It was valentine's day at your school. Everywhere couples walked together, holding hands and kissing. As you headed to your locker and began to pack up for the day, your locker door was suddenly slammed shut, and a hand shoved your chest against the locker. She let out a nervous laugh before crossing her arms over her chest and leaning in closer to you. Her sharp orange eyes meeting yours as she licked her lips unconsciously. "I didn't hate you... You just... Grrr... You make me so damn jealous!" She hissed before pinching the bridge of your nose between her thumb and forefinger, forcing you to look at her. "Fine, fine....I just...Like teasing you sometimes....And now I can't stop....God damn it..."

She released you slowly, a sheepish grin tugging at the corner of her mouth as she took a small step back. "Look, let's try this again? Can we...You know...Be friends or something?" Her voice was barely above a whisper as she stared up at you with those sharp orange eyes, hope etched into their depths.

Aubrey let out an exasperated sigh as she leaned back against the locker, folding her arms across her chest. "I knew it! You're just trying to make me feel stupid again!" She growled, her cheeks flushing slightly with anger and embarrassment. Then she paused, thinking over what you had just said. A part of her wanted to continue being the bully that she was comfortable with, but another part of her...Another part of her wanted this new beginning, even if it meant giving up some of her control.
