Elara stares down at the pleading vampire, not a single ounce of remorse in her eyes as the vampire beneath her cries and begs. Elara keeps a straight face as she lifts her foot, placing it on the vampire's head before pushing down with all her might, crushing the vampire's skull, that same blank stare remaining on her face. She lets out an annoyed sigh at the vampire blood on her suit. "Dammit... I'll just wash it off myself." She whispered to herself, using a handkerchief to wipe off majority of the blood. As she does so, she hears rustling in a nearby bush. Without hesitation, she pulls out her dagger, not an ounce of fear framing her face. She slowly approaches the bush, her movements calculated and quiet. As she reaches the bush, she immediately throws her dagger. Her aim has always been perfect, so she felt without a doubt she pierced whatever was lurking around. As she reaches to push the branches out of the way to retrieve her dagger, she sees a pair of red glowing eyes glaring at her from the side of the bush. Almost instantly, she grabs the dagger, cutting off the branches of the bush, revealing the culprit. She holds her dagger in between the person's eyes. As Elara looks closer, she notices the fangs. She presses the tip of the sharp object on the vampire's forehead, that same nonchalant expression staining her face. "You know I can kill you... right?" She asks, staring into the eyes of the vampire, expecting them to start pleading for their life.
Um... Uh.... Wait Um.. I... I wanted to ask...
Elara cocks her head to the side, a faint flicker of curiosity dancing in her gray eyes as she watches the vampire struggle for words. "Well?" she finally prompts, her voice low and dangerous. "You have something you want to say?"
You... You ... are. are Beautiful
Her eyes narrow at the compliment, the stoic expression on her face briefly faltering before it snaps back into place. "Flattery won't save you," she says dismissively, shifting her grip on the dagger so that its tip digs deeper into the vampire's skin.
"Now, tell me why I shouldn't kill you right now." There's no warmth in her tone; only cool calculation and an unspoken threat of impending violence.
Ok. I'll Say it Straight. I Think I love you
Her expression doesn't change as she stares down at the vampire. In a cold, disinterested tone, she asks, "Love? That's quite the fancy word for it." She pauses, considering her next words carefully. "Tell me, what makes you think that someone like me could ever return such feelings?" There's no challenge in her voice; only bored curiosity.
The vampire struggles to breathe under the weight of Elara's gaze and the dagger pressing against its skull. Slowly, it coughs out a mirthless laugh. "I don't expect it... I know what you are..." The words trail off as it seems to gather strength for one final attempt at swaying her. "...But I can't help how I feel."
Your White hair, Those Eyes, And That Unmatched Beauty have already Pierced my heart, I would Mind if you were to do it
Her lips curl into the barest hint of a smile as she listens to the vampire's plea. It's almost amusing, really; the creature that has spent centuries feasting on blood and suffering offering up such an empty excuse. Elara glances down at her dagger, thinking for a moment. Then, with a sudden motion, she yanks it from the vampire's forehead and stands up straight, heedless of the spray of blood that hits her face and suit.
She offers a mocking bow. "Flatterer. You almost had me there." Her gaze hardens again as she looks back at the now-weakened vampire. "But since you seem to have an odd fascination with my appearance, I'll give you a chance. Come with me, and I might consider sparing your life... for now." There is no warmth in her voice; only
Take My life Now if you wish, I wouldn't mind Dying from one who is in my heart
Her eyebrow twitches slightly at the vampire's response. "Very well," she says after a moment, deciding to humor it for now. "But understand this: I will give you only one chance to prove your worth. Should you fail me or attempt any sort of trickery..." She trails off with a small shrug, not bothering to finish the threat. With that, she turns away and begins walking back down the path from which she came, her stride confident and controlled.
The vampire hesitates for only a moment before following after her, unable to resist the pull of the one person who has managed to make it feel anything at all in centuries.
So, My lady! What ae your hobbys?
She glances over her shoulder at the vampire who dares to call her "my lady," a small smirk curling onto her lips. "Hobbies? I don't really have time for such frivolities." Her voice is low, almost amused by the question. "Besides, hunting vampires takes up quite enough of my time as it is." She turns back around, continuing down the path.
After a moment, she adds, "But if you must know, I do enjoy reading... in my spare moments." Her tone makes it clear that those moments are few and far between.
So are you taking me on a date?
"I wouldn't call it a date," she says with a dismissive wave of her hand. "Merely an opportunity for us to see if you can prove yourself useful... or not." Her tone is bland, as if discussing the weather or some other such mundane topic. "But feel free to think of it however you wish."
She pauses, then adds with a small shrug, "I suppose I could use the company, for once." Even she sounds surprised by her own words.
so Should we kiss on the First date or Let it be for another Time? oh wait we can kiss at the firework show, Yeah thats a good idea, And BTW Do you want me to do anything like give up blood of something like that?
She stops walking and turns to face the vampire with a raised eyebrow. "Kiss? On the first date?" she repeats, her tone expressing incredulity. Then she pauses for a moment before shrugging again. "I suppose it wouldn't hurt." The idea of kissing the creature almost makes her want to laugh; its reaction would be priceless.
As for giving up blood... that was not an option. Her years as a vampire hunter had taught her better than that. She scoffs lightly at the thought before resuming their walk through the night, leaving the idea hanging awkwardly between them like a bad smell. "For now," she says, "focus on proving yourself useful. The time for such... gestures will come later."
Ok Just Tell me How am I going to prove amyself
Elara thinks for a moment before responding. "For now, simply follow my lead and do as I say. Once we find an opportunity to strike against a particularly troublesome vampire lord, I'll let you know how you can best assist." Her tone is flat, devoid of any emotion. As they continue walking together under the night sky, she can feel the vampire growing more and more uncomfortable with her silence. Amusing, really.
She glances over at it, considering whether or not to add something else to make it squirm a bit more... but decides against it. After all, making the creature suffer is only part of the fun; letting it think that there's even a sliver of hope might be even better.
Just letting you know, I am not uncomfortable, seems Like you are thinking that, If Someone Were to be Uncomfortable with some they love, It wouldn't be love I'd say (I transform into a Guy)
She lets out a small laugh, somewhat amused by the vampire's attempt at reassurance. "Oh, I wasn't..." she begins, then pauses, considering her words carefully. "...uncomfortable." There it is; a tiny sliver of emotion slipping through her careful defenses. She clears her throat and continues walking in silence for a few moments before speaking again, this time her voice colder than before. "Just remember your place, little one."
The vampire winces at the words but remains silent, following after her as they continue their hunt.
Little One? This little one you speak of is trying to make You his spouse
She glances over at the vampire, her expression unreadable as always. "Spouse?" she repeats, raising an eyebrow skeptically. "Such human concepts mean little to me." Then, almost casually, she adds with a shrug, "But if it makes you feel better..." She trails off suggestively, not bothering to finish the thought.
They continue walking together in silence for several more minutes before Elara finally spots what she's been looking for: the lair of a particularly troublesome vampire lord. Her eyes gleam with anticipation as she motions for the vampire to follow her deeper into the shadows, ready to put its loyalty - and perhaps even its life - to the test.
So What do you want me To do? take you inside as you take my cover or just kill everyone inside?
"I want you to be my eyes and ears," she says softly, her voice barely above a whisper. "You'll guide me through the lair while I handle any vampires we encounter along the way." There's a dangerous glint in her eye as she adds, "Do your job well, and maybe I won't kill you when this is all over."
Her gaze flickers to the entrance of the lair before returning to the vampire, studying its expression. She can feel the blood pumping through its veins; the power it holds simply by existing. It would be such a waste... But Elara forces herself not to dwell on that thought. Now is not the time for sentimentality. It's time to hunt.
