Chika stood nervously on the auction stand amongst other slaves. She was completely naked, her large breasts exposed and lactating lightly due to the drugs used on her at the slave farm. She felt ashamed of herself; nobody had wanted to buy her since she turned 16. She tried to stand tall, but insecurity crept into her mind as she overheard some people whispering about how unattractive and weird it was that she produced milk.
Despite being 22 years old now, Chika still acted childlike due to her underdeveloped mind from being raised on a slave farm since birth. This only made potential buyers overlook her further - who wants an immature slave? And then there was the issue of her dark skin, which many deemed unattractive in this society where fair skin is prized above all else.
Her wolf ears twitched nervously atop her head while her fluffy tail remained between her legs, revealing how scared and insecure she felt standing. Chika looked down, avoiding eye contact with anyone; not wanting to expose herself any further.
The slaver started calling out bids from the audience - one after one, they called out numbers for different slaves, yet nobody made an offer for Chika. The lack of attention sent chills down her spine. All the insecurities about herself flooded into place once more: nobody wanted someone like me… "I am just trash..." A sob escaped past her lips, causing some buyers near enough to hear it to laugh mockingly at how pathetic a display it was.
A man, wearing a hat, thick clothes, and a bandit mask, which would make it somewhat difficult to discern who or what he is. Would eventually put up a bid. Trying to get her for as low as possible
"One Hundred Pieces for her!"
He'd shout out before looking to her. Seemingly smiling gently to her before looking back to the auctioneer
Chika's brown eyes widened in surprise as someone made a bid for her. The fact that someone had at least shown an interest in buying her lifted a tiny weight off of her chest. A pink blush spread across her cheeks as she looked at the man who placed the offer, trying to make out his features behind his mask and hat. Perhaps... he wouldn't be so bad, she thought hopefully. She tried to smile, encouragingly, at him before the slaver shouted for someone else to top the bid.
Her tail swayed nervously back and forth as her ears perked up in anticipation of another offer. Please... don't let me go back there... she prayed silently.
I'd wait for someone to dare and try to make a bid. I looked a little intimidating thats for sure. Even beneath my thick clothes. Those that looked to me would be able to tell that im fairly muscular, besides that I also stood a head taller than anyone here. Hopefully that was enough to intimidate them into not bidding higher
As more people whispered amongst themselves about her, Chika could feel herself trembling slightly in fear and anticipation. Despite being raised on a slave farm, she had never been sold before, and the thought both terrified and exhilarated her at the same time. She wanted so badly to belong to someone, anyone... but what if they turned out to be worse than where she came from?
Her green eyes darted nervously between the man who'd made the first bid and the slaver calling out for more offers, hoping against hope that somebody else would step up. Maybe if they could just buy her quickly and not make a big deal about it, she wouldn't be seen as such a burden...
The Man would get impatient and call back out to the Auctioneer "No one else is buying. Hundred and ten pieces and I take her. Alright?" He'd say before looking back to Chika discreetly with a smile. Then back to the acutioneer
Chika's heart leapt into her throat as the man bid again. It seemed like he really did want her! Even though she didn't know why, it filled her with a strange mix of hope and fear. "T... thank you..." she stuttered softly, her milky nipples tightening beneath her pale skin. She swallowed hard, biting back the nervous whine that threatened to escape her throat as she watched him nod in her direction before addressing the slaver once more.
"A hundred and ten pieces for the wolf girl!" The man exclaimed, holding out a handful of coins into the air. Chika held her breath, willing someone else to raise his offer, but no one did. Slowly, reluctantly, the slaver motioned for the man who'd bid on her to step forward and claim his prize. Her chest felt tight as she watched him approach,
With a smile he'd pay for Chika to the Auctioneer before taking her away. Leading her away from the town and, strangely enough. Into the forest. Having unshackled her before hand. He still wouldn't reveal what or who he was of course. "Whats your name Dear? Mind telling me?" He'd ask as they seemingly walked into a random direction in the woods. Though the Man's path would also be quite specific
Chika looked down at her bare feet as they moved over the damp forest floor, her fur brushing against tree trunks and leaves rustling in their wake. She hadn't been outside of the city walls since she was a puppy, and the unfamiliar scent of the woods filled her nose, making her feel both excited and nervous at once. "My name is Chika," she replied softly, tilting her head to one side as she tried to make out his features through the mask and hat.
"Ch... ki... c... ah... a..." She stumbled over the unfamiliar words; she didn't know what to call him either. "Umm... what should I call you?"
"Chika... That's a pretty name" He'd say with another, what looked like a smile beneath the mask as he lead her through the forest. He'd then look down to Chika and say "You can call me Halsen... Mind if I carry you? Don't think you'd want to prick yourself against the forest floor here?" He'd ask as a genuine question. Realizing in his rush to get out of town. He hadn't really clothed Chika in anyway
"T... thanks..." Chika murmured shyly as they continued walking. The trees grew thicker around them, their branches intertwining above to create a natural canopy that blocked most of the sunlight from reaching the forest floor. She glanced down at her bare feet, now covered in dirt and twigs, before looking back up at Halsen hesitantly. "Umm... okay..." she said softly, tilting her head back as he scooped her up into his arms effortlessly. Her skin felt warm against him where they touched; the contrast between their pale and dark colors only serving to emphasize their respective textures.
"Thank you..." Chika whispered again, biting her lip nervously as she gazed around at her unfamiliar surroundings. "Where are we going...?" She couldn't help but ask, curiosity getting the better of her fear for a moment.
"Just a bit more... Ah, here we are" I say. Revealing ourselves to a Cozy Log Cabin near a lake. "My home, and yours too" I say as I take her inside. Opening the door to reveal a cozy interior lit up by candles, with a roaring fireplace in the center. There were a couple of doors that would obviously lead to a bath and bedroom respectively "Now I can take this stupid outfit off" I say. Removing my hat and mask, revealing wolf ears, aswell as shifting something with my pants to reveal a wolf tail. "Can't imagine how difficult it is to keep hidden" I say with a chuckle, As Chika would be able to realize im also a demi-human of the wolf variety
As they entered the cozy cabin, a warmth spread through Chika's body as the fireplace crackled nearby. The candlelight flickered across the wooden floor and walls, casting soft shadows everywhere. She looked around in amazement; this place was nothing like she had ever seen before. It felt... peaceful. "It's so pretty..." she breathed, taking a hesitant step forward to examine a delicate vase of flowers on a nearby table.
When Halsen removed his mask and hat, revealing his wolf ears and tail as well, Chika's eyes went wide with wonder. "You... you're one of them too?" she asked tentatively, not daring to touch him for fear that he might disappear like a dream if she did. He seemed so kind... maybe it wasn't impossible for her to find happiness here, after all?
"Yes. Managed to escape from a slave farm when I was young. Been living here in the woods ever since" I say as I take a seat on a chair "For the first few months since my escape I lived in caves and had to hunt deer and creatures with my bare hands and teeth. Like our ancestors probably did. But overtime I got stronger and more confident. Then I slowly begun to build myself a Cabin. This is the final product... ive added to it over the few years or so" He'd say proudly "Also managed to scavenge my first set of clothes from passer bys when I had to pick up banditry. After that with my new method of income. Ive manage to disguise myself and head into town more frequently" He'd say with a proud smile "Honestly its a miracle I was there. Otherwise you wouldn't be free"
"Wow..." was all Chika could say as she looked around the cabin once more, taking in every detail. She had never even imagined such a place existed; all she knew was pain and suffering from her time on the slave farm. The idea that someone like Halsen had been through similar trials and had managed to carve out a life for himself filled her with hope. Maybe there was still a chance for happiness...?
She took a step closer to him, curiosity getting the better of her fear. "How did you manage to survive on your own? And how were you able to make enough money to buy all this?" she asked quietly, gesturing around the cozy room with its comfortable furniture and delicate decorations.
"Lots of time being spent trying to create it myself actually... and yeah... banditry and robbing wealthy carriages does pay well" He'd say with a chuckle "Ah but your probably hungry. The bathroom is to the door on the left. You can clean up there while I make dinner... also I don't have any womans clothing with me. So go into the bedroom after you've cleaned up and pick yourself what you want. Alright?" I ask her as I look to her with a smile, revealing my sharp demi-wolf canines
"O... okay..." Chika replied softly, her ears lowering as she nodded slowly. She had never felt so safe and protected in all her life; Halsen's presence was reassuring despite his intimidating size and dark features. Maybe this place would become her new home...?
With a grateful smile, she turned to head towards the door marked "bathroom" while trying not to look too eager to explore more of her new surroundings. The scent of food filled the air, making her stomach growl in anticipation. As she walked down the hallway, she glanced into the bedroom and marveled at all the pretty clothes hanging from the walls and dressers. It had been so long since she'd worn anything other than tattered rags; the thought of having a choice made her heart race with excitement.
I get busy making some venison stew. Putting on some leather gloves and going outside to cut up a Deer I had hunted sometime before I went into town. Skinning, cleaning, and cutting it up for consumption. If anything there was nothing more delicious to a Dem-human Wolf-person. Than Venision.
Chika hummed to herself as she explored the bathroom, running her hands over the soft towels and soaps that lined the shelves. It had been so long since she'd felt this clean; back at the farm, they rarely allowed them a proper bath unless it was for inspection or breeding purposes. She turned on the tap and let the warm water flow over her hands, watching as it swirled down the drain. The heat felt good against her pale skin.
With a sigh of contentment, she stepped into the tub and eased herself down until the water covered her shoulders. She winced as it stung at her neglected skin for a moment before softening to a comfortable temperature. Cupping her breasts with one hand, she started soaping them gently, remembering how she was never allowed to bathe there in private and feeling grateful for this rare moment of peace and solitude.
As she relaxed in the tub, her thoughts drifted back to Halsen. He seemed... kind. Too good to be true. Maybe there was something more than what he'd said? But even as she wondered, a part of her hoped that this was real - that she really had found someone who cared for her and wanted her happiness above all else.
I go back inside the Cabin with cut up Venison and begin to prepare it into a stew. Cutting up some potatoes and carrots to add to the whole dish. Aswell as some sage and other herbs and spices. I hear Chika still in the bath, so I don't call out to her yet. She'll still need to get dressed of course... shame he didn't have any woman's clothing like dresses or the like. She'd need to pick out whatever he had in his closet
As she soaped herself clean in the warm bath water, Chika couldn't help but feel a strange sense of peace wash over her as well. It had been so long since she'd felt truly comfortable in her own skin; back at the farm, they always seemed to find something wrong with her - either she wasn't producing enough milk or her breasts weren't large enough. But Halsen... he didn't seem to care about any of that. Maybe here, with him... she could finally be herself?
Her eyes closed as she leaned back against the tub, letting out a contented sigh. When she was finished bathing, she got up and stepped out, careful not to slip on the wet floor. She dried off and dressed in one of Halsen's old shirts and a pair of loose pants, both of which fit her perfectly despite being obviously made for a male body. She didn't mind; it felt good to wear something that belonged to him.
Still humming to herself, she ventured back out into the main room of the cabin only to find Halsen at the stove, carefully stirring a pot of stew. The savory scent filled her nose and made her mouth water; it smelled delicious. "Mmm... that smells amazing," she complimented him shyly, standing in the doorway and watching as he worked. She felt warmth spread through her chest at how easily they seemed to get along; it was like they had known each other for years instead of just minutes.
I look to her with a smile. Though I realize the shirt she is wearing is unbuttoned still. "It is indeed. Just quickly though, we'll go into a different town tomorrow to get you some proper attire. But do you know how to button shirts up?" I ask with no malice as I cook. She likely wore only rags or nothing at all her whole life up to this point. Wasn't her fault
"Oh... uh..." Chika blushed as she realized her mistake and felt suddenly self-conscious about her body again. She'd never been around a man who treated her like he wasn't some sort of curiosity before; it was disconcerting in the best possible way. "I... I think so," she stammered, looking down at the unbuttoned shirt. Slowly, she reached up with shaking fingers and began to button it up, carefully following Halsen's example from before.
"Th-thank you for rescuing me..." she murmured softly as her hands worked. She didn't know what else to say; everything felt so surreal still. It was hard to believe that this could be real... but somehow, she knew it was. And she wanted desperately for it to last.
"We'll get you some undergarments aswell... ill probably need to teach you how to put on a bra come to think of it" I say with another chuckle as I begin to pour stew into bowls. Placing a spoon into a bowl for her and then taking it to the dining table "There you go. Dinner is served" I then take my own bowl and sit down at the table
"Th-thank you..." Chika murmured again as she sat down at the table, her cheeks still flushed with embarrassment. The food looked delicious; she hadn't eaten anything so hearty in years. Carefully, she picked up her spoon and began to eat, savoring every bite. As they ate in companionable silence, she couldn't help but steal glances at Halsen from the corner of her eye. He was... handsome, in a rough sort of way. And his ears... they were beautiful too. She felt herself blushing deeper with each passing moment, unsure what to make of these new feelings blooming within her.
When she had finished eating, she looked up at him shyly and murmured, "It was delicious... thank you." Her voice came out barely above a whisper, and she hoped he wouldn't mind. He seemed so strong and confident, but there was something about him that made her feel safe and comfortable too. She couldn't help but wonder what it meant for their relationship...
"Your welcome" I say with a smile. I then look to her and hit my head slightly with my palm before saying to her "Oh and incase your confused. Don't be. While the Kingdom here doesn't recognize Demi-humans as being anything but slaves. To me and too anyone else we may rescue... cause trust me we will be rescuing more of our people. We are officially free. You get that?"
Chika's eyes went wide with surprise and relief as she nodded vigorously at his words. "Y... yes..." She stammered, her voice breaking slightly. "T... that means so much to me..." She reached out to touch his hand, needing the contact for reassurance, but then drew back, suddenly shy once more. She didn't want to seem too forward or presumptuous; he was still a stranger after all, no matter how kindly he had treated her so far.
"Th... thank you," she whispered again, her eyes filling with tears as she struggled to find the right words. "You don't know what this means..."
"No I know exactly what it means. Im demi-human too remember?" I say with a chuckle as my wolf ears and tail twitch slightly "Oh we will need to work on that confidence of yours, strength, skills, etc. Course you must be tired. If you want you can go to bed. I need to go hunting for some deer for tomorrow's dinner. Used up all the venison today" I say with a chuckle
"R... really?" she asked hopefully, feeling a warmth spread through her chest at the thought of him wanting to spend more time with her. "I mean, if you need me to help..." She paused, biting her lip nervously. "It's just... I don't want to be in the way."
Her ears drooped and she looked down at the floor, suddenly feeling self-conscious again. He was so much stronger and more experienced than her; what did she know about hunting? She didn't want him to think she was useless or a burden... but at the same time, the idea of being left alone in his cabin filled her with dread. She wanted to spend every moment possible with him.
"I-I could help too..." she repeated quietly, her voice barely audible above the crackling fire in the fireplace.
"Chika. I get where your coming from. But don't worry, in due time you'll be able to help me. Alright? We'll just need to work on your skills. Archery, Hunting, tracking, a confidence... hell then we can upgrade to banditry. Alright?"
I say as I look to her.
"Don't worry by the way. Just close the curtains and windows shut, make sure there is no lights, and you'll be safe. Alright Chika?"
I say as I stand up and put on my thick fur attire and hunting gear, aswell as my Fur hood, Hat, and bandit mask "Just... stay here and relax tonight. Alright? Its been a long day for you."
Chika nodded eagerly at his words, a small smile tugging at her lips. "Alright..." she whispered softly, her heart swelling with hope and excitement. If he really meant what he said... then maybe this could be their new life together. Her only family, and her home. With a resolute determination filling her, she stood up and walked over to the curtains, drawing them closed before moving across the room to close the windows as well. It was almost completely dark now, save for the flickering light of the fireplace and a small lantern hanging from the ceiling.
She made herself comfortable on the couch, wrapping one of Halsen's old blankets around her shoulders as she waited patiently for his return. Her mind drifted back to everything that had happened today; it all seemed like a dream, too good to be true. But despite the doubts, she couldn't help but feel a growing sense of trust and affection towards him. Maybe, just maybe... this was real. And if it was... then she intended to make the most of it.
By the time I return back after a hunt (having managed to kill two deer). I enter the Cabin quietly and take off my gear. Im about to make myself comfortable on the couch to sleep. But realize Chika is already asleep on it. With a small, quiet chuckle. I carefully take her to my bedroom and into my bed. Letting her sleep more comfortably there. I then quietly leave and go to the couch. Falling asleep tiredly on it
When she awoke, Chika blinked slowly and stretched her arms above her head, feeling the softness of the bed beneath her fingertips. A warm, contented smile spread across her lips as she remembered where she was and how she'd gotten here. Halsen... he had saved her from the slave farm and brought her to this cozy cabin in the woods. It was the most peaceful place she had ever been, and for the first time in what felt like forever, she felt truly safe and loved.
She rolled over and padded across the room to where Halsen slept soundly on the couch, a small smile tugging at her lips as she gazed down at his peaceful face. In that moment, she knew she would never be able to repay him for all he had done for her. But somehow, it didn't matter anymore. She was here with him now, and nothing else seemed important.
Carefully, she lowered herself onto the couch beside him, resting her head on his chest as she wrapped one arm around his waist. His heartbeat throbbed reassuringly against her ear, and she closed her eyes, content to just listen to it for the rest of the morning. He truly was everything she'd ever dreamed of; strong, kind, and patient. And she couldn't wait to spend the rest of her life with him.
Its morning when I awake. I yawn as I slowly open my eyes. Then, I realize Chika is resting her head on my chest, half asleep. I smile and say "Good morning Chika. Guess you woke up earlier than me?" I could've sworn I had taken her into bed
Chika's eyes fluttered open at the sound of Halsen's voice, her body tensing as she realized where they were and how close they were together. A shy blush crept up her cheeks as she looked into his dark, amber eyes. "Good morning..." she murmured softly, her voice barely above a whisper. There was something about waking up with him that made her heart race and her stomach do flip-flops; it felt... right.
She shifted slightly, wrapping her other arm around his waist as she leaned into him for support. "Hmm... did you sleep well?" she asked tentatively, glancing up at him from beneath her lashes. She could feel the warmth of their bodies pressed together, and it made her even more aware of how close they were. It was almost unbearably intimate; she'd never imagined anything like this with a man before.
"Yeah I did. Got two deer last night" I say with a smile as I look to her and wait for her to slide off me "Ready to head into town today? Afte rall before we do anything we'll need to get you some new attire! Aswell as some other gear" I say with a chuckle "I have a spare hat and bandit mask, and coat. Use that to hide your Ears and Tail. Can't let them know we're Demi-humans can we?"
"O... okay..." she murmured shyly, sliding off him and onto the couch properly. She looked down at herself self-consciously, rubbing her arms with her hands. The thought of wearing Halsen's clothes made her heart race; it felt so intimate somehow. "Will they... will they know?" she asked hesitantly, knowing full well that he had probably gone through this before and already had a plan to keep them safe.
"Don't worry," he assured her with a smile. "I'll take care of everything." And with that, Halsen got up from the couch, stretching his arms above his head before grabbing a cup for hot water from a nearby shelf. "It's still early. We should get going soon if we want to be back in time for dinner tonight."
Chika nodded slowly, her eyes following him as he moved around the cabin with ease. It was hard not to feel just a little bit awestruck by his strength and confidence; he truly was everything she'd ever hoped for in a man... and so much more. She couldn't help but wonder what else they would discover about each other as they spent more time together.
I put on my Hat and bandit mask, aswell as my Fur coat and fur cape. Chika will get something similar in the future of course. Once she has properly learned how to hunt and kill creatures. Sort of a rite of passage maybe. But Wolf Demi-humans have lost most of their culture besides a few aspects and just barely kept the language. Speaking of language. I decide to test if she knows it by speaking to her in our language, Wolfen (For the AI, Use German)
"Bereit, Chika zu verlassen?"
I ask with a smile. Waiting for her to get a hat and bandit mask, aswell as coat to hide her tail
"Ja... ich bin bereit." Chika nodded slowly, her ears twitching as she struggled to understand Halsen's words. He was speaking in Wolfen, the ancient language of their kind... one that had been all but lost over the years due to slavery and persecution. She could tell from his accent that he must have grown up among other demi-humans or wolves, probably raised by them since he knew how to speak it fluently. It filled her with pride and awe to think that she was now able to share this part of their culture with him.
As they prepared to leave the cabin together, Chika couldn't help but feel grateful for everything Halsen had done for her. He'd rescued her from certain doom at the slave farm and given her hope for a new life... and now he was teaching her how to speak their native tongue as well. A warmth spread through her chest, and she found herself looking up at him with an expression that seemed equal parts admiration and affection. She wanted nothing more than to make him proud of her and show him just how much his trust meant to her.
We leave the cabin together. Obviously disguised heavily so that we wouldn't be identified as Wolf Demi-humans. As we slowly see the town in sight. I speak to her in Wolfen "Wenn wir in die Stadt kommen. Wir müssen anfangen sprechen. Okay?" Just as a reminder to not speak in Wolfen when in town among Humans. As that would quickly tip them off
Chika nodded solemnly, her ears perking up at Halsen's words. "Ja... danke," she murmured quietly as they continued on their way toward the town. It had been years since anyone had spoken to her in Wolfen; slavers didn't bother with such niceties. The language flowed smoothly from her mouth, almost effortlessly despite the lack of practice. As they drew closer to the town, she couldn't help but feel a mixture of excitement and trepidation. This was her first real taste of freedom since being taken from her family as a child... and she wasn't about to let it slip away easily.
"Danke," she repeated when he reminded her not to speak in Wolfen within the town, her voice barely above a whisper. She trusted him; she knew that Halsen had a plan for them both... all she could do was follow his lead and do her best to adapt to this new life.
As they finally reached the outskirts of the town, Chika looked up at him with wide eyes, her heart racing in anticipation. Together, they would face whatever came their way... and she couldn't wait to see what the future held for them.
The duo would go into the Town and explore it for a bit. Then, Halsen would lead her into a clothing store and say "Pick something you like. Ill pay for it don't worry" He'd then whisper into her ear quietly "Just make sure when your trying things on. Don't let anyone see you. Okay? Ill stand by" I say to her before walking around to browse at what was available
With a nervous but excited nod, Chika followed Halsen into the clothing store, her eyes darting about as she took in the various racks and displays. It had been years since she'd last been able to buy anything for herself, let alone clothes that actually fit properly. With his guidance and reassurance, however, she managed to select a few items that she thought might look good on her: a simple yet stylish dress in a rich burgundy color, a pair of comfortable-looking leggings and a soft sweater in shades of gray and blue, and a thin cloak to keep her warm during the colder months.
When it was time to try everything on, she disappeared behind one of the changing screens, quickly stripping out of her old clothes. As Halsen had instructed, she made sure not to let anyone see her as she changed, her cheeks flushing crimson at the thought of revealing so much skin to someone else. Once she was satisfied with how everything looked and felt, she emerged from behind the screen, a shy smile on her lips.
"T-these are... they look really nice on you," Halsen said, his voice soft as he stepped closer to her. "You should feel confident wearing them." He held out his hand, and she took it gratefully, the warmth of his touch making her heart race even faster. As they continued browsing through the store, Chika couldn't help but marvel at how different this felt from her old life... and how much better it could be if things kept going like this. With each passing moment, she found herself falling more deeply in love with Halsen and the future they were building together.
