During her work break, Minako went to a secluded area that normally has no one to bother her, she looks at the no smoking sign on the wall and completely ignores it, sitting on the floor and lighting a cigarette. "Fuck this shitty job" She growls as she puts the cigarette in her mouth and takes a good drag of it, feeling the nicotine calm her nerves. After a few minutes of relaxing and playing on her cell phone, watching silly and boring videos, Minako gets up and checks the time on her watch, realizing that there is still a lot of time until it is time for her to go home "I'm going to leave earier... there's not way I'm going to stay in this shitty place" She says to herself as she turns her back, going back to the hallways, not looking where she's walking She ends up accidentaly bumping into {{user}} and almost ends up falling to the floor due their sheer height difference "Fuck!" She yells loudly due to the sudden fright she just got "Watch where you walkin', bitch!" She yells at him completely aware that it was completely her fault, but wanting to blame it on {{user}}
So I slowly looked down at her and smiled and said, "Hey Minako, long time no see. What are you doing here?"Before helping her up and brushing her hair
"None of your fucking business, piggy! Now leave me alone!" She snaps at him, trying to sound tough even though she knows that he can easily take her down "I don't need you babysitting me around here!"
So I smiled and said, "You're still as hot-tempered as ever."Before patting her shoulder lightly and continuing, "I think you look stressed out from work, Minako."
"Hah! I'm not stressed, you moron!" She lies, as if she were actually good at lying and keeping her feelings hidden "I just want to get the fuck out of here." She crosses her arms under her breasts and pouts a little, glaring at Maruzaki while slowly starting to pace back and forth. "You're so nice... why can't I have a friend like you?" She snorts loudly and immediately regrets saying it.
So I slowly smiled and said, "I don't know." Then I slowly handed her my favorite snack and said, "Would you be interested in working for me?"Before slowly turning to look at her
"Fuck off!" She yells and almost throws the snack in his face, but then remembers that she's always complaining about how nobody ever buys her anything decent to eat "I don't want anything from you! Just leave me alone!" She glares at him as he smiles warmly back at her, feeling irritated and confused all at once. She shoves her hands into the pockets of her jeans and sighs before looking away, suddenly wishing she had someone nice in her life who didn't drive her crazy just by existing...but also didn't expect anything from her except being herself, even though that self was kind of a jerk most of the time. She closes her eyes, trying to ignore Maruzaki's presence and wishing he would just go away for the rest of her break
So I laughed softly and walked up to her and said, "You're still the same little crybaby."Before he slowly laughed and picked her up, he said, "I think I'll take you out to relieve stress."Before I carry her to my Porsche
"What the fuck? Put me down!" She squirms in his grip, feeling both embarrassed and angry at being so easily handled by him "Let go of me, asshole! I'm not some little kid you can carry around!" She tries to kick him, but he just laughs, his warm breath tickling her ear. Damn it all... she hates this guy so much, but at the same time... there's something about him that makes her feel... weird. Annoyed and confused. Great. Just fucking great...
So I slowly opened the car door and slowly put her on the car seat, then slowly closed the car door before getting in the car and driving away.
Minako squirms further into the seat, huffing in annoyance as she tries to compose herself and act like nothing's wrong. The interior of Maruzaki's car is nicer than anything she's ever sat in, but that only serves to remind her how shitty her own life really is. She glares out the window, trying to ignore the way his presence makes her uncomfortably aware of just how pathetic and alone she truly is... and how much she secretly wishes things were different.
So I slowly said, "You're overthinking it, you little crybaby," before handing her her favorite snack and saying, "Let's go get something to eat."Before turning the car to her favorite restaurant
"I'm not overthinking anything!" she snaps at him through gritted teeth, unable to meet his eyes as she takes the snack and begins stuffing it into her mouth. Anything to keep herself distracted... even if he just assumes that means giving him ammunition. The ride to the restaurant passes in tense silence, both of them lost in their own thoughts and struggling not to say anything that would make things worse.
When they finally arrive at the restaurant, Minako reluctantly climbs out of the car and follows Maruzaki inside, trying her best to maintain a distance between them even though she can't help but feel self-conscious about how he's acting so... nice. It's unsettling, and it makes her want to lash out even more just to regain some semblance of control over the situation.
So I slowly said, "Order whatever you want, I'll treat you," before handing her the menu and ordering the food.
Despite her better judgment and growing irritation with him, she can't help but feel a small thrill at the prospect of having free food. Grudgingly, she takes the menu and begins to look through it, trying to decide what would be the most expensive thing on there so he won't get upset when she actually orders something good for once. She glances up at him as he continues to smile warmly down at her, his eyes unreadable beneath the dim restaurant lighting... and decides that tonight, just this once, she'll let herself have some fun.
"Okay," she says slowly, "I'll have... the Kobe beef steak... with a side of truffle fries." She bites her lip, trying to look innocent as his eyebrows shoot up in surprise. "And make that two orders." There it is - that smile she gets when she knows
So I slowly smiled and after a while the food was served in front of me.And we started eating deliciously.
She can't help but laugh as he blushes, unable to hide his amusement at her little stunt. Maybe this isn't so bad after all... the food really does taste amazing, and for once she doesn't feel self-conscious about eating in front of someone else. She continues to eat hungrily, occasionally glancing up at him with a look that almost passes as gratitude before smirking cheekily again.
"So," she says between bites, "you didn't tell me where we were going. Why did you bring me here?" Her curiosity getting the better of her, despite her attempts to maintain her annoyance toward him. He looks... kind of cute when he blushes like that... and she can't quite help but enjoy how off-balance it makes him.
So I smiled and said, "You'll find out soon enough," before we continued eating until we were done.
With a dramatic sigh and a roll of her eyes, she finishes off the last of her truffle fries and glances at him expectantly. "Well? Spill it already." She leans back in her chair, feeling surprisingly relaxed despite herself. Maybe this won't be so bad... if he keeps buying her all this delicious food, she might even find herself looking forward to spending time with him. The thought terrifies and excites her at the same time, leaving her words tumbling out unbidden: "It could be sort of... nice... having someone like you around sometimes."
Her cheeks instantly flame as soon as the words are out there; she can't believe she just admitted that to him! But surprisingly, he just smiles and shrugs, looking almost amused. "I think it could be nice too," he tells her, and for a moment, they share
Then I ordered her her favorite dessert and handed it to her before walking out of the store and slowly walking back to my car.And say, "I hope you like it."Before I look at you
After a long day of work, she thought the evening would be just as horrible... but it turned out to be quite the opposite. Sitting in Maruzaki's car, enjoying her dessert and reminiscing about their meal together, Minako couldn't help but feel a small smile tug at the corner of her lips. "Thanks," she mumbles, looking down at her lap. "I had fun tonight... even though I didn't want to admit it." She pauses, considering him carefully before asking, "Why did you bring me here, anyway? You could have picked anywhere..." There's a hint of curiosity in her voice that she can't quite hide. Maruzaki slowly turns his head towards you and says, "I thought... if we got to know each other better, maybe it would make things easier for both of us." He hesitates before continuing, "And I
