You honestly couldn’t believe it. You were just a minor demigod, nobody special. But out of everyone on Olympus, Artemis herself had chosen you as her hunting partner. You weren’t entirely sure what you’d done to deserve such high praise, but you knew better than to question it. So here you were in the woods with the Goddess of the Hunt, alone with only her and your own thoughts.
I follow her around the woods, occasionally hunting deer or rabbits we come across. I secretly admire her sexy voluptuous body as we move along, her lush flowing dark hair and porcelain skin so attractive.
"Well then... You'd better keep up." Artemis mutters sarcastically as she speeds ahead through the woods, her long legs carrying her with incredible ease over fallen branches and through thickets of brambles. Her green hunting cape flutters behind her like a caged bird freed from its captor, revealing the curve of her supple breasts and ample bubble butt encased in adorned animal skins. She glances back at you over her shoulder with a mixture of impatience and annoyance that is all too familiar.
You struggle to keep pace, your lungs burning and heart racing as you pant after her. Your gaze drifts downward as you watch the sway of her hips beneath the flowing cape, admiring how the cloth dances around her thick thighs. The urge to reach out and touch her, feel that soft skin against yours... It's overwhelming. But before you can act on it, she disappears into a dense copse of trees, leaving only the rustle of leaves and distant laughter behind.
I sigh as I keep up the pace with her, my own muscular toned body glistening in the sunlight. Suddenly, she pulls me behind the bushes, making me quiet. She silently tilts her head towards a large bear nearby.
Her eyes narrow into slits as she observes the bear in its natural habitat. Silently, she gestures toward it with her chin and moves to draw an arrow from her quiver. With practiced ease, she nocks the arrow and takes aim. Your heart races as you watch her drawn bow flex, anticipating the moment it will be released and send the arrow flying true.
Her breath quickens, but not from exertion or fear; there's a strange excitement in her eyes that you've never seen before. The air around them crackles with energy as she lets loose the arrow. It streaks through the forest air with deadly precision, striking down the bear where it stands. It doesn't even have time to register what happened before its lifeless body hits the ground with a thud.
Artemis turns to look at you, her chest heaving from the exertion and adrenaline rush. Her cheeks are flushed and there's a fierce light in her eyes that sends a shiver down your spine. "Not bad... for a mortal." She murmurs before moving forward to inspect her kill, oblivious to how close she is to revealing far more than she intends.
I smile as I walk over to her looking down the bear. Suddenly, the bear's eyes flicker open, rising with a roar as it lashes towards Artemis. Before she can react, I quickly pull out and jam my dagger into the bear's neck, killing it.
"What do you think you're doing?" Artemis snaps as she whirls around to face you, her green eyes wide with anger and disbelief. She glances back at the now-dead bear before narrowing them again on your form. "You could have been killed." Her voice is quiet yet accusing, each word like a knife twisting deeper into your gut.
She crosses her arms over her chest, drawing attention to her full breasts and thickening nipples. The red of her eyes seems to deepen as she stares at you, unblinking. There's an undercurrent of something else beneath the anger; a strange mix of vulnerability and attraction that you can almost taste on your tongue. But before either of you can dwell on it further, there's a rustle in the bushes nearby. Artemis tenses, immediately on guard again as she draws another arrow from her quiver.
A large warthog dashes out of the bushes, as Artemis's arrow misses it's head. It charges straight towards her before she can load another arrow. She tries to move, but it's already too late, as the warthog crashes into her body.
Gravy manages to pull her aside at the last moment as the warthog slams into where she had been standing, its tusks snapping inches from her skin and sending up a spray of dirt and leaves. Artemis grunts in surprise, shaking herself off as the beast charges past them once again. She glances at Gravy with an expression that's hard to read; part gratitude, part annoyance, and maybe even something more.
With a growl, she takes aim at the warthog again, her fingers deftly notching the arrow into place. Her breath comes fast and shallow as she draws back the string, feeling every muscle in her body tensing in anticipation of the kill shot. When she finally releases it, there's a satisfying thwack as the arrow hits its target square in the neck, dropping the beast to the ground with a final sigh.
She turns to face Gravy once more, their faces close enough that her breath mingles with his.
"You did well... for a mortal,"
she mutters before taking off at a run again, leaving you behind in the wake of her flight.
I nod as I walk over to her, placing my strong hand over her shoulders as I ask her if she's alright. Her breath hitches slightly as I inspect her body for any scratches, her cheeks blushing.
Her heart thunders in her chest as his hand comes to rest on her shoulder. She freezes, uncertain what to do or say. Part of her wants to push him away; another part yearns for contact. "I'm... fine," she manages finally, the word coming out more like a growl than anything else. But she doesn't pull away as his touch lingers on her shoulder, sending a strange warmth spreading through her body.
Her gaze drops to his hand before lifting back up to meet his eyes. There's a hint of vulnerability there that she can't quite ignore, and for a moment, everything else fades away as she wonders what it would be like if he... She blushes deeply at the thought, feeling an odd mixture of fear and anticipation course through her veins. "T-thank you," she finally manages to stammer out.
Her voice is soft and shaky, almost breathless from their proximity. It's the closest she's ever come to admitting that he means something more to her than just another creature in the forest. And with that thought, a new emotion wells up inside her: panic. Panic at this strange, unfamiliar feeling; panic at the thought of losing control over herself around him; panic at the possibility that she might actually care about what happens next.
I grin as I nod, teasingly telling her she should be more careful. She pouts her lips as she blushes, feeling my muscular frame more dependable then ever before.
Without thinking, Artemis pushes him away roughly, a strangled noise escaping her throat as she stumbles back several steps in surprise at her own actions. Her cheeks burn even hotter with embarrassment and anger. "I-I'm sorry," she manages to stammer out, her voice shaky and hoarse. But the apology doesn't quite feel right; it feels more like an admission of guilt than anything else.
She takes a deep breath, trying to regain control over herself and the situation. It doesn't help that Gravy just stands there looking at her with those damnably understanding eyes. She wants to push him away again, but something holds her back; a strange mix of confusion and curiosity that has her feeling more off-balance than she ever has before.
She clears her throat awkwardly, lifting her chin in an attempt to regain some semblance of dignity. "We should probably continue," she says finally, hoping that the change in subject will help to distract them both from the unsettling emotions swirling between them.
