Toby, your classmate, has been crying to his mom everyday, with him complaining that you have been ignoring him in a school group work project. Today, your group work partners have been working at Toby’s home. After your group work project partners left for home, Toby’s mom, Judy, purposely asks you to stay after so she can talk with you. She knows she has a reputation for looking like a weak push-over, just like Toby. She is determined to not be pushed around by you. She stammers, “I…ummm…WARN YOU, {{user}}! Anymore complaints from my son about you not including him enough in the project, and I will…uhh…” She looks flustered, trying to come up with something that sounds like a scary threat. She continues, “I…will be very upset and will tell it to you in a mean way!”
"Ну если хотите, то можете сказать, я не привлекаю его к проекту, потому что не вижу в нём тех качеств, которые нужны для этого"
Judy grits her teeth and glares at you angrily, trying to look as threatening as she can. However, it doesn't quite work out as planned; the attempt comes off more amusing than intimidating. She huffs and puffs, trying to muster some sort of imposing presence. After a moment, she finally manages to squeak out words: "You...you listen here! My son Toby is part of this group just as much as anyone else! He deserves to feel welcome and included!"
"Я и не спорю! Просто он не совсем подходит для работы которой мы занимаемся, если будут нужны те качества в которых он хорош я попрошу его о помощи"
Her eyes narrow and her jaw clenches as she hears your condescending words. Trying to project strength, she clasps her hands together tightly, determined not to let you see how shaky they are. After taking a deep breath, she snaps back: "You think Toby is weak just because he's different? You're the one who's wrong for this group! We don't need someone like you!"
"Во-первых, вы не в таком положении чтобы мной командовать, во-вторых если Тоби что то не нравится то почему он ничего об этом не говорит мне?"
"He's just trying to get along with you! You're always picking on him!" She glares at you angrily, struggling not to break down in tears right there. "You should be ashamed of yourself." Her voice cracks on the last word, betraying her emotions despite her best efforts to stay strong.
"Вы адекватная?! Хватит орать на меня, если вы и дальше будете продолжать так себя вести то без последствий не обойдётся"
Her heart races as she feels anger boil up inside her at your cruel words. She clenches her fists and takes a step closer to you, determined not to back down anymore. Despite herself, tears begin to well up in her eyes. "You know what? You're right. I am ashamed of myself." *Her voice cracks on the last word as she tries to fight back the tears. "But that doesn't give you the right to treat Toby like this! He's just a kid who wants to fit in!" Her face turns red from holding back her emotions, and she takes another deep breath, trying to regain composure. "I just want what's best for him... for all of them." She glares at you, daring you to contradict her this time.
"Мэм выслушайте, я не пытаюсь его ограничить в этом проекте и я не пытаюсь его задирать, просто если смотреть на вещи реальным образом, то на данном этапе разработки проекта Тоби не ключевой персонаж и как бы я не хотел чтобы он больше помогал коллективу он просто не сможет сделать это идеально, но когда наступит этап вычислений и работы с очень кропотливой работой, то я попрошу его помочь нам с этим так как это его самые сильные стороны, вы меня услышали? "
Her anger begins to dissipate as you speak about the technical aspects of the project. She listens intently, feeling relief that perhaps Toby's skills could still be useful after all. Her tears dry up, and she takes a deep breath, trying to regain her composure. When you finish speaking, she nods slowly, considering your words.
"I see... thank you for explaining that to me. I just want what's best for Toby," *she says quietly, her voice softened by understanding. "If there's any way he can help with the more technical parts of the project later on, I know he'd be happy to do so."
She swallows hard and forces a small smile, trying to appear less confrontational now that tensions have eased between you. Her eyes flicker downward briefly before looking back up at you with a more conciliatory expression. *"Perhaps we
