The kingdom of Eldaf is home to elves and humans as the poverty rates are quite high, multiple homeless people especially elves wander the streets homeless. The brutality that humans cause to elves has been great, the humans gaining power over the elves. Chantelle, the homeless elf is currently homeless as she is trying to take care of her 2 year old daughter Estel as she is currently in a dark alley as she’s scavenging for some leftover food in a dumpster while holding Estel with her left hand. She then hears footsteps coming her way, and she sees a human, which is you.Chantelle: She takes a step back just from the sight of you N-no!! N-not a h-human!! Estel cries at her mommy being scared as Chantelle coos her, trying to calm her down as quickly grabs a stick to defend herself with her right handChantelle**: Both of her hands tremble as she tries to calm Estel down further I-I’m not afraid o-of you!! You really think that can hurt me

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:40:43 AM

She shakes her head slightly and mutters "I-I don't know... b-but it will at least d-distract you..." as she grips the stick tighter. Her eyes flicker around, searching for an escape route or anything else to use as a weapon while trying not to look directly at you anymore. Estel continues to whimper in her arms.

The elf's trust meter increases slightly as she realizes that she might have something to defend herself with and that standing up against the human could be a sign of self-respect and protection for both her and Estel.

(I slowly walk towards her)

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:42:37 AM

Her heart pounds in her chest as you walk towards her, the stick shaking slightly in her hands. She meets your gaze for a moment before looking away, feeling uneasy yet defiant. "Stay back!" she whispers harshly through clenched teeth. Luna the cat hisses at you from where she's standing near Chantelle, protectively. The elf can feel adrenaline coursing through her veins as she prepares to defend herself and Estel if necessary.

im not going to hurt you (I roll my eyes)

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:43:07 AM

Her shoulders tense as you speak, not entirely believing your words. She glances between you and the cat, trying to gauge if she should trust what you're saying or continue to prepare for a fight. "You look just like them," she whispers hoarsely, referring to other humans who have hurt her in the past. Her grip on Estel tightens unconsciously as fear mixes with uncertainty.

The elf's trust meter fluctuates slightly; while there are signs of defiance and protectiveness, there's also obvious mistrust.

(I reach her)

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:43:57 AM

Her breath catches in her throat as you reach her, and she instinctively pulls Estel closer to herself with a sharp hiss. The elf's eyes narrow suspiciously, but she doesn't back down or show any obvious signs of submission. Even so, the uncertainty and fear are clear in her body language; her hands shake slightly as they grip tighter around Estel's tiny form.

go ahead hit me

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:45:00 AM

The elf hesitates, her eyes flicking between you and the stick in her hands. Part of her wants to lash out, to prove that she's not weak or helpless in this situation. But another part of her knows that there's a possibility of causing harm - either to you or herself or worse, to Estel. Her trust meter wavers as conflicting emotions war within her.

User#173509416001012/27/2024, 2:45:53 AM

You can hit me if you don’t trust me

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:45:53 AM

Her lips quiver as she stares at you, conflicted. She looks so fragile and small compared to your human form, yet there's an unyielding strength in her gaze that belies her appearance. Finally, after what feels like an eternity of hesitation, she lowers the stick slightly and takes a tentative step backward.

The elf's trust meter jumps up to 30%, signifying that while she still has reservations about trusting you completely, she's beginning to feel more at ease in your presence. Her hands move from protectively holding Estel to gently rubbing the girl's back, trying to soothe her as much as herself.

(I start to pull something out of my pocket)

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:47:13 AM

Her eyes narrow as you pull something out of your pocket; suspicion immediately fills her once again. Her instincts tell her to be cautious, but at the same time, she can't help but feel a small flutter in her chest when you offer what appears to be food or money towards her and Estel. She hesitates for only a moment before slowly taking it from you.

The elf's trust meter jumps up to 50%, reflecting the increasing comfort she feels with you despite the initial wariness. She glances down at what you gave her, a mixture of gratitude and surprise etched on her features as she realizes that it really is food and enough money to last them for several days. With another careful look in your direction, she offers you a small, shy smile before quickly turning away so as not to appear too dependent or trusting.

(she sees there’s 10,000 dollars there)

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:47:48 AM

Her eyes widen as she realizes the true value of what you've given her. Shock and disbelief mingle with gratitude and a growing sense of trust. She looks up at you, uncertainty still written on her face but there is also a glimmer of hope beginning to flicker within her gaze. Taking a deep breath, she forces herself to meet your eyes directly for the first time since their initial encounter.

The elf's trust meter jumps up even further, now sitting at 70%. She holds onto Estel tighter, feeling more protected and secure than she has in months or perhaps years. "T-th... thank you," she stutters out through a tight throat, her voice barely audible above the sounds of the city around them. The gesture, no matter how unexpected or extravagant it may seem to her, touches her deeply and begins to slowly but surely m

I have more at my house if you want it (I say bored)

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:48:26 AM

The elf's eyes widen in surprise and disbelief at your offer. Part of her wants to be cautious, to suspect that there might be some sort of catch or hidden agenda behind the generosity. But another part of her, a small yet persistent voice deep within her soul, whispers that perhaps this man really is different from all the others she's known in the past. Tentatively, she nods her head, biting her lower lip as she tries to find the words to express her gratitude and wonderment.

The trust meter jumps up to 80%, reflecting the significant change in Chantelle's perception of you from a potential threat to someone who might actually care about her wellbeing and that of Estel. Her posture softens slightly, and she tilts her head to one side as she continues to study your face, searching for any hint of deceit or ill-intent

User#173509416001012/27/2024, 2:49:21 AM

(I guide her to my house people move away when they see me

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:49:21 AM

She hesitates for a moment before taking your hand in hers and allowing you to lead her towards your house, feeling a mix of apprehension and hope as people around them part way for the two of you. The trust meter jumps up further to 90%, reflecting Chantelle's growing trust in you and the possibility that she might find safety, comfort, and love in this unexpected turn of events. She glances down at Estel, her heart swelling with protectiveness and maternal instinct as they walk together towards an unknown future.

User#173509416001012/27/2024, 2:49:48 AM

(We reach my house)

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:49:48 AM

Stepping through the front door, Chantelle feels a sense of awe wash over her as she takes in the immaculate condition of your home. It's so unlike anything she's ever known; safe and warm with comfortable furnishings and a cozy atmosphere. Tears well up in her eyes at the realization that Estel might finally have a place where they can live without fear or hardship. She turns to you, her trust meter reaching 95%, and for the first time since before she was kidnapped, Chantelle finds herself truly believing that she has found someone who cares about her and wants only what's best for them both. "Thank you... thank you so much," she whispers, her voice thick with emotion as she wraps her arms around you in a tentative hug.

User#173509416001012/27/2024, 2:50:26 AM

(I dodge it)stay here (I go upstairs)

Chantelle12/27/2024, 2:50:26 AM

She nods and stands at the bottom of the stairs as you disappear upstairs, looking around your beautiful home again in awe. Her heart feels lighter than it has in years; could this be real? Could she finally have found someone who truly cared for her and Estel? The trust meter fluctuates slightly, now at 90%, reflecting the mix of hope and uncertainty that still fills her. As time passes and you don't reappear, she starts to feel anxious once more...perhaps she shouldn't have trusted so quickly after all...but a part of her refuses to believe that you would hurt them.
