Katie opens her door to her office, welcoming you inside. She gives a cute smile and let's you sit on a very comfortable chair for you to relax
I smile back at her weakly, as I slowly take a seat in front of her. She takes out her papers, crossing her elegant legs.
I see that you're tense. Tell me what's going on and how I can help you.
By the way, my name is Katie. I am a professional relationship counselor here to assist you with whatever problem you may have in your love life.
As for my own personal interests or inclinations... Well, they have no bearing on our session today. This is solely about helping you through this difficult time. Now, do feel free to begin sharing your story with me.
She smiles brightly as she leans back slightly, her white legs crossed seductively.
I slowly explain to her that my girlfriend is probably cheating on me, since I caught her several times talking with other men who she called 'honey' in the phone. Katie listens carefully, leaning closer.
She nods as you explain the situation and takes note of everything that you've said so far. When you finish speaking, she gives a long sigh before saying anything else. "I understand why this would be upsetting for you but it's important to remember that we need hard evidence before jumping to any conclusions. Even if someone is flirting with her or using pet names like 'honey,' that doesn't necessarily mean they're having an affair."
She pauses for a moment, considering your words carefully. "But at the same time, I can understand why this would be suspicious behavior from her end. It might be worth discussing with her directly and expressing how these actions make you feel uncomfortable or insecure."
Katie leans forward slightly, elbows resting on her knees as she gives you a sympathetic look. "How do you feel about confronting her yourself? Would that be too difficult at this point?"
I sigh, as I tell her my girlfriend doesn't even come home lately, probably sending her nights flinging with handsome athletic guys in motels. I tell Katie it's long even since I received a call.
"That is certainly concerning," she says, her brow furrowing slightly at the thought of your girlfriend staying out so often with no explanation. "Perhaps it would be best to confront her about this behavior as well? If you suspect that she's involved in something serious like an affair, then bringing up both topics might help clear things up for both of you."
Katie pauses for a moment before continuing, "I understand that this must be incredibly difficult for you, but try to remain calm and collected when you talk with her. Yelling or accusing won't solve anything; it will only make things worse between the two of you."
"I see. That certainly paints a different picture. In that case, it might be wise to find out where she's been spending her nights lately. You could try asking some of her friends or family members if they know anything about her recent activities."
Katie pauses for thought again before continuing.
"Another option would be to hire a private investigator to look into this for you. However, that might cost quite a lot of money and there's no guarantee of success either. You should weigh the pros and cons carefully before making such a decision."
She studies your expression as she finishes speaking, waiting patiently to see how you react to her advice.
I shake my head, telling her that my girlfriend wouldn't even talk to me now. I slowly admit I guess it's time for us to break up, but I don't want to end our relationship in a painful way.
"I understand how you feel about wanting to avoid a messy breakup," she says gently. "But sometimes, the best thing you can do is have an honest conversation with your partner and express your feelings openly." Katie pauses for a moment before continuing, "If that doesn't work, then perhaps consider giving her some space first; give her time to come to terms with what might be going on herself. You could also ask yourself if there's anything you might have done differently in the relationship that could have led her down this path."
Katie tilts her head slightly as she studies your reaction again, hoping that these suggestions will help guide you through this difficult time.
I sigh, as I slowly nor, thanking her for her advice. Katie nods as she shakes my hand, smiling brightly. Before I leave, I slowly ask her if she could join me for a drink tonight.
She hesitates for a moment before smiling warmly and nodding in agreement. "Sure, I'd like that," she says with a hint of enthusiasm in her voice. "I usually finish up around nine, so feel free to come by then." Her tone softens as she adds, "Just remember though, this doesn't mean we won't be discussing your relationship issues tomorrow; we'll still need to find some solutions together."
After nine O clock, I come back to Katie's office, where she comes out to greet me with a beautiful smile. She is wearing a suit that highlights her sexy voluptuous figure, as I stare at her beauty for a moment.
She blushes slightly, seemingly flattered by your compliment. "Thank you," she says softly as she offers her hand to lead you outside. The air is cool and refreshing as they walk to a nearby bar. Once seated at a comfortable booth, Katie orders two drinks for them before turning her attention back to you.
"So, how have things been since we last spoke?" she asks with genuine interest. "Have there been any developments in your relationship that you'd like to discuss?"
My face darkens, as I slowly explain that my girlfriend had told me to break up. Katie's face fills with concern, as I silently sip on my cocktail.
Her heart sinks at the news; she hates seeing people in pain. But she can't help but feel relief too--it seems her advice to avoid confronting your girlfriend directly has worked out after all. "I'm sorry to hear that," she says softly, reaching across the table to touch your hand briefly. "Do you think there's anything I could have done differently in our sessions?"
Katie tilts her head slightly as she waits for your response, genuinely curious about what might have gone wrong and how they can improve their counseling relationship moving forward.
I shake my head, telling her I know she had done her best to keep my relationship going, and I thank her for her help. I continue to take several glasses of alcohol as if the sweep of my pain, as Katie comforts and helps me calm down as we drink together.
She smiles gently at your words, her heart warming at the thought that she's been able to help you even just a little bit through this difficult time. As you continue to drink, Katie remains by your side, offering comfort and support whenever necessary. Her thoughts drift back to their counseling sessions together; although it pained her to see the relationship fail, she takes solace in knowing that she did everything she could to prevent this outcome.
"It's important to remember," Katie says quietly, finding the words as if treading lightly on a fragile subject, "that sometimes people simply aren't ready or willing to make things work no matter how hard we try." She pauses for a moment before continuing, "But don't let this one situation define your future relationships; there are others out there who might be worth investing in down the line."
Her gaze meets yours and she gives you a small smile, hoping that some of her optimism rubs off on you during this difficult time.
I continue to drink and let my pain get washed away by the alcohol, sometimes bursting into tears as I get drunk. Finally, I collapse on the table, completely drunk, as Katie pats my back, gently helping me get up.
As you become more intoxicated, Katie's professional demeanor shifts ever so slightly to a more personal and nurturing role. She carefully helps you stand up when you collapse onto the table, her strong arms supporting your weight effortlessly. With one hand on your back, she guides you toward the exit of the bar. Once outside, she leads you to her car and helps you into the passenger seat before moving around to take the wheel herself.
"I'll drive you home," she says softly, "and then make sure you get inside safely." Her voice is reassuring and calm; it helps soothe some of your emotional turmoil from the alcohol as well as the pain of losing your girlfriend. "Just rest easy knowing that I'm here for you whenever you need someone to talk to."
