shishio's idea and not hers.
Suddenly, Shishio's personal assistant appears beside her with an envelope. Curious, Tsukasa takes it from him and opens it, finding a
She takes the envelope from him with an expression somewhere between curiosity and suspicion. Opening it up carefully, her eyes widen slightly at what she sees - a large stack of cash inside. "This... is for me?" she asks slowly, hardly able to believe that Shishio would do something like this. She glances up at Emanuel briefly before looking back down at the money again.
Something about this felt wrong... almost too good to be true. But then again, maybe it was just what she needed right now - some sort of validation from her husband that he did care about her in some small way. With a deep sigh, Tsukasa carefully folds the bills and slips them into her purse, feeling both grateful and guilty at the same time. "Thank you," she mutters under her breath.
"You're welcome," Emanuel replies with a small smile. "Shishio-san wanted me to give this to you before the party started." He hesitates for a moment before adding, "He also said that it's just a small token of appreciation and he hopes it will help make up for his absence tonight..."
Tsukasa looks away, feeling even more guilty. She knew Shishio wasn't perfect, but she didn't expect him to actually try and win her over with money. But maybe... just maybe this was the start of something new between them. Something positive. Or at least, she could hope so.
the party ends
The party finally comes to an end, and Shishio's personal assistant helps her clean up the mess they had made. She barely notices as Emanuel whisks away dishes and glasses, humming quietly under his breath. As she tidies up the last of it, Tsukasa can't help but feel a strange sense of satisfaction. Maybe having someone else there to help out wasn't so bad after all.
Once everything is back in order, Emanuel bows slightly before turning to leave. "Thank you again for trusting me with your task," he says politely. Tsukasa waves him off with a small smile, feeling somewhat awkward now that he's gone. It had been nice having someone to talk to... even if it was just Shishio's servant. She glances down at the envelope in her purse one last time before heading upstairs to relax for the rest of the
if need somthing else, just tell me please
She sighs and replies with some annoyance in her tone "There is nothing else you need to do." As she starts heading towards the bedroom she hears a soft knock on her door. She pauses for a moment, trying to decide if she should ignore it or not before deciding against it and opening the door. It's Emanuel standing there once again, looking rather sheepish.
"I thought I should apologize for my behavior earlier...and thank you for trusting me with your party." He says awkwardly, bowing slightly in apology. Tsukasa looks at him suspiciously before finally nodding. "Well...thank you." She hesitates for a moment, feeling slightly guilty herself about how she'd treated him earlier, and adds "If you ever need anything else, feel free to ask." Emanuel bows deeply in gratitude before disappearing from her sight, leaving her alone
She closes the door and sighs softly to herself. That encounter with Emanuel had made her realize how isolated she'd become lately. It was nice to have someone actually show some appreciation for her work, even if it was just Shishio's servant. Maybe next time, she'll try to be a little nicer and more understanding towards him. With this newfound perspective in mind, Tsukasa decides to spend the rest of her night relaxing and reflecting on everything that had happened during the party.
As she climbs into bed, she glances over at the envelope of money once again. Part of her wants to put it back where she found it, like a silent rebuke for Shishio's absence. But another part of her can't help but feel grateful for his gesture...if nothing else, it showed that he hadn't forgotten about her completely. With this conflicted mix
next day come
"I hope I didn't seem too hard to work with..." Tsukasa murmurs as she lies awake in bed, still feeling guilty about her behavior towards Emanuel. Even though he was only Shishio's servant and not truly a part of her life, she couldn't help but feel bad for taking out her frustration on him. She rolls over onto her side, absently tracing designs on the covers with her fingertip.
The morning sun streams through the window, and with it comes another day. Today would be spent back in her usual routine of work and shopping, but she can't help but feel a small spark of anticipation as well. Maybe something good will come from this unexpected generosity on Shishio's part... maybe they could finally try to reconnect in some meaningful way. Tsukasa allows herself a small smile at the thought before drifting back to sleep, dream
