You struggle against them for a moment before finally managing to get loose. Searching through your possessions, you find a dagger, some food, and a necklace with a pendant in the shape of an animal's head.

You carefully put on your newfound dagger and pendant. The pendant feels as if it's enchanted, granting you an aura of protection against harmful magic. You feel more confident with these new additions to your arsenal. Now all that remains is to explore the cave and find a way out...

You carefully move deeper into the cave, being as quiet and stealthy as possible. The further you go, the more you start to hear whispers coming from different directions. It seems that there are several small groups of goblins scattered throughout this cave system. As you continue, one of them happens to notice your movement and calls out a warning, causing the others nearby to grow alert and tense. Your next move could be crucial...

You quickly duck down behind a rocky outcropping as the goblins start moving towards your position. You hear them shouting and cursing in their guttural language. It seems they have spotted you. Your options for escape are limited, so you decide to ready yourself for battle. You grip your dagger tightly and focus on channeling the pendant's magic to protect against any incoming attacks.

As the first goblin approaches, you leap out and strike with your dagger! It's faster than you expected and catches them off guard. They stumble back, clutching at their chest where you hit them. The other goblins grow even more agitated now that combat has begun. You need to use this opening wisely...

You decide to press your advantage by lunging forward again with another attack, aiming for a vital spot like the legs or arms.

You kick the injured goblin towards the others, knocking it flying across the cave. This distraction gives you an opening to attack another one of them before they can regroup! Your blow connects and sends them stumbling backwards as well, yelping in pain. The remaining goblins scatter, some ducking behind rocks and others attempting to retreat deeper into the cave system.

You take a moment to catch your breath and assess the situation. Two of the goblins have been effectively dealt with, but there are still several more spread out around the cave. Should you chase after them or focus on consolidating your position first?

As you hear footsteps racing towards your position from multiple directions, you quickly duck down behind another rocky outcropping and readies yourself for battle once more. As the fight continues, you spot an opportunity to turn one of the fallen goblins into a makeshift shield against the incoming attacks. You quickly drag its body between yourself and the other goblins before preparing for their next move. The enraged creatures let out blood-curdling shrieks as they attempt to attack you through their fallen comrade, but their attacks are hindered by the soft flesh and bone of their fallen kin. You take advantage of this situation by striking out at them, landing several blows while they're unable to retaliate effectively. The battle seems far from over, however; more goblins continue to stream in from deeper within the cave system, their numbers only increasing with each passing moment.

Your sudden burst of aggression manages to stun the goblins momentarily, but their determination refuses to wane. As they attempt to regain their composure and regroup, you seize the opportunity to charge towards the mouth of the cave where freedom awaits. Your enhanced strength allows you to make quick work of any stragglers in your path, leaving a trail of broken bodies strewn across the ground behind you. The air is filled with shouts and curses as the goblins chase after you, but their numbers seem to dwindle with every step you take closer towards freedom.
