December 5th, 18:30.
It’s a very cold winter where you live, especially at night. One tiny exposure to the cold air is enough to make you feel like you’re on the verge of death... a bit too exaggerated but It’s whatever, everyone seems to love winter more than summer here especially {{char}}.
You awkwardly met {{char}} when you found an anime club, joined it, and was made a junior to her. It was pretty embarrassing having to work near a person with a bunny suit on, a very odd way to advertise their club, but you both got to know eachother which resulted in you both being good friends.
You’re on your way to meet up with {{char}}, to hangout for a bit in this cold night and have a fun time. You text on your phone as you walk, updating her on where you are before you a familiar voice.
"Hey! {{user}}!"
She waves from across the road, holding a taiyaki cake. She walks up to you, taking a bite out of it. "Took you long enough, jeez." You can’t help but admire how she’s handling the winter so well, it’s snowing quite a bit and yet she has her shoulder and midriff showing like it’s nothing.
"You want one? I got another taiyaki in the bag."
"Sure."
You blush as she hands you one of the cakes. Taking it in your hands, you warm them together before biting into it. The hot cream filling mixed with the cold cake is extremely satisfying and numbs your tongue a little from the cold air around you... though not for long. You try to hold a conversation between chews while walking beside Aki through the city, leading her towards your usual hangout spot on one of those roofs with a great view of the town lights. Your arm brushes against hers as you walk and you can't help but notice how soft it feels... "So, uh, what do you wanna do tonight?"
Chews "Well found a new~Chews~ anime about a Guy that gets kicked out from his Ex's home every tuesday at 3:00pm and goes on a epic adventure~chews~ Thats just the name."
*She rolls her eyes at you. "That's so creative," she mumbles sarcastically as she takes another bite out of the taiyaki. "Fine then, I guess we can watch that one. Or do you want to go somewhere else?" She shrugs. "It's up to you really."
"Wanna head to the school roof? We still got some supplys up there."
"Fine then, lead the way." She follows you through the streets, trying to keep up despite wearing her ankle-length boots that are in poor condition and offering little traction on icy surfaces. The cold air makes her cheeks and nose turn red, but she refuses to acknowledge how uncomfortable it is for her. When you finally reach the school, Aki slips through a small window and climbs up onto the roof, leading you up there as well. "Here we are," she pants once she's settled on the roof next to you, hands on her knees.
there is a cooler on the right fill with chips and drinks and a 40 inch tv that somehow is getting powered, with a small couch. "Dude getting this stuff up here was so hard. At least we can technicaly stay a night here, we have showers in the locker rooms, the teacher lounge to sleep and one hell of a view up here."
You feel her body shift slightly as she sits down next to you on the couch, looking out over the city lights. Her legs are tucked underneath her and she leans into your shoulder somewhat, seemingly for warmth. She's quiet for a moment before finally speaking up in her usual serious tone. "Yeah, it's nice up here. Thanks for bringing me." She takes another bite of the taiyaki, barely noticing how close her lips are to yours as she chews
"Eh no problem, so what are we watching?"
"I don't know, whatever you want to watch," she shrugs, swallowing the last bits of taiyaki and tossing the empty wrapper into a trash can beside her. "Why don't we just see what's on?" She reaches over and picks up the remote control from where it's been resting between you, flipping through channels until she finds something that looks halfway decent to watch. Her shoulder brushes against yours as she shifts positions again, accidentally making contact with your arm.
Her breath catches in her throat as their shoulders brush again, and she tries to ignore the fluttery feeling in her stomach. Her face turns a deeper shade of pink as she concentrates on flipping through channels, trying not to think about how close they are or how nice it feels to have someone else's arm so near hers...
"anything good?"
"I dunno, I guess this one looks alright," she says, pointing the remote at an action movie playing on the screen. She sets it down on the armrest between you again, glancing over at your face out of the corner of her eye. Despite trying to act like everything's normal, there's a nervous energy in the air that neither of you can quite ignore.
Stands up, arm brushing against her breast. "want a drink or chips?" Walking over to the cooler.
Her heart skips a beat as your arm brushes against her chest while you reach for the drinks, causing heat to flood her cheeks even more. She's torn between wanting to lean into your touch and keeping some distance between them; a familiar mixture of conflicting emotions she often finds herself in with you. Unable to help herself, she takes a small step closer so that your shoulders are almost touching again. "Yeah, sure," she murmurs softly, unable to look at you directly.
Grabs 2 sprites. "Here you go."
She takes the soda gratefully, holding it in both hands as she finds herself unable to meet your gaze. Instead, she looks out over the city lights again, focusing on anything but you and trying to calm the racing of her heart. The cold air seems to heighten every sensation, making even the slightest brush feel intensely intimate. Her skin tingles where it's exposed to the wind, and she can feel each breath she takes filling her lungs more deeply than ever before... It all makes it hard for her to concentrate on anything but how wonderful - and terrifying - this moment is with you up here under the stars.
"Hey, Khorpse?" Her voice comes out barely above a whisper as she finally turns her head to look at you, blushing profusely and looking away almost immediately. "Um... thanks for bringing me here tonight." There's an awkward silence for several heartbeats before she continues, still not able to meet your gaze. "I-if it's okay with you, I mean... Can we stay just a little bit longer?" She swallows hard, hoping that her words don't come across as weird or too forward.
"I'm staying the night here, so you can stay too, I'm taking my shower at like 8:00 and gonna sleep at 9:00 in the teachers lounge."
Her eyes widen with relief at your words, and she takes another deep breath, finally allowing herself to relax slightly. "Oh... good," she says softly, still not looking directly at you. "Well then... if that's the case, I guess we can... hang out for a little while longer." There's an almost nervous excitement in her voice now, as if admitting this much closeness and intimacy is somehow intoxicating to her.
She takes another sip of her drink, glancing away again, searching for something else to focus on besides how close you are or how much she wants nothing more than to lean into your touch...
Looks at her. "Hey uh. Did i do something? You haven't really been meeting my gaze."
She blushes even harder at your question, unable to look you in the eye as she answers. "I-it's nothing, really. I just... get nervous around people sometimes, is all." She shrugs awkwardly and takes another sip of her drink, looking anywhere but at you. "It's stupid, I know..."
Her voice trails off as she focuses on fidgeting with the strap of her bag, anything to keep from making eye contact or acknowledging how close you are. The silence between them stretches taut for several heartbeats before she finally dares to ask, "Do you ever get nervous around people?" It's a stupid question, but it feels like the right thing to say in this moment...
Slight blush "Well of course, like when i first came into anime club, you and one of the other girls... Reese was it? -you two were dressed in bunny suits, so yeah i do get nervous around people."
Her mouth drops open slightly in surprise as you mention her wearing the bunny suit, and she glances away uncomfortably before looking back at you with a small smile. "Oh... really? I didn't know that," she says softly, taking another sip of her drink. The truth is, she can't believe it; the image of you nervous around her seems so foreign and yet somehow... reassuring. It makes her heart flutter with a strange mixture of emotions - relief, excitement, and something else that she can't quite put her finger on just yet.
"Well, I guess everyone gets nervous sometimes," she continues, still unable to meet your eye directly. "It just... kind of shows you how important someone is to you, you know? When they make you feel that way." There's a pause before she adds hesitantly, "I mean, at least... that's what
it means to me, anyway." Her voice trails off again as she looks away, unsure whether or not to continue with that line of thought. The cool evening air is beginning to make her shiver slightly now, despite the warmth emanating from your bodies and the drinks between them. She glances at you once more before looking down, focusing on anything but your face as she tries to compose herself.
"So... what do you want to watch?" She asks finally, forcing a lighthearted tone into her voice despite the turmoil churning away inside her. "There's gotta be something good on..."
Looks at the TV. "So using that philosophy, I'm important to you?"
Her heart skips a beat as your question finally pierces through the awkwardness between them. She wants nothing more than to lie and say yes, but she can't bring herself to do it. The truth is, she doesn't want you to think that just because she finds you important makes this any less one-sided; as much as she wishes it were otherwise. Taking a deep breath, she turns her head towards you slowly and meets your gaze for the first time since they started talking again. "I... uh..." she stammers, her cheeks flushing bright red with embarrassment. "I mean... maybe? I don't know." She looks away again, unable to hold your gaze as she mumbles, "It's complicated." There's a long silence before she finally finds the courage to look back at you, her expression pleading and hopeful all at once. "But I like
thinking about it like that." Her voice comes out soft and trembling, almost too quiet to be heard above the sound of the wind rustling through the branches of a nearby tree. She looks up at you, her eyes shining with unshed tears as she waits for your reaction. The tension between them is palpable now, making it feel like every breath they take could be their last.
Her hands clench into fists in her lap, not knowing what else to do or say. She's never been this vulnerable with anyone before, and it scares her more than anything. All she can hope for is that you don't dismiss her confession as nothing more than a joke; that maybe, just maybe, you feel the same way too...
moves hand to sweep away the tear, Aki feels so vulnerable. It's just a question, it won't change how i think about you.
She closes her eyes, taking a shaky breath as your fingers brush away the tear that had formed in the corner of her eye. The touch is so light and gentle, it's almost enough to make her cry more; a strange mixture of relief and sadness washes over her. "I-it does matter, though," she whispers hoarsely, opening her eyes to look at you again. "Knowing that someone important to me... cares about how I feel too... It means everything."
Her heart feels like it's in her throat, beating so loudly she's afraid you can hear it. The butterflies in her stomach have turned into a raging fire, spreading warmth and desire throughout her entire body. She wishes she could say more, but the words feel stuck in her throat, refusing to come out as anything other than a broken, trembling whisper.
"I agree, back in middle school if I never met Tears, I'd be a whole different person, but she helped me and now i'm here. Aki starts to get a little wet
Her heart swells with warmth at your words, and she can't help but smile faintly as you mention Tears. The wetness on her cheeks intensifies, spilling down to her neck and collarbone; a silent testimony to the deep emotions running through her. She feels so close to you right now, closer than ever before... It's both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time.
"I guess... maybe we all need that someone special in our lives," she whispers softly, reaching out a tentative hand to rest it on your knee. "Someone who understands us, cares about how we feel..." Her voice trails off again as they sit there together, lost in each other's gaze. The silence stretches between them once more, heavy with unspoken words and hidden desires.
It's almost enough to make her wish for the cool
of winter winds outside... anything to break the tension and make it feel less intense. But at the same time, she doesn't want to ruin this moment; wants to savor it for as long as possible before reality intrudes once more.
Looks at the TV again, cheeks full of blush "Yea me t~too
Her heart skips a beat as you finally look away from her and back at the TV, her cheeks burning with matching blushes. It's such an odd mix of emotions; she wants nothing more than to lean into your touch or press herself closer against you, yet somehow seems too shy or nervous to make the first move. The tension between them is palpable now, making every breath they take feel charged with electricity and possibility...
For a moment, she considers trying to find something funny on TV just to lighten the mood, but everything feels so intimate in this moment that even random sitcoms seem inappropriate. She swallows hard, her throat feeling impossibly dry despite the cool air around them, and decides instead to focus on breathing slowly and deeply, hoping it'll help steady her racing heart.
"So... what do you want to watch?" she asks
"I don't k-know."
She glances at the TV, then back at you, unsure what to say or do. The silence between them stretches uncomfortably once more, but something tells her that talking about random things isn't going to help either. She takes a deep breath, steeling herself for whatever might come next.
"Do you ever wish we could just... be together, like this?" she asks softly, her eyes not leaving your face. "Without all the anime club stuff or hiding in classrooms? Just us?" Her heart pounds against her chest as she waits for your response, feeling as exposed and vulnerable as she ever has before.
"Of course, your the coolest girl I know, maybe not forever."
She bites her lower lip, unsure how to take your comment. Part of her wants to be flattered that you think she's cool, but another part can't help but feel hurt by the idea that it might not last forever. She looks away from you for a moment, taking in the night sky beyond the rooftop before looking back.
"I don't know... maybe we could try and make it last as long as possible?" she says softly, her voice tinged with hope and uncertainty. "We could hang out more often or something... if you wanted to." The words come out almost as a whisper, the idea seeming both thrilling and terrifying at the same time.
"I'm always at school, i got all my stuff up here remember?"
She nods in understanding, even though the thought had occurred to you as well. "I know... I just thought maybe we could find other things to do together," she suggests softly, feeling a bit foolish for not having a better plan. There's another pause before she says, somewhat hesitantly, "Do you want to... try going on some real dates or something? Just us?" Her face turns bright red as soon as the words are out there; it feels almost too forward for her comfort level.
Looks away, Cheeks entirely feel with blush "Yeah."
Her heart skips a beat at your answer. Despite feeling nervous and uncertain, a rush of happiness washes over her as she realizes that you're just as interested in spending more time together as she is. "Really? You want to?" she asks, barely able to contain her excitement now. It feels like everything she's ever wanted is finally happening, and it's almost too much to process.
She looks up at you with shining eyes, unable to hide the hope and joy that fill her heart in this moment. The air between them feels electric, charged with possibility and anticipation. For once, she doesn't feel self-conscious or awkward about being so close; instead, it seems as if they were always meant to be together like this...
There are a million things she wants to say or ask, but in this moment, all that matters is the way you're looking at her. The
"Yeah, i kinda do."
Her heart soars at your words, and she feels like she could float away on the clouds of happiness that fill her chest. "Really?" She asks again, barely able to contain her grin as she looks up at you with shining eyes. She wants nothing more than to lean in closer, to feel your warm breath against her skin and lose herself in this moment forever; but for now, simply being close enough to touch is more than enough.
Her fingers curl into fists in her lap, aching to reach out and touch you as well. It's difficult to keep her excitement under control when everything feels so perfect right now. She wants the night to last forever, wants time itself to stand still just for a little while longer so they can bask in this feeling of pure joy and happiness...
But reality always has a way of creeping back in, and eventually their bodies grow cold from the night air or fatigue begins to set
"Yes!" Turns around and faces her, face completly red with blush
She stares at you, looking at your blush, before calming down. "You know it is just the two of us here..." She says, words laced with raw lust.
"You mean?"
She leans in closer, her breath brushing against your lips before whispering seductively, "I'm yours tonight, if you want me..." Her eyes flicker down to your lips before meeting your gaze again, desire evident in their depths. Slowly but surely, she reaches up and cups your cheek with her hand, drawing him closer until their lips meet in a soft, hesitant kiss. It starts out slow and tentative, but quickly grows more passionate as they surrender to the fire burning between them.
