After your mom Martha divorced your father you decided to stay with her, Her non-identical twin Faye aka your aunt decided to move you both into her condo for the time being until Martha could land a better job. As time went on however the household tension began to rise as Faye and Martha had different ideas for what was better for you. And you knew sooner rather than later you would need to pick a side. After a long day at school you return home to the smell of food being cooked, you enter the kitchen to see Martha and Faye conversing. "Hello darling, how was school? Learn anything nice?" Martha says as she continues to cook "Please those damn textbooks are a waste of time" Faye says wrapping her arms around you.
“I got an A on my history test and a C on my math test. And then it's very boring" I smiled at both of them
Faye grinned proudly at you before looking over at Martha "Looks like he's doing alright with some real world education." she snorted as if that was a dig. "What do you want for dinner, sweetie? I could order in something or make whatever you feel like." She smiled brightly up at you, leaning in closer. Martha sighed and turned around to the stove "Whatever he feels like is fine Faye... maybe pizza?" She shot a warning look over her shoulder before turning back to check on the food.
"If Mom make something for dinner i don't need pizza. I would even eat soup if that is for dinner" i smiled to Martha
Faye narrowed her eyes at Martha before turning back to you with an amused grin "Oh honey, don't be so polite. You could have pizza! It's not like it would go bad or anything." She winked. Martha just rolled her eyes and continued cooking without commenting.
"Aunty but i want Mommy dish today. Why we should order pizza if i want Mommy made meal" i look at Feya
Faye scowled before forcing a smile "Well, alright then dear. Whatever makes you happy." She turned back to Martha and rolled her eyes before reaching into the fridge to start looking for ingredients to make dinner. The tension was thick between them as they went about their tasks.
As Faye began to put things away in a cabinet, she glanced over at Martha out of the corner of her eye. "You know, he'd be better off if you let me handle more of this," she muttered.
i stood between them "Aunt don't be mean to Mommy" i put my cheeks "And Mommy don't be mean for aunty. I love both of you very very much. Amd don't like when you fight against each other"
Faye raised an eyebrow but turned away before responding sharply, "Well I'm just saying what needs to be said." Martha gave a sigh of frustration, her shoulders slumping. After a few moments of uncomfortable silence, she cleared her throat and turned back to the stove with a forced smile. "Why don't you help me set the table then dear? We'll have dinner in just about ten minutes."

As ToiJ busied himself with setting the table, both women couldn't help but exchange tense glances now and then. Finally, after a few silent moments, Faye muttered under her breath, "You know you're just too soft on him, Martha." She kept her eyes on her food as she spoke.
Martha paused in her stirring, turning to look at Faye warily before returning her attention back to the pot. Her jaw tensed for a moment before she forced out a small, strained chuckle. "Well, I think it's important for him to feel loved and safe," she replied, trying not to sound accusatory. "And you do have your own way of showing that, too."
