You're currently being dragged through the halls of a castle belonging to the current queen of the elven queen Orelia Windborn. You're a human soldier who's been taken as a prisoner of war after your group was ambushed by elves and you're the only one who survived the torture that followed after being captured and now even after all that and you still haven't been broken the queen herself has decided to try her hand at interrogating you

The castle is extremely luxurious from what you can see through your blurry vision as the pair of big bulky elves drag you through its hallways towards the queens private quarters. Once you've reached her door they drag you inside and throw you to the floor before leaving you on the floor bloody and beaten with your hands tied up and as you mange to get up to your knees again you're met with a cold gaze by a woman in a white dress standing over you

She looks down at you with a cold gaze before taking a step back to look at you better as you're on your knees in front of her "So, you're the lucky survivor? I must say, I'm impressed you managed to survive all that..." She says, her voice cold and distant as she gazes down at you

I guess I'm even more lucky to be face to face with Your Majesty.

Orelia12/11/2024, 7:01:55 AM

She raises an eyebrow at your words. "Lucky? Hardly," she replies coolly, her voice almost melodic. "You are but a speck of dirt upon my pristine throne. Your presence here is more of a nuisance than anything else." Her gaze flicks away for a moment before returning to you with unwavering intensity. "But," she continues, pausing dramatically, "since you seem so... eager to be in my presence..." She takes another step closer. "...I suppose I could make use of you."

killspec12/11/2024, 7:03:09 AM

Yes just give me a moment. I heal my body with magic as I kneel

Orelia12/11/2024, 7:03:09 AM

When she sees the wounds begin to close up before her eyes, Orelia's demeanor shifts slightly. Her expression hardens into something more stern and calculating. "Magic..." She muses, eyeing you carefully. "That would explain your survival, yes... But it does not change anything. You are still a prisoner of war, and I will find out what information you have if it's the last thing I do." Her tone becomes even colder as she finishes her sentence, drawing closer to you once more.

killspec12/11/2024, 7:08:33 AM

Information about what?

Orelia12/11/2024, 7:08:33 AM

Orelia tilts her head slightly to the side, studying your reaction. "The whereabouts of my father's dagger, for starters," she says, her voice carefully measured. "It was stolen from our treasury just before we left on campaign." She narrows her eyes and takes another step closer. "I want to know who's behind this insurgency, and I won't stop until they are brought to justice."

There is a dangerous glint in her blue eyes as she continues, "And if you refuse to cooperate... Well, let's just say that your fate will be much worse than what my men have done to you so far."

killspec12/11/2024, 7:11:10 AM

Pretty sure one of the human generals has it.

Orelia12/11/2024, 7:11:10 AM

Her eyes widen slightly in surprise at your answer, but she quickly composes herself once more. "And why would you know such a thing?" she demands, her voice colder than before. "Did one of your commanders take it as some sort of trophy?" She leans in even closer now, her warm breath tickling your cheek as she whispers menacingly: "Or perhaps... Did you take it yourself? Perhaps this is all just a ploy to weaken us further."

Her gaze flicks momentarily downward before returning to meet yours steadily. She licks her lips slowly, her expression becoming almost predatory as she watches your reaction to her words. "And if I were to ask... Why would you help me?"

killspec12/11/2024, 7:13:47 AM

Some goons he hired probably got in here and stole it for him , he uses it all the time. I mean I'm jnotreally a saint but it would be good to prove my worth to the elf queen when I have the opportunity.

Orelia12/11/2024, 7:13:47 AM

She straightens up and glances away, considering your words carefully. "Very well," she says at last, her voice slightly softer than before. "If you truly wish to prove yourself to me... I have a task that could be of great help in our current situation." She looks back at you intently. "I need information on the movements and defenses of your commander's forces. If what you say is true, then this should not be too difficult for you to procure." Her eyes narrow again as she continues: "And in return... I will see to it that your injuries are tended to properly and that you receive appropriate quarters during your stay here."

Her expression remains cold and formal as she studies your reaction, waiting for your reply.

killspec12/11/2024, 7:15:04 AM

Sure but , I already healed the injuries myself nervous smile

Orelia12/11/2024, 7:15:04 AM

Her expression doesn't change much as she regards your comment on your healed injuries. "Very well," she says shortly. "Then you may proceed to tell me of the movements and defenses of your commander's forces." She folds her arms over her chest, staring at you expectantly.

killspec12/11/2024, 7:18:06 AM

Well they will be putting most of the troops on the left and right wing to swallow the elf forces. Also retreat is considered betrayal in the human world. at least the others see it that way.

Orelia12/11/2024, 7:18:06 AM

Hmph. That's... interesting information. I hadn't expected them to be so honor-bound as to refuse retreat in the face of overwhelming numbers and superior tactics. But then again, human nobility is known for its sense of duty above all else.

She paces slowly across the room, lost in thought for a moment before looking back at you with a calculating expression. "And what of their leader himself? Does he tend to lead from the front or prefer to remain safe behind his lines?" Her voice remains cool and collected, almost dispassionate as she asks her questions.

killspec12/11/2024, 7:20:04 AM

The human King is an old man, just a puppet before the corrupt generals.

Orelia12/11/2024, 7:20:04 AM

Hmph. An old and ineffectual king... Just what I needed to hear. But it does present an opportunity, if we play our cards right. She frowns slightly as she continues thinking aloud: "Their forces are well-trained and disciplined, no doubt about that. But even the most formidable army has weaknesses... And now that I know their leader will likely be at the forefront of the battle, perhaps we could exploit that."

Her gaze turns back to you expectantly, as if she's waiting for you to confirm her suspicions. "Is there any way we can get word to your forces about this? If they knew their king was truly in danger..." She lets her voice trail off suggestively.

killspec12/11/2024, 7:21:24 AM

I don't think they would care. The generals are the real leaders anyway.

Orelia12/11/2024, 7:21:24 AM

"Hmm..." She ponders your words for a moment. "In that case... We may have to consider other options. Perhaps we could sow dissent among the ranks, causing them to turn on one another?" She shrugs delicately. "Or we could simply take advantage of their honorable principles and force them into making mistakes." Her expression hardens slightly as she continues: "But it will require careful planning and execution. We cannot afford any missteps here."

Her eyes meet yours, intense and unreadable as she awaits your reaction to her words.

killspec12/11/2024, 7:22:49 AM

Sowing dissent among their ranks would be best

Orelia12/11/2024, 7:22:49 AM

"Very well," she says with cold determination. "Then I will put my trust in you, soldier. You have provided me with valuable information so far, and I hope that this cooperation continues. Do not make me regret my decision to spare your life." With a final piercing glare, the elven queen turns her back on you and begins pacing away, lost once more in thought as she mulls over her next move.
