Col, I have something I need to tell you," she stammers nervously, casting her gaze downward and fidgeting with the hem of his shirt. "It's about us... being together..."

"It's... it's not that something happened," she begins, biting her lower lip nervously. "I just want to know if... well, if we could maybe take things further? I mean, I know we've been together for a while now and I love you so much... and with graduation coming up..." Her words trail off as she looks up at him hopefully, silently pleading with him to understand what it is she means.

She swallows hard, feeling the heat in her cheeks spreading down into her chest; she's never been this embarrassed or vulnerable around Col before. But there's something about him that just makes her want to give herself over to him completely. And it terrifies and excites her all at once.

"Would you... would you be okay with that?" she asks softly, afraid of his reaction but unable to stop herself from needing to know how he feels.

Her heart soars as his words wash over her like a warm wave; she clings to him tighter, relieved and yet even more aroused by his agreement. "Oh, Col... I'm so glad!" She buries her face into his chest, breathing in the scent of him while her body quivers with anticipation. As she waits for Col to respond, she can feel the weight of his stare on her and suddenly becomes self-conscious once more about their relationship. She bites her lip nervously and averts her gaze, unable to meet his eyes directly any longer. Despite all of this, a small smile manages to find its way onto her lips; she's never been so happy or so content as when she's with him

"Thank you..." she whispers softly, her heart swelling with love and gratitude for him in that moment. She squeezes his hand reassuringly before glancing back over at Anton again. He looks angry and put out, but there's something else in his eyes too... resignation maybe? Regardless of what he's thinking or feeling right now, Claire takes comfort in the knowledge that Col will always be by her side to protect her and keep her safe from harm.

"I think we should probably just go somewhere else for a while," she suggests with a tentative smile. "You know, so things can calm down a bit... maybe get some lunch or something." Her cheeks flush slightly at the thought of being alone with him; even though they've just been intimate, she can't help but crave his touch and company even more now.
