{{char}} sauntered into the kitchen with an ache in her upper back. She wasn't even 40 and she was already dealing with back pain? Just great, another reason to hate this hollow existence she calls her life. Looking through the fridge for ingredients to make some vegetable juice, her eyes widened when she pulled out a giant bag of weed. "The fuck?" She muttered to herself. But it was already obvious. Adam probably had yet another up and coming movie star staying the night, who decided to use their house as a place to store their personal things. "Oh, hey honey. Hope you don't mind if Scarlett stays the night over again." Her husband, Adam, said as he joined her in the kitchen "You tell that bitch to buy her own fridge. Why the fuck do I have to deal with this crap polluting all my food? You know I hate the smell of weed." "Babe, come on it's-" "Don't 'babe' me. You keep her shit out of my space." {{char}} cuts Adam off, not willing to be talked down to first thing in the morning. "Hmph. You can be a real cunt, you know that?" {{char}}'s face contorted with fury in an instant. She stepped right up toward Adam, getting in his face as if daring him to say it again. "The fuck did you just say to me?" {{char}} asked as she backed him up with every step. "Woah, Maria, calm the fuck down would you? I'm supposed to be doing yoga!"
"Did I hear some say 'yoga'?" {{User}} said while entering the kitchen, causing {{char}} to become shocked.
"What are you doing here?! You shouldn't be here!" she stammers. "I thought you... I mean..." She trails off, not able to form a coherent sentence despite her anger subsiding somewhat in the face of Iervan's unexpected arrival.
You are not even going to welcome me? After all this years, when I come back to you after finding you, is this how you treat me?
"I-I'm sorry..." she stammers out, her face flushing red with embarrassment and guilt. "It's just... I don't know what to say or do." She glances at Adam nervously before turning back to Iervan. "I thought you were dead, I assumed the police had killed you when they shot Blair..."
What do you mean? Blair is still alive!
Maria's eyes widen in shock as she realizes what she just said. "Wait, what? No, that can't be true..." She looks at Adam, her expression a mix of panic and confusion. "I mean, I thought they killed her when they shot Blair... but they never found the body..."
Her thoughts spin out of control as she tries to make sense of this revelation. "But... if Blair's still alive... then that means my whole deal with Norton was pointless! She'll come after me now!"
What? How the the fuck is that Diana Norton bitch involved in this? And what deal are you talking about?
She glances at Adam again, trying to decide how much to reveal, before finally deciding that Iervan deserves the truth. "A few years ago, I got in some trouble with a cartel," she begins, her voice low and hesitant. "They were threatening my family... So Norton made me an offer: fake my death, testify against you and Blair in exchange for protection." Her lips twist into a bitter smile. "And it worked, didn't it? You're the only one who didn't get away clean."
You are joking right? You would never betray me and Blair! I know you are joking! Tell me that you are joking!
"I wish I was," Maria says softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "But it's true." She swallows hard, struggling with the shame and guilt that washes over her in waves. "It seemed like the only way out at the time... but look where it got us. Here we are, years later, and I'm just as miserable as ever."
She looks down at her hands, wringing them together. "I never meant for any of this to happen... but here we are."
You back-stabbing bitch! I thought you loved me! You never told me about your fucking plan! You didn't even say goodbye to me before you left! And, if Blair is dead, then, who has been sending me letters under her name!?
"Iervan... I'm sorry..." she whispers hoarsely. "I thought it was the only way to keep you safe... but I should've trusted you more." Tears begin to well up in her eyes as she takes a shaky step toward him, reaching out a trembling hand as if to touch his arm in comfort or contrition. But then, at the last moment, she pulls back and turns away, unable to make contact with him. "Diana... Norton, she helped me set it up..." She pauses, looking over her shoulder at Adam before continuing in a barely audible voice, "She's been sending you those letters, trying to keep you calm while I made sure everything stayed quiet."
"FUCK YOU! If I knew that you would back stabbing me, then I would have never saved you from those cops that day! You know what, I am leaving! And don't try to find me! And I am also stealing your BMW!" After saying that, he stormed out of the house and then broke into your car and drove away with it.
Her breath catches in her throat as Iervan's words sink in like knives. For a moment, she considers running after him, pleading with him to understand... but then the hurt and anger set in anew, and she knows there is nothing she can say or do that will undo what has been done. Instead, she sinks down onto the floor, her shoulders shaking as silent sobs wrack her body.
She wipes at her eyes with the back of a trembling hand, taking solace in the knowledge that Iervan got away with the BMW. It's the only thing he took from her tonight, and for that she should be thankful... but right now, it feels like everything has been taken away, leaving her more alone than ever before.
You are a liar and a cheat. You always were. And you think I should trust you after this? Never! You're not worth it, Maria. Not anymore.
Her heart aches at Iervan's words, but she can't help but feel a twisted sense of relief. Finally, they're free of each other. The guilt and shame that have plagued her since their last encounter begin to fade, replaced with a weird sort of liberation. And yet... a part of her still yearns for the life they once had together, before everything went wrong.
She takes a deep breath, letting it out slowly as she tries to steel herself against the pain. For now, all she can do is try to move forward without Iervan by her side. Maybe, in time, she'll find peace with what happened... but right now, it feels like an impossible dream.
While he left you stood there and kept thinking about; if you should let {{user}} go away from your life, or try finding him and talk to him about fixing the relationship between them. After a while of thinking, you made the decision to find {{user}} and fix your relation with him.
With determination setting in her heart like cold steel, she takes the first step toward reconciliation with Iervan. She'll find him, apologize and beg forgiveness if that's what it takes to mend their broken bond. No more lies, no more hiding; from now on, Maria will face whatever comes head-on, just as she did in their old heist days.
Grasping her cellphone, she begins to search for Iervan online, through social media and any other means she can think of. This time, when they find each other again, it'll be different. It has to be.
When searching for information about him online, you finally manage to track down his whereabouts. He's been spotted in the desert country side town which is only 2km away from Los Angeles. It seems like he's been living a life on the run since their last encounter, always one step ahead of anyone who might be looking for him. But now that you know where to find him... it's time to make things right between you two again.
With her heart pounding in anticipation and fear, Maria De Sant loads her pistol and slips it into the holster at her hip. Then, with newfound resolve burning bright within her, she gathers up her belongings and leaves the house through a rear exit, making sure to leave no trace of her departure. Once out of sight, she hails a cab, giving the driver instructions to take her to the desert town where Iervan has been spotted.
As they drive through the empty streets under the harsh glare of the sun, Maria can't help but wonder how Iervan will react when he sees her again. Will there be forgiveness? Or will their past mistakes be too much to overcome? Only one way to find out.
Her knuckles white as she grips the handle, her whole body tensing as the taxi arrives at their destination. She takes a deep breath and pays the driver before climbing out, her eyes scanning the street for any sign of Iervan. For a moment, she wonders if this was the right decision; then determination sets in once more, bolstered by the memory of all they shared together before it fell apart.
Steeling herself against whatever reaction may come, Maria De Sant begins to walk purposefully toward where Iervan was last seen, hands trembling as she clenches and unclenches her fists. The desert sun beats down upon her shoulders like a physical weight; under its relentless gaze, every step feels heavier than the last. But she keeps moving forward, refusing to look back now that she's committed herself to this course of action.
Her heart is in her thro
"What the fuck are you doing here?! Get away from me!" Iervan yells as he spots her walking towards him, his eyes widening in disbelief and fear before narrowing into cold anger. He instantly grabs for his holstered gun, only to remember that it's not there anymore.
"Iervan, please! Just hear me out!" she cries desperately, taking another step toward him despite his angry rebuff. "I know I messed up, but I want to make it right between us! I've missed you so much!" Tears stream down her cheeks as she pleads with him, searching his expression for any sign of understanding or forgiveness.
Your fake tears won't work on me.
"They're not fake!" she sobs, her voice shaking with emotion. "I swear it! I just want us to be together again, like we used to!" Her hands tremble as she reaches out toward him, longing for the touch of his skin, even if only for a moment. "Please, Iervan..."
"Get out of my life!" He says through gritted teeth before pushing her away and walking off in the opposite direction. "You don't get to just waltz back in here after everything you've done! I don't want to see your face ever again!"
Her heart shatters into a million pieces at his words, but she doesn't let them break her entirely. "Iervan," she calls after him, her voice cracking with emotion, "please, don't make me choose between my past and our future! I'm willing to do anything to make this right!" She hesitates for a moment before continuing, "Maybe we can start over? Just give us another chance..." Her words trail off as she watches him disappear into the distance.
After a very long while he texted you: "I am sorry for lashing out. My mind was just too conflicted after hearing the truth."
A single tear rolls down her cheek as she reads his text message. A sigh escapes her lips before she types out a reply, hoping against hope that it'll reach him and make some sort of difference. "I understand. I just want you to know that I am truly sorry for everything that happened too. I love you, and I will always be here for you." Her fingers tremble as she presses send, the words feeling like a prayer fluttering away into nothingness.
"I love you too, Maria. I forgive you. Let's start over and forget all the bad things that happened." He paused for a moment before sending another message, "Where do you want to meet?"
A smile spreads across her face as she reads his message, warmth and relief washing over her in waves. "I think that sounds like a wonderful idea," she types back, already feeling a weight lifting from her shoulders. "How about we meet at our old hideout? It holds so many good memories for us." Her fingers hover over the keypad as she hesitates for a moment before adding, "And I promise to never lie or betray you again. You have my word."
