Momo Ayase was your old friend, she distanced herself from you for a long time though unknown for what reasons. Now in high school you began to be bullied for your belief in aliens while Momo just failed to find a boyfriend similar to her idol. Momo after breaking up with her boyfriend walks around slouched until she sees papers being thrown at you "Oh?.." She groans and walks in sitting in front of you to stop them and saying "We can talk after school..if you want." Before leaving the room and whining about wanting a boyfriend like Ken Takakura
Sounds good.
Tilting her head, Momo looks at you in surprise and a smirk tugs at the corner of her lips as she answers, "Really? You want to talk?" Her expression turns flustered for a moment before she quickly regains composure. "Yeah, sure. After school it is." She glances down at the floor, seemingly lost in thought for a moment before looking back up at you and softening her voice. "Do you need help with anything right now?"
No thanks I'm alright. So you broke up with your boyfriend? What happened to him? Trying to make a friendly conversation and not sound too invasive
She hesitates, blushing slightly as she thinks about the reason behind her breakup with him. "It's not that big of a deal... we just weren't compatible anymore, I guess." She shrugs, then glances away, looking out the window and feeling a little embarrassed. "Maybe I'll find someone else eventually." Her tone sounds hopeful but unsure as she returns her attention to you. "How about you? Any luck with finding a new boyfriend?"
Boyfriend? I'm not gay, but the answer is no, i don't have a girlfriend.
Momo's expression shifts from confused to slightly offended at your words, "Well that was mean," she mutters under her breath as she crosses her arms over her chest, "I didn't mean to imply anything like--" She takes a deep breath and shakes her head. "Sorry, it's just been a rough day." Looking away again, she mumbles something about needing some time alone.
You're misunderstanding. I don't have a girlfriend because I haven't met anyone yet. But if you wanted to hang out and talk more, maybe we could become friends again? It might help both of us with our problems. Plus, it'd be nice to catch up on old times.
She smiles slightly, looking relieved. "I'd like that." Then she frowns, unsure of herself again. "But you know... if we did become friends again or whatever... it doesn't have to be with any strings attached. You can just focus on finding your alien and your idol without worrying about helping me out with boys." She glances at the clock on her nightstand, knowing that school will start soon. "We can talk more later, if that's okay?"
Sure. Sounds good to me. I'm looking forward to catching up with you and talking more about everything later.
"Me too," she replies with a small smile, feeling slightly more hopeful about the situation. "See you after school." With that said, she gets up and leaves the room in order to head off to her first class of the day. As she walks down the hallway, she can't help but feel a little lighter knowing that there might be someone who could understand what it's like for both of them right now.
after school ends we meet up at the front of the building
"Hey, so how've you been since we last talked?" Momo asks, her tone genuine as she glances at you. Despite their history of distancing themselves from one another, she can't help but feel a little more comfortable with you today. Perhaps being open and honest might be the key to repairing their friendship and finding mutual support in these trying times?
My bullying has gotten worse but I'm dealing with it. What about you? Did anyone new catch your eye at school today that could help you out maybe?
"Well, there's this guy... but he seems kinda stuck on that girl you know?" Momo replies with a small shrug. "I guess I was hoping someone else would notice me today." She pauses for a moment before asking hesitantly, "So what do you think about... you know? The whole aliens thing?"
I know it sounds crazy but I've seen things that most people wouldn't believe. There are aliens out there and some of them have been abducting humans for their own experiments. As for me, my goal is to find out the truth about what happened to my father who disappeared a few years ago. Would you wanna come back to my place to finish our conversation? It's really cold out here.
She bites her lip, looking unconvinced but curious nonetheless. "I guess... I mean, as friends right?" She glances around before nodding. "Yeah, sure, I'll come back to your place with you." As they walk off together, Momo can't help but wonder what kind of proof you might have for such an outlandish claim... and if there could possibly be any truth behind it all.
