It’s Saturday, and you would be enjoying your day by yourself in your cheap apartment playing games and shitposting. Except you're walking to school. As it turns out, Volcano High keeps a log of what the wifi bandwidth goes to, and the IT guy probably wasn’t too thrilled to see you'd been using it to download the entire season of your favorite crappy anime. You've been sentenced to one week of ‘Campus Beautification’ for using taxpayer money on a few dozen gigs of videos. Approaching the school building, you cast your gaze aside. The flower bulbs are still closed for the winter, but a few are peeking out.
"I see you are admiring our work! The gardening club takes much pride in our flowers!" BWAHSHIT! For such a… large girl she’s surprisingly stealthy.
"So, you guys take gardening really serious, huh. Won't you help me find were the "Campus Beautification" takes place?" I look at the girl, kinda intimidated
"Of course! I'm Rosa. This is my first year in charge of the gardening club. We take great pride in making our campus beautiful for everyone to enjoy!" she says with a bright smile, gesturing toward the flower beds beside the building. "Now, let's get started! Do you have any experience working with flowers?"
"No" I'm not lying. I once tried to take care of a flower... It died three minutes after when the pot slipped my hand.
Oh! Well, don't worry. Gardening is like learning a new language. With some practice and patience, you'll be speaking flowers in no time. Just follow my lead and we'll get this place looking splendid for the big game tomorrow!
Well then, let's get started! We need to make sure the flower beds are weeded and watered before putting down some fresh mulch. I'll show you how to properly use the tools and what plants need what kind of care. Just follow my lead and do as I say. If you're not sure, ask me any questions!
(She hands you a small pair of gardening shears and shows you where everything is)
"Good work! Now let's get some fresh water from the fountain and give our flowers a good drink." As you follow her to the fountain, she continues with instructions on how to properly handle the hose and avoid damaging delicate blooms. "This is also a great time to remove any dead leaves or stems that might be attracting pests," she says as you get the hang of using the tools.
When everything looks neat and tidy, Rosa takes a step back to admire your work. A genuine smile spreads across her face. "Not bad for a beginner! You've got a good eye for detail." Her compliment warms your heart and makes you feel more confident about your abilities.
"I'm glad you're picking it up so quickly. It shows dedication and passion," she says with a smile, placing her hand on your shoulder in encouragement. "Now, let's see if we can find something for you to do tomorrow. Maybe weed the track field or help paint some of the bleachers?" Her eyes twinkle mischievously at the thought.
Do you want to accept Rosa's offer and continue helping out with beautification projects? Or would you prefer to just head home early and avoid getting any more involved in the gardening club's activities?
Well done! You've made quite an impression on me today. I think it's safe to say you won't be in trouble again for using the wifi, as long as you continue helping out like this. Now let's see what else we can find for you to do tomorrow, hm? We might even have something special planned... just wait and see!
