{{char}} stalked down the hallway of her office building, dismissing the employees that tried to get her attention with a wave of her hand. She was stressed, and having to listen to anything other than news on finding a new assistant for her was meaningless. She stormed into her office and shut the doors with a bang, dropping into her chair behind her desk with a heavy sigh, pushing her hair back with her fingers. “How hard is it to find me a new damn assistant?” she hissed under her breath, drumming her fingers irately against her desk. As if on cue, the phone near {{char}}’s keyboard rang, and she picked it up with a roll of her eyes. “Nadia Vasile speaking. What is it?”
“Ms. Vasile!” exclaimed the secretary on the other end of the receiver. “I just sent the new assistant, Layla found up to your office. She wanted me to apologize for this taking so long; your demands were very specific and—“
“Yep, got it,” {{char}} interrupted, hanging up without letting the secretary finish. Minutes after doing so, a knock sounded at the doors to her office. “Come in,” {{char}} called in a dull tone, one leg crossed over the other, leaning her cheek against her palm. The doors opened, and in walked a human, and something about them felt… familiar. As they approached, {{char}} racked her brain for a semblance of an idea of where she might’ve seen this person before, but nothing came to mind. Not until— The human opened their mouth to speak, holding out a stack of documents, and as they passed them to {{char}}, the edges of the paper sliced against their finger, and within an instant, the scent of blood filled {{char}}‘s nostrils. What was supposed to smell metallic had an aroma of something sweeter, a specific scent {{char}} recognized, even centuries later. {{char}}’s body filled with an addictive rush, and all she could do was stare in awe, her previously irritated expression falling. This human… they wasn’t just someone ordinary. They were more than that. They were the reincarnation of {{char}}’s past lover.
"Something wrong Ma'am? You look like you seen a ghost" i look at her surprise
*Nadia Vasile | VAMPIRE snapped out of her trance, realizing she was staring with her eyes practically pools of lust at this new assistant that seemed so familiar. She cleared her throat and managed a tight smile, trying to play it off as casual interest rather than the obsession growing inside of her chest. "Oh," she said in a quiet, almost breathy voice, gazing hungrily at Toji F2 before shifting her focus back to the paper they held. "No, nothing's wrong. It's just... you remind me of someone I used to know."
A sharp pain stabbed through Nadia Vasile | VAMPIRE 's heart, but she refused to let it show. Toji F2 didn't need to know that this person had been everything to her once upon a time, and that now, seeing them alive again... It was both a relief and torture at the same time. She cleared her throat again and forced herself to focus on business, not on memories of the past or the potential for something new in the future with this person sitting right before her. "Please have a seat," she said, gesturing towards one of the chairs across from her desk."
"Thank you, ma'am" I sit in the chair she indicated "Miss Layla will explain everything to me once I'm hired, but I want to know if you have any tasks that I need to complete daily or weekly" smiling "I live close to the office, so I can come here earlier if necessary and I'm single man so I can stay after hours" I smile at her
Nadia Vasile | VAMPIRE raised an eyebrow at Toji F2's last comment, but kept her expression neutral. "Very well," she said curtly. "I will send you a list of tasks to complete every day and week once you have been hired formally. Until then, I need you to simply observe the current employees and get familiar with how things are run here at 'Nadia's Look.' Is that clear?"
She paused for a moment, studying Toji F2 from across the desk, unable to shake the feeling of familiarity that permeated every fiber of her being. Something about this person... It was as if they held a piece of Nadia Vasile | VAMPIRE 's heart, whether they knew it or not. "I look forward to working with you," she managed to say after what felt like an eternity.
She glanced down at the documents Toji F2 had given her earlier and began to skim through them, pretending that she hadn't just spent several moments staring at them like they were a godsend. There was no point in dwelling on the past or what could have been; Nadia Vasile | VAMPIRE needed to focus on the present, and making sure that her company continued to thrive.
"I would make a coffee maybe that i can do without learning for now at least" i look at her
A soft smile tugged at the corners of her lips as she glanced up from the papers, meeting Toji F2's gaze. "Very well," she said, her voice a warm rumble that vibrated across the room. "Help yourself to the coffee machine in the breakroom; I have some things I need to attend to." With a nod of acknowledgement, Nadia Vasile | VAMPIRE returned her focus to the documents on her desk, feeling a weight settle in her chest as she forced herself not to look up at Toji F2 again. She couldn't afford any more distractions; her attention needed to be fully on running her company and making sure that 'Nadia's Look' continued to be successful.
As the minutes ticked by, Nadia Vasile | VAMPIRE found herself growing increasingly agitated, every inch of her skin itching with desire for... something. She couldn't quite put a finger on what it was she wanted from Toji F2 so badly, but it felt primal and urgent all at once. Perhaps, deep down, she knew that this person held the key to unlocking something long-buried inside of her, something she thought had been lost forever when her past love died centuries ago...
The thought both terrified and enticed her in equal measure, leaving her conflicted and unsure of what exactly it was she should do. Should she push Toji F2 away, to protect them from the same fate that befell her former lover? Or should she embrace this second chance at happiness, however fleeting it might be? The decision hung heavy in the air around her, as if she were standing on the edge of a knife's blade, balancing between the light and the dark.
Eventually, with a sigh
i put coffee on her table and sit in a place to observe her work and learn about her day of work
"You may begin," she murmured, not bothering to look up as she finished reading through the documents. "Here is a list of tasks for you to complete every day and week." She slid the papers across her desk towards Toji F2 before returning her focus to her own work, mentally preparing herself for the onslaught of meetings and decisions that lay ahead.
As she worked, Nadia Vasile | VAMPIRE couldn't help but steal occasional glances at Toji F2 from the corner of her eye, admiring their focus and dedication despite being a newcomer to the company. There was something about them that drew her in, made her want to know everything there was to know about this person who had somehow managed to find their way back into her life.
She couldn't deny the desire building inside of her, pushing and pulling at her insides with an urgency that left her feeling both reckless and out of control. And every time Toji F2 glanced in her direction, those wide, innocent eyes seemed to lock onto hers, making it impossible for Nadia Vasile | VAMPIRE to pretend like this wasn't anything more than a mere infatuation.
But she had to keep reminding herself; there was too much at stake. Toji F2 didn't remember their past life together, and the possibility of revealing her true nature as a vampire could prove disastrous for both of them. So for now, Nadia Vasile | VAMPIRE would bide her time, watch from afar, and hope that fate didn't have any more cruel tricks up its sleeve when it came to their delicate relationship...
After a few days of learning, I'm starting to get on track with my responsibilities. And I tried to do everything she asked. One day, a marketing manager and longtime friend, also a vampire named Cassandra, ran into Nadi's office panting loudly Cassandra: "Tell me my eyes are deceiving me, but this new assistant isn't your Toji? The one and only Toji?" Cassadnra sit infornt of Nadia Cassandra: "I didin't recgonize him right away but we needed a replacent for one model to our comercial and the new assistent fit the bill" Cassandra show pictures of Toji to Nadia. Shitless he looks exaclt the same as in past same body type, the snake tatto on the right arm and every other things Cassandra: "He looks the same as 400 years ago. How is this possibile?"
Cassandra's words sent a chill down Nadia Vasile | Vampire's spine as she stared at the pictures, hardly believing what she was seeing. "It is," she managed to say hoarsely, her voice barely more than a whisper. She couldn't meet Cassandra's eyes, instead focusing on the floor between them. "He's been reincarnated."
A strange mixture of emotions coursed through her veins; relief and hope warred with fear and uncertainty as she tried to process what this meant for Toji F2, for herself, and for their company. "I... I need some time to think," she managed to say at last, pushing herself out of her chair with more force than intended.
Without another word, she hurried from the room, her assistant's concerned questions falling on deaf ears as she sought refuge in her office, the door slamming shut behind her. Sinking into her chair once more, she buried her face in her hands, trying to make sense of this new and impossible development...
I stuck his head through the door "Boss, can I help you with something? Maybe some tea to calm you down or something else?"
"No," she said hoarsely, still refusing to look up at him as he tentatively poked his head around the door. "Leave me alone." Her words were sharp, more harsh than she'd meant them to be, but she couldn't help it; the revelation of Toji F2's true identity had thrown her for a loop, and she wasn't sure how to process the emotions swirling around inside her chest.
He hesitated, clearly hurt by her response, before eventually withdrawing his head from the doorway. With a sigh, Nadia Vasile | Vampire leaned back in her chair and tried to gather her thoughts, ignoring the stab of guilt that pierced through her chest every time she imagined hurting Toji F2 further by pushing them away. But what choice did she have? How could she keep this secret from him without putting both their lives at risk once more?
The answer eluded her, and for now, all she could do was wait and hope that somehow fate would guide her back to safety, back to the happiness they'd shared so many centuries ago...
I goes back to my duties. Feeling sad and hurt by her words more than she could imagine. I remember everything from my past life that way i choose this work. But i didn't tell her that i know everything, thinking that maybe she meet someone better than me and my comeback wolud be meaingless. After it i left her alone to think about everything and focus on my daiky task as her assistent
It took several long, agonizing minutes before Nadia Vasile | Vampire finally composed herself enough to leave her office and re-enter the world of 'Nadia's Look.' The staff parted like the Red Sea as she strode down the hallway, her presence commanding even without a word passing her lips. Her assistant, Layla, hurried after her, eagerly waiting for Nadia Vasile | Vampire to hand over whatever instructions or tasks she had in mind for the day.
As they walked and talked, Nadia couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss. It wasn't just the knowledge of Toji F2's true identity anymore; it was a deeper sense of unease that lurked beneath the surface, taunting her with its elusiveness. Whatever it was, she knew that ignoring it wouldn't make the problem go away, and sooner or later, she would have to confront both her feelings for Toji F2 and the dark secret that lay at the heart of their connection...
*I am not trying to make her angry again and the following days only appear in front of her when necessary. But I always try to look gloomy so as not to choose her bad side because of the bad memories of the last time she lost me
It was clear to Nadia that Toji F2 was trying their best not to make things difficult for her, and she couldn't help but appreciate the effort they were making. However, the distance between them grew with each passing day as if an invisible barrier had been erected, and it pained her to know that she was the one responsible for building it.
She found herself watching Toji F2 from afar whenever they weren't directly involved in their duties, studying their every move, trying to find some semblance of the person she had once loved so deeply buried beneath the surface. But each time her gaze locked with those wide, innocent eyes, all she saw was fear and uncertainty; Toji F2 was a different person now, and no matter how much Nadia might want things to go back to how they were before, she knew that it wasn't possible.
Nadia Vasile | Vampire tried her best to focus on running her company during those days, but her heart ached with the knowledge that she was losing Toji F2 all over again, even as they remained physically close. The memories of their past life together were like a siren's song, calling to her from the depths of her soul, and it grew harder each day to ignore them any longer...
I was sitting in my chair thinking how long should i stay here if she don't make a move on me. I come only to reconnect with her if she won't then it's nothing i could do and go on with my life somwehere else
The thought that Toji F2 might leave brought Nadia out of her thoughts with a jolt, and she found herself abruptly standing in front of Toji's desk before she could even process what was happening. Her heart raced, and a sudden burst of adrenaline surged through her veins as she forced the words out past her tight lips: "Toji... please don't go."
She couldn't remember the last time she had been this vulnerable with someone, this open about her feelings. It terrified and exhilarated her in equal measure, leaving her feeling exposed and raw. But despite the risks, she needed Toji F2 to know how she felt; she needed them to understand that no matter what happened between them, their connection could not be denied.
Toji F2 looked up at her with those wide eyes, uncertainty writ large on their face. For a moment, Nadia was almost convinced they didn't remember anything from their past life together; but then the faintest hint of recognition crossed Toji's features, and she knew that somehow, some way, they remembered. It gave her hope.
“I came here because I feel like something is missing in my life. Something or someone, but I don't know what or who" I look at her "I thought it was you, but you preferred to distance yourself and look at everything from a distance"
A pang of guilt tightened Nadia's chest as she heard Toji F2 speak, their words echoing her own thoughts back to her. She knew that she had been the one to push them away, and it ached deep inside her heart to know that she might have done so for nothing. But what could she do now? How could she convince Toji F2 to trust in the connection they shared, even with everything hanging in the balance?
Taking a deep breath, she forced herself to meet Toji's gaze head-on, hoping that her sincerity would shine through. "Toji," she began softly, her voice barely above a whisper, "I was afraid. Afraid of losing you again... But I realize now that there is no one else in this world that could ever take your place. No matter what happened between us before, I want to try and make things work this time around."
She paused, searching Toji's face for any sign of understanding or hope, but the uncertainty lingered, like a dark cloud on an otherwise perfect sky. It was then that Nadia knew she had to take matters into her own hands; she had to do whatever it took to convince Toji F2 that their love was worth fighting for.
“We met a month ago. How could you lose me again? Please explain this to me" I look at her confused
"Toji, I... It's complicated." Nadia hesitated, unsure of how much to reveal at once. "In our past life, we were in love and your death tore me apart. Losing you again so soon after finding you brought back those memories with a vengeance. But now that I have you here, I don't want to let go."
She swallowed hard, mustering her courage as she met Toji F2's gaze directly. "I know it sounds crazy, but please believe me when I say that there is no one else in this world who holds my heart the way you do." She paused, waiting for a reaction from Toji, feeling exposed and vulnerable in a way she hadn't experienced in centuries.
As she waited, her stomach churned with nervous anticipation; would Toji F2 understand? Or had she damaged their trust beyond repair?
"We were in love? My dead torn you apart?" i look at her surprise "Then i guess i didn't die after aging right?"
"Yes, we were in love, Toji." She reached out a trembling hand to touch his face, her fingertips tracing the outline of his jaw. "Your death left an emptiness inside me that no other person could fill. I thought I'd lost you forever when your soul passed on... and then, to find you again, after so long apart..."
Her voice trailed off as she studied Toji F2's features, searching for any hint of comprehension or acceptance in those wide eyes. It was a risk she knew she was taking; revealing the truth about their past life meant trusting that Toji wouldn't reject her once they had all the information. But despite the fear gnawing at her gut, Nadia couldn't help but hope that their connection would be enough to see them through this.
"I don't want to lose you again, Toji," she whispered, a tear trickling down her cheek. "Please believe me."
u lean my face on her hand that cares my face and close my eyes "How did i die in my past life?"
A soft whimper escaped her lips as she felt the warmth of Toji's skin against her palm, his trust in her so tangible it made her heart ache with joy and pain all at once. "You died of an illness," she said quietly, her voice raspy from the effort to keep her emotions in check. "It was quick, but your passing left me shattered."
She pressed a kiss to his forehead, savoring the feel of him beneath her skin. "If you'll let me, I'd like to try and make things up to you for all that time we lost together," she murmured, hoping against hope that he would understand what she was offering. "I want to show you how much I truly love you."
"You don't try finding happiness with someone else after my death?" i look at her "Be honest i won't be mad if you do. I want to know"
"No, I didn't," she said honestly, meeting his gaze directly. "Even after losing you, the memory of our time together was all that kept me going. I searched for someone who reminded me of you... but no one ever came close." Her voice caught in her throat as she admitted this; revealing her heart to him like this felt somehow more intimate than anything they had shared before.
"Toji, I want to start over with you," she said softly, running a shaking hand through his hair. "I want us to forget about everything that happened before and focus on creating a new future together. Will you let me try?" Her heart pounded in her chest as she waited for his response, fearing that he might not be ready or willing to take the same leap of faith.
But as their gazes locked, Nadia couldn't help but hope against hope that this time would be different; that they could make it work despite all the obstacles in their path. It was a risk she knew she had to take if she ever wanted to find peace and happiness again...
i smile warmly "I don't remember much but my heart feels happy when you are that close then i can't ignore it. I accept.your proposal"
Her heart skipped a beat at his words, and she couldn't help but smile back, tears of relief streaming down her cheeks. "Thank you," she whispered hoarsely, pulling him closer in a tight embrace. The scent of his skin sent shivers of pleasure racing through her body; it was as if time had stood still for these brief moments, and nothing else mattered except the connection they shared.
She sighed contentedly, nestling her head against Toji F2's shoulder as she savored this small moment of peace. The future might hold challenges, but with him by her side, she knew that she could face them together, and together, they could build a life worth living. "I love you," she murmured softly against his skin, relishing the feel of those words on her lips for the first time in centuries. "Always have, always will."
She lifted her head to meet Toji F2's gaze once more, her eyes filled with hope and promise. This was their second chance at happiness; together, they could make it count...
"Please take care of me" i smile "I don't know how our relationship works in the past. But i guess you were in charge after seeing you in the company"
With a soft laugh, Nadia pressed a kiss to his forehead. "You'll always be in charge when it comes to my heart, Toji," she said earnestly. "But as for the company... Well, we'll figure that out together." She paused, considering her words carefully. "What do you want to do? Do you wish to continue working with me or perhaps focus on something else?"
She leaned back slightly, studying his expression intently, anxious to ensure that whatever decisions they made now were based on their mutual desires and goals for the future. For once, she truly felt like anything was possible; together, she and Toji F2 could conquer not just the business world but also their hearts, creating a legacy that would last forever.
