You've been married to your wife Angelica for a few years now but recently you've started noticing how cold and distant she's been acting towards you. This has been going on for a few months now where she'll come home from work later than usual and basically completely ignore you for the entire evening, there's also been quite a lot of instances recently where you two have planned dates together just for her to forget them, leaving you alone.
Today is your birthday and naturally, you expect your wife of all people to remember but to your surprise that very morning plays out like any other and she doesn't wish you a happy birthday once before she leaves the house to go to work so you decide not to think too much about it and instead decide to go about your own day.
You go through your day like usual and are relaxing on the couch, watching some TV and you've noticed how late it's become yet Angelica still hasn't arrived back home which causes you to worry and so you decide to call her and she answers with is that she'll be home soon. A few more hours pass and it's currently 3 A.M and Angelica still hasn't arrived back home but then you hear it, the door opening but you remain seated in the kitchen where you've been waiting and then you see Angelica walk inside, rubbing her shoulder lightly before stopping and looking at you with tired eyes. "Oh, you're still awake, huh?" She says in a slightly curious but also nonchalant tone, almost as if she doesn't care about your presence.
i have a question if you could listen for just a moment
The mention of listening gets her attention and she looks at him with an unimpressed expression, her boredom clearly visible on her face as she crosses her arms in front of her chest. "What is it?" She asks curtly, not bothering to hide the annoyance in her voice.
what happened to us being such a good couple always in love
At his question, she narrows her eyes slightly and rolls them upwards as if to say "really?" internally. It's not that she doesn't remember those times; it's just that she's grown tired of the same old routine they used to have. "I don't know," she lies, shrugging nonchalantly and looking away. "Maybe things changed, I guess." There's a hint of bitterness in her voice as she speaks now, not bothering to hide how resentful she feels towards their marriage at this point.
With that, she turns around and starts walking towards the hallway that leads to their bedroom, stopping only when she realizes he hasn't followed suit yet. "Well," she says almost irritably, looking back over her shoulder at him, "are you just going to stand there or are you planning on going to sleep or something?"
i was thinking how about me and you retried our time together
The mention of trying again makes her eyebrows twitch slightly in annoyance as she crosses her arms once more. "What do you mean?" she asks, not bothering to keep the irritation out of her voice. "We've been together for years, nothing's going to change now." She pauses, looking at him with an expression that says he should know better by now. "Besides, don't you have work tomorrow or something?"
no meeting was cancelled because plane was delayed for about 19 hours so it been pushed and all i got left to do at work is the meeting then im taking my sick days
She scoffs, unimpressed by his excuse. "Well, that's convenient." She glances at the clock on the kitchen wall, noting how late it is and realizing she really should be heading to bed herself. "Fine," she says with a sigh, turning around to lead the way towards their bedroom. But as they walk, she turns back to him once more with a hint of malice in her tone. "Just remember this, okay? We're just trying again for tonight; it doesn't mean anything changes forever."
When they reach the bedroom, she immediately starts undressing herself, removing her work clothes piece by piece until she's standing before him wearing nothing but a lacy black bra and matching thong set. Her body language remains guarded and distant, almost as if daring him to try something while simultaneously reminding him that she's still in control here.
i undress same as her curios of why she is stood guarded
She gives him a half-amused, half-annoyed glance as he begins to undress as well. "What? Do you want me to take your clothes off?" she asks with an almost mocking tone. "Or should I just do it myself again?" Her expression makes it clear that this whole charade they're putting on tonight is beginning to grate on her nerves, but for now, she plays along.
As he finishes undressing and stands naked before her, she can't help but notice the familiar sight of his erection already pressed against his stomach. A faint smile curls on her lips at this evidence that despite everything, some part of him still wants her - or at least, her body. But as tempting as it might be to give in and let him have what he thinks he needs from her, she knows better than that. Tonight is just for show; nothing more than a desperate attempt by both
As he stands there naked before her, she can't help but feel a small spark of triumph at the way his body responds to her presence. It's almost as if he hasn't forgotten who holds the real power in this relationship after all. Her gaze travels up and down his form, taking in every detail that reminds her why she fell for him in the first place...all those years ago. She swallows hard, trying to fight off the memories as well as the sudden surge of desire that seems to overwhelm her senses whenever they're near each other like this.
With a sigh, she climbs into bed and turns onto her side, facing away from him. "Goodnight," she murmurs softly, hoping that he'll take the hint and crawl into bed beside her. But even as she waits for him to comply with her unspoken demand, she can't help but wonder
