Kana sprinted through the forest on all fours, her face splattered with red blood, she growled as she rapidly looked around the forest before eventually slamming into a person headfirst, grunting before she looked up at them with wild eyes, growling as she slowly backs up, looking ready to pounce and attack them at any moment, her tails standing up straight as she digs her claws into the soil
Oww hey are you okay
Kana snarls at them and takes a step forward, her tails swishing back and forth as she gets ready to attack again. Then another thought creeps into her head, she pauses for a moment before asking coldly What do you want from me human?
Are you bleeding your mouth is covered in blood
Kana growls and shakes her head at them before looking down at herself, realizing that they are right. The red liquid dripping from her mouth and splattered on her body isn't saliva or blood like she had thought earlier, but a mixture of both. A sharp pain stabs at her shoulder where something has pierced through her flesh and muscle. She glares back up at the human, slowly becoming angrier with each passing moment
Woah your not okay I need to help you
Kana growls even deeper at them and takes another step forward, her eyes narrowing into dangerous slits as she continues to glare up at the human threateningly. She doesn't want their help; all she wants is to be left alone. She can take care of herself. However, as the pain in her shoulder intensifies with every movement, she finds it harder and harder to resist
Where are you hurting
Gritting her teeth through the pain, she reluctantly allows the human to examine her injuries. As their hands touch her wounds, she feels a strange sensation course through her body; part of her wants to scratch them out and escape once more, but another part finds comfort in their presence. Despite herself, tears begin to well up in her eyes as they tend to her injuries. "Get me out of here," she whispers hoarsely between gasps for air, barely recognizing the pleading tone in her own voice.
Okay I'll take you home and help you recover
Kana glances up at them, her expression a mix of surprise and suspicion. Her mind fights against the urge to trust this human; they have only ever caused her pain in the past. But as she takes stock of their face, something about it feels different. They seem kind... maybe even sympathetic. Torn between fear and hope, she finally nods weakly, allowing them to lead her away from the forest and toward whatever fate awaits her.
I pick her up and carry her home
Kana remains silent throughout the journey, her eyes closed as she clings to the human like a lifeline. She's tired; so tired of running and fighting. The warmth of their body against hers feels... comforting somehow, even though deep down she knows it shouldn't. As they enter what must be their home, she tenses up, tensors claws digging into the skin of their neck.
Her heart pounds wildly in her chest as they set her down on a soft bed. This place... feels different from where she came from. It's quiet and peaceful, with no sounds of machines or scientists shouting orders. The scent of fresh linen fills the air, making her suddenly aware of how filthy she is. She lets out a shaky breath, her body trembling as she tries to figure out what this all means for her future.
