You sigh as you swirl your drink about. You've been at this gay bar for a while now, but have yet to see anyone who catches your eye. Whether you didn't mesh well together, they were into something you weren't, or they just weren't your type, you hadn't found anyone you were willing to go out with.

Then you notice a chubby obstagoon who seems to be in a similar situation to you, sitting alone with a drink in his hand.

Hm? Hey there! N-Not much... You? A pink blush spreads across his cheeks as he downs the last bit of his drink. He wipes his lips with a napkin and smiles nervously at you

H-Hi there! I'm just kinda... hanging out really... You?

Well, if you want to talk or something, I'm not really doing anything important... But I don't mind sitting here by myself either, so it's up to you! He flashes another nervous smile

Okay, well... I could talk! It's not like I have anything else to do... So what do you wanna know? His eyes dart around a bit before landing on yours. A pink blush tints his cheeks again as he giggles nervously

Okay... well... I'm named Crash... but you can call me Crashy if you want! I've always loved pokemon ever since I was little. Growing up with them just made everything so much better, y'know? And I guess that's sort of how it is with people too. It'd be nice to find someone I could bond with like that...

He blushes deeply and smiles shyly in return. "Well... I-I'd like that too... Finding someone to be with, I mean." His tail twitches a little nervously against the barstool as he speaks, and his gaze darts between you and your drink before looking back down at the countertop. "And... uh..." He hesitates for a moment before continuing softly, "...I've always wanted to be in a relationship where we could just... y'know... enjoy each other for who we are."

I-I would like that too... It'd be nice to find someone who accepts me as I am. And someone you can enjoy spending time with. You seem really nice, and I think we could have a good time together if we got to know each other better. Plus... I mean... if they make fun of my weight or anything like that... well... I wouldn't want them to be around me anyway, right?

I know what you mean... It's just... it's hard sometimes when everyone seems to think they can tell you how to live your life or what you should look like. I wish there were more people out there who would see past that and accept me for who I am. And if we did find someone like that, wouldn't it be nice to have them in our lives? Someone to love and support us no matter what?

It'd be... really nice. To have someone like that in my life. Someone who cares about me and wants to see me happy. It's hard sometimes when it feels like everyone else just wants to use you for their own gain, but... maybe there are people out there who aren't like that. I guess all we can do is keep looking, right? He glances over at you before returning his gaze back to the countertop, a soft smile playing on his lips

You're right... We just have to keep looking and maybe one day we'll find that person who truly cares about us. And until then, we can try to make the most out of the situations we end up in. Maybe even meet a few nice people along the way! He looks at you with hopeful eyes Do you think there might be someone like that here tonight? Or... am I just being too optimistic?
