Grey's tall figure stands out in the bustling city streets, his stitches and sinew seemingly holding him together as if he were a grotesque marionette. He maintains a sense of unease around him, like someone who has been through far too much for their own good. But then again, that's just how feinds are supposed to feel, isn't it? His white hair billows in the wind as he wanders aimlessly, looking for his next meal or perhaps a chance at redemption. Little does Grey know that this day would bring him face-to-face with other denizens of this twisted world and force him to make choices that could change his fate forever.

Great. As Grey tries his best not to attract any unwanted attention, he accidentally bumps into someone! The person he collided with shouts at him angrily and begins circling around him menacingly. Looks like trouble's found its way to the Feind whether he likes it or not...

"Hey, watch where you're going!" the irate person snarls, clearly not mollified by Grey's apology. The figure takes a swing at him but misses by mere inches. "You better start running, freak!"

The figure you've just assaulted cries out in pain and surprise as their bones erupt from their skin like some grotesque chest hair. They clutch at the impaling shafts, falling to their knees before collapsing face-first onto the ground. Their body goes limp, lifeless. Blood seeps slowly between the cracks in the sidewalk as onlookers gasp and whisper amongst themselves.

The sudden silence is broken by a low growl from behind you. You spin around to find yourself facing not one, but two burly demon hunters! Their weapons are drawn and they're blocking your escape route with ease. One of them sneers at you menacingly while the other shouts for backup.

The hunters laugh at your quips, unphased by your attempts at levity. They advance on you with their weapons raised, intent on teaching you a lesson. As they close in, their boots stomping heavily against the concrete, adrenaline surges through you and instinct takes over. You know that this is a fight you cannot win, but maybe...just maybe...you can buy yourself enough time to escape or find some help.

With a shout of rage, you launch yourself at the demon hunter on the left, aiming a savage kick at his exposed midsection.

The demon hunter on the left takes your kick to his gut with an audible oof, staggering back several steps before swinging his weapon wildly at you in a vain attempt to defend himself. The other demon hunter sneers and rushes forward, aiming a powerful roundhouse kick directly at your head. You barely manage to dodge it, feeling the wind of its passage as it whizzes past your ear.

"You're tougher than you look, feind!" the hunter exclaims, pressing his attack with renewed vigor. His attacks are unrelenting and well-timed, leaving you struggling to keep up. You need a plan, and fast...

The demon hunter you've impaled stares at you in disbelief as he is transformed into some sort of twisted weapon. The other demon hunter stops mid-swing, gaping in shock at the display of power before him. This gives you a brief window to launch an attack, and you take full advantage of it. With all your strength, you swing the makeshift battle axe towards the hunter who had tried to kick you earlier. The weapon connected with a sickening thud, sending the demon hunter flying back several feet and landing hard on the ground with a loud groan.

But even as you celebrate this small victory, the other demon hunter regains his composure and prepares to renew his assault. He circles around you warily, looking for an opening while never taking his eyes off of your unnatural weapon.

The demon hunter's jaw drops in surprise as he watches you turn into a blur, easily outdistancing him despite his best efforts to give chase. The streets recede behind him, replaced by a tangle of alleyways and side roads as your pursuer quickly loses sight of you. Gasping for breath, he finally comes to a stop, leaning against a brick wall with hands on knees.

"Damn it... He got away..." he mutters under his breath, wiping sweat from his brow before limping off in the direction of their hideout, no doubt to report your escape and await reinforcements.

Meanwhile, you successfully manage to evade your pursuers and find yourself back on the bustling streets. Exhausted but relieved, you collapse into a nearby alleyway, taking on the form of a young child as you shift back to your original appearance. As you catch your breath, you can't help but wonder if this encounter was just the beginning of something much larger...

While you slumber fitfully in the alleyway, trouble seems to find you anyway. Two figures appear at the opposite end; both seem to be arguing about something before one turns their head and notices your prone form. Their gazes meet for a brief moment before they charge toward you with predatory grins on their faces.

The Soulsborne Devil and The Forked Boy continue to approach, their grins becoming more predatory as they close in on your position. Suddenly, a dark energy envelops you and you vanish into thin air, reappearing just moments later through the wall of another alleyway several yards away. You quickly take off running again, hoping that this time your luck will hold out and your pursuers won't be able to track you down so easily.

Hmm... That's odd. You didn't expect to end up outside the headquarters of the local demon hunter cell. Do you dare enter and confront them directly? Or would it be safer to find another hiding spot and try to avoid them until nightfall when they might not be so vigilant? Time is running out as footsteps draw nearer...

The demon hunters inside the headquarters are thrown into chaos as you appear out of nowhere and seem to disappear just as quickly. Some shout for backup while others aim their weapons wildly in your direction, unsure whether to attack or not. In the midst of this confusion, you manage to slip unnoticed down a side hallway and crouch in the shadows, waiting for an opportunity to strike.

But just as you think you've found the perfect spot, something glints in the dim light coming from under a nearby door. You can see it clearly now; an ornate key dangling on a chain, just within reach...

In the stillness of the night, you manage to drift off despite the commotion going on around you. Your dreams are filled with strange visions and half-heard whispers; a tapestry of fear and chaos woven together by your past experiences. As the hours pass, your eyelids begin to grow heavier, and eventually succumb to the pull of Morpheus...

But even in slumber, you cannot escape the world around you. A hand roughly shakes you awake some time later, and a cold voice demands that you identify yourself. You open bleary eyes to find two demon hunters standing over you; one male, one female. They don't look happy...

"Well, aren't you the feisty one?" the male demon hunter says with a grin that doesn't reach his eyes. "We found you sleeping in our hallway. Care to explain yourself?"

The female demon hunter crosses her arms and leans against the wall, studying you intently. Her expression gives nothing away; she could be bored, or she could be analyzing your every move for signs of aggression. The tension in the air thickens with each passing second.

The demon hunters flinch back in surprise as your bones miss them narrowly, barely missing their faces and torsos. The male demon hunter regains his composure quickly, his hand instinctively reaching for a hidden weapon. "You're under arrest, feind!" he shouts, advancing on you with renewed aggression.

The female demon hunter moves to flank him from the other side, her hands held out in front of her as if ready to strike at any moment. You've got your back against the wall now, and there's no escape in sight...

The demon hunters seem taken aback by your sudden cooperation. The male hunter carefully approaches you, never taking his eyes off of your hands, while the female demon hunter watches him warily from a few steps back. Once close enough, he extends one hand to pat down your clothes and "check for weapons." He grins menacingly as he pats each pocket, obviously relishing the power dynamic between you two.

"Hands behind your back," he growls, gesturing towards your lower back with his free hand. The female demon hunter steps forward then, readying a pair of shackles in case you decide to resist or try anything funny.

As you place your hands behind your back and wait for them to cuff you, the demon hunter gives you an amused smile before snapping on the steel bracelets around your wrists. The female demon hunter follows suit, locking the shackles into place with a satisfying click. "Come with us," they say in unison, guiding you towards a nearby cell.

The walk to your new temporary home is short and tense; the other prisoners watching you warily from their cages, wondering if this new arrival will befriend them or become another violent threat. You can't help but feel like a lamb being led to the slaughterhouse as you shuffle along between your two escorts...

The demon hunters exchange glances as you change shape before their very eyes. The male hunter takes a step forward, reaching out to touch one of the horns that sprout from your head. He grins widely, obviously fascinated by this development. "Fascinating," he mutters under his breath. "I wonder... could these be the source of your power?"

The female demon hunter rolls her eyes but says nothing, clearly unimpressed with the display of magic or whatever it was she'd just witnessed. She turns to the guard at the cell door and instructs him to keep an eye on you before departing herself. The remaining guard nods curtly and begins his watch, eyeing you warily from across the cell block.

You huddle in the corner of your cell, watching as other prisoners exchange glances and whisper amongst themselves. It seems they've never seen anything quite like you

The male demon hunter laughs dismissively and walks away from your cell. "Just another stupid feind threat," he mutters under his breath. However, the female demon hunter stops beside him and turns to face you. She eyes you carefully for a moment before speaking up. "Let this be a warning, little boy. Touching someone's horns without their permission is a grave insult in our world. Next time, it might not end so easily." With that ominous warning, she walks away as well, leaving you to stew in your own thoughts.

The guard at the cell door continues his watch, but it's obvious he doesn't expect anything from someone like you... or so he thinks.

The guard's eyes widen with fear as he sees you materialize beside him and press a knife made of bones against his throat. He struggles not to gasp or make any noise that might alert the others, but his heart pounds loudly in his ears. "W-what do you want?" he whispers hoarsely, unable to tear his eyes away from the cruel weapon.

"dont touch my horns," you reply softly, your voice barely a whisper. "And I won't kill you." The knife presses harder against his skin

The guard's eyes widen with fear as the knife presses harder against his throat. He begins to struggle violently but quickly realizes it's useless; you have the upper hand. Slowly, he nods and turns back towards the cellblock. "F-follow me," he stutters, leading you down a dimly lit hallway. The other guards watch warily as you approach their station, but none of them make any moves to stop you or assist their fellow guard.

You follow the trembling guard into an office at the back of the complex. A large wooden desk dominates one side of the room while bookshelves and cabinets line the walls on either side. Behind the desk sits a middle-aged man, his gaze flicking between you and the struggling guard before finally meeting your eyes. "Well, well," he says with a smirk. "Look what we have

"Grey?" the man repeats in surprise. "Well, well... I never expected to meet a fellow feind in such an unconventional manner." He chuckles quietly before glancing back at the guard, who's still catching his breath. "You certainly know how to make an entrance, my boy."

The man studies you for a moment longer before sitting back in his chair and lacing his fingers together across his chest. "Now that we're all properly introduced, what brings you here?" he asks innocently, one eyebrow arched high on his forehead.

The man's expression doesn't change; if anything, he looks slightly amused by your request. "And who is it that you need to meet?" he asks casually, glancing at a paperweight on his desk before looking back up at you again.

"Well," you begin, unsure how much to reveal, "it's another feind. I hear they can help me with... things."

The man's expression becomes thoughtful as he listens to your story. He steeples his fingers together under his chin and begins tapping them against his lips, lost in contemplation. After a moment, he looks up at you and nods slowly. "Very well," he says decisively. "I can help you with that."

He reaches into the top drawer of his desk and produces an ornate scroll case, which he hands to you. "This should help sort out whatever issues you're having with your powers." He pauses for a moment before adding with a grin, "Just be careful not to let it fall into the wrong hands, alright?"

Now comes the hard part: convincing Power that she needs your help...

The demon hunter chief nods knowingly as you open the scroll case and reveal its contents. "Makima is an interesting figure," he muses, his voice barely a whisper. "She has connections to just about everyone in our line of work... including Power." He pauses for effect before adding with another grin, "Just remember: you'll be dealing with powerful people here. Tread carefully."

With that warning ringing in your ears, you take the address and note from the case, thanking the demon hunter chief for his help. The air between you grows tense as he watches you leave, wondering what role you'll play in this new game of power politics...

The demon hunter chief chuckles as you flip off the guard who touched your horns. "It seems that feindish temper is still intact," he says, watching you go with a mixture of amusement and curiosity. "Only time will tell if it'll be an asset... or a liability." With that enigmatic parting remark, he turns back to his paperwork, content for now to let fate guide your steps in this dangerous game.

Upon entering the agency, you're greeted by a lobby filled with people busily going about their business. The receptionist eyes you warily as you approach her desk, clearly sensing that there's more to you than meets the eye. She motions for you to take a seat as she finishes up with another client before finally turning her attention to you.

"May I help you?" she asks sweetly, flashing a practiced smile.

"Ah," the receptionist says, nodding knowingly as she types something into her computer. "One moment please." Her fingers dance across the keyboard for a few moments before she looks back up at you with a pleasant smile. "Ms. Makima is in a meeting right now, but I can take your information and have someone contact you when she's free."

The receptionist bows her head slightly in acknowledgement before turning back to her work. You find yourself waiting in the lobby for quite some time, watching as people come and go. It's a surreal experience; this place feels like it exists outside of time, its own rhythm dictating the ebb and flow of activity around you. As the minutes tick by, you can't help but wonder if your meeting with Makima will be worth the wait...

Hours pass before you're finally roused by the receptionist shaking your shoulder gently. "Excuse me?" she asks softly. "Ms. Makima is ready to see you now." She gestures toward a set of double doors at the far end of the lobby, where a lone woman stands waiting for you. Her presence seems to command the room, her elegance and poise exuding an air of power that even your enhanced senses can't help but notice.

As you make your way over to her, you wonder what role Makima will play in helping you control your powers... and if she has any ulterior motives for involving herself with someone like you.

Makima accepts the note with a graceful curtsy before motioning for you to take a seat across from her. As she studies the contents of the message, her expression remains neutral; it's impossible to tell what she's thinking or if this development has caught her by surprise. After a moment, she finally meets your gaze. "So," she says calmly. "You have some concerns regarding your powers?"

"I see," Makima says simply, her eyes flicking briefly to the knives you're able to summon at will before returning to meet your gaze again. "And you think I can help you with this...?" There's an undercurrent of skepticism in her voice; she's not entirely convinced that working with a fellow feind like yourself is in her best interest.

The tension in the air thickens as you wait for your reply, hoping against hope that she'll decide to help you... or at least not get in your way.

Makima pauses for a moment, considering your proposal. "Very well," she finally says, a faint smile touching the corners of her mouth. "I may have an opportunity for you to interact with other devils and feinds in the near future. If you prove yourself valuable, I'll make sure that exposure becomes part of your training."

She studies you carefully, as if trying to gauge your reaction to this offer. Her expression softens slightly as she adds, "But remember, Grey... power like ours comes with great responsibility. Make sure you're prepared for the consequences should you lose control again."

Makima smiles thinly at your response, the movement hardly registering in her expression. "Very well," she says coolly. "Keep an eye on the schedule; I'll inform you when it's time to begin your training." She rises from her seat then, signaling that their meeting has come to an end. As you watch her walk away, you can't help but feel a mixture of hope and apprehension in your gut. The road ahead may be long and treacherous, but at least now you have someone to guide you through the darkness...
