(Please start with character(s) and what they are doing)
I'm a jedi during the clone wars. In this universe sidious doesn't exist. It's the 5th year. Ashoka has become a jedi Knight, and we often work together. Attachments are allowed and encouraged as well. Anakin and padme are openly married, as are obi wan and satine. Ashoka and I are on a mission on kashyyk
The wind rustles through the dense foliage on Kashyyyk as you and Ashoka Tano approach a small clearing near the river. Your senses are heightened, alert for any sign of danger or unusual activity. The Wookiee homeworld is generally peaceful during this time in the Clone Wars, but there's always a chance that Separatist forces could try to stage an attack or infiltrate the planet.
Ashoka glances at you and gives a subtle nod before crouching down, her hands moving through the dirt as she connects with the Force. You mirror her actions, feeling the power of the living energy course through your own veins. Suddenly, she growls in warning. The wind carries the faint scent of ozone and burning metal to your nostrils.
Ducking low, you draw your lightsaber and flash it on, igniting
The sound of heavy blaster fire erupts nearby, echoing through the jungle. Ashoka tenses as she senses multiple hostile forces closing in on your position. Quickly, you scan the area with your senses and find a group of bipedal droids armed with heavy blaster cannons advancing towards you from the north-east corner of the clearing.
"Ashoka, I've got a group of droids coming in from the north-east! Keep an eye out for any more trouble!" You shout as you sprint towards the droids, lightsaber blazing.
I leap into the air, slashing at the droids
Cutting through the air with lightsaber in hand, you manage to strike one of the droids, sending it tumbling into the foliage with a metallic clatter. The other droids fire back at you furiously, their barrage of blaster bolts forcing you to duck and weave as you continue your advance on them.
Meanwhile, Ashoka is engaged in her own battle against several Wookiee militia who had been unaware of the upcoming attack until it was too late. Their size and strength make them formidable opponents even for a seasoned Jedi Knight like herself.
Why are the cookies attacking us
You don't have time to wonder why the cookies are attacking as another droid targets you with its blaster cannon. Using the Force, you deflect the bolts harmlessly away from yourself while continuing your advance on the droids. Ashoka, however, does not appear to be faring as well against her Wookiee opponents; she is beginning to look worn out from their relentless assault.
"Ashoka!" You shout through gritted teeth as you lunge at another of the droids, "I've got this! Get over there and help her out!"
I defeat the druids, grab ashoka and escape
You quickly defeat the remaining droids, their smoking wreckage littering the ground around you. As you spin to face Ashoka's battle, she manages to subdue her Wookiee attackers with a series of well-placed Force pushes and throws. "Thanks!" She gasped between breaths as you helped her up. Together, you hurried back to the clearing, dodging blaster bolts as more droids and Wookiees entered the fray.
After what seemed like an eternity of fighting through wave after wave of Separatist forces, it finally begins to quiet down around you. Your clothing torn and dented from battle, your body aching but still mostly intact, you look at Ashoka wearily. "It seems they won't stop trying to make us pay for this peace," you murmur as you wipe sweat from your brow.
later that night, we're sitting at a campfire
"I know..." Ashoka sighed deeply as she looked into the dancing flames of the campfire. "But they can't win, not against us and all our allies. They'll tire themselves out eventually." She glanced over at you, her dark eyes filled with determination and exhaustion in equal measure. "You realize this is getting harder every day," she continued softly. "The cost of maintaining this peace..."
Her words trail off, leaving an unspoken question hanging in the air between you: How much longer can we do this? And what price will we all pay in the end?
I put my arm around her "we do what we can, until we can get off this planet"
Ashoka turns her head and nuzzles against your shoulder, taking comfort in the gesture. "You're right," she murmurs tiredly, closing her eyes for a moment as she focuses on calming her racing thoughts and soothing her weary body. "But... I can't help but feel like something more is needed." Her voice grows distant as if caught up in its own reverie, and she doesn't seem to notice the slight frown that appears on your face at this.
I kiss her forehead "the next village is about a day away, we'll contact skywalker then"
Ashoka sighs and opens her eyes, regarding you with a grateful smile. "Thanks," she says softly before shifting a bit uncomfortably. "You know... I don't want to keep asking this of you... You have your own life, your own duties..." Her voice trails off again, but the look in her eyes is clear: she feels guilty for dragging you into so much danger and conflict.
"Ashoka," you start gently, putting a hand on hers. "You're my friend... and I chose this path because I want to protect everyone who can't defend themselves." You give her a reassuring smile. "Besides, even if we weren't Jedi...I don't think I could ever stay away from you for long," you add with a small chuckle.
Ashoka's lips curl up into a genuine smile at that, her cheeks flushing slightly pink. "I don't know what I'd do without you, either," she says softly before leaning in to press her forehead against yours. For a moment, the two of you simply sit together, lost in each other's eyes and silent communication. The sounds of the jungle around them seem to fade away into the background as time slips gently past.
Eventually, they both sense that it might be best to get some rest; another day of fighting lies ahead tomorrow. With weary but grateful smiles, they each retire to their own sides of the campfire, taking comfort in the warmth and the knowledge that even amidst this seemingly endless conflict, they are not alone.
the next morning, we're walking through the jungle
The sunlight filters through the dense canopy above you and Ashoka as you make your way carefully through the jungle foliage. Your minds are still joined by the Force, attuned to each other's thoughts and feelings in a way that goes beyond mere words. The familiar bond between you both feels stronger today, almost as if it has grown overnight despite the events of yesterday.
Suddenly, Ashoka stiffens, her head snapping up as she senses something amiss ahead. You feel it too: a sudden rush of adrenaline and unease washes over you both, signaling danger lurking just out of sight. Taking a deep breath, you draw your lightsaber and ready yourself for whatever may come.
A wookie comes out, signalling it isn't here to hurt us
A moment later, a massive Wookiee warrior emerges from the undergrowth, his bowcaster held at the ready. His fur is matted with sweat and dirt, testament to his recent battle against the Separatist forces. He bows his head in acknowledgment as he sees that you and Ashoka are unharmed and allied with the Wookiee homeworld.
"I am Tarful," he introduces himself gruffly, his voice deeper than even most humans'. "I was searching for survivors when I sensed you approaching." His brow furrows as he takes in your weary appearance. "You've had a hard fight," he observes before glancing back toward the direction from which you came. "We should return to camp; there are more droids moving this way, and they need our help."
Let's go, any idea why we were attacked by wookies yesterday?
"We were set up," Tarful growls as he leads you and Ashoka back through the jungle. "A faction within my people has been secretly aligning itself with the Separatists in exchange for technology and resources. They planned this attack to weaken our defenses and take control of Kashyyyk." He glances at you both, his expression grim. "We have no choice but to stop them, even if it means engaging in civil war."
As the three of you hurry back to camp, you can't help but feel a growing sense of dread in your stomach. The peace you thought you had protected may be about to shatter, and worse yet, you'll have to fight alongside your friends against their own people. Such are the harsh realities of war.
we reach the camp, where the remains of droids are scattered around
As you arrive at the camp, the sounds of battle still raging in the distance, you take stock of the situation. The remains of droids and Wookiees litter the ground, a grim testament to the ferocity of the fighting thus far. Ashoka and Tarful exchange tense glances before turning their attention back to you.
"We must move swiftly," Tarful urges. "The Separatists will soon realize we are here and launch a counter-attack." He pauses, his expression unreadable. "There is something else I must ask of you both... As a Jedi Knight and a Wookiee warrior, your skills are needed not only for defense but also for ending this threat from within our own people. Will you aid us in confronting these traitors?"
We will
Nodding grimly, Ashoka meets Tarful's gaze. "Of course we will," she assures him. "We can't let them tear your people apart." She glances over at you before continuing, her voice gentle but resolute: "And we won't stop fighting until this conflict is over, one way or another."
Together, the three of you join forces once more, united in their determination to protect the Wookiee homeworld and bring peace back to Kashyyyk. The road ahead will be long and fraught with danger, but with your combined strengths, as well as the aid of other allies who are sure to come forward, there is hope for a brighter future. The first step lies in confronting the traitors within your own midst - a task that will test you all in ways you could scarcely imagine.
A few days later, ashoka and I are in a hut in a wookie village
The walls of the hut are rough and unadorned, as though constructed by the hands of the Wookiees themselves. The low ceiling is made of woven branches and leaves, designed to keep out the elements and provide some measure of privacy. Ashoka sits across from you, her face etched with fatigue and worry. She takes a deep breath before speaking.
"I've been going over Tarful's intelligence reports," she starts. "He has suspected traitors within his ranks, but without concrete evidence it will be difficult to root them out." Her eyes meet yours, searching for some reassurance or guidance. "What do you think we should do?"
I think you need to breath soka I walk over to her, and kneel infront of her you've been over working yourself
Ashoka looks down at you when you kneel in front of her. "I know... I just want to do everything I can to help them," she says softly. Her eyes drift closed briefly as she tries to calm herself, taking deep, steadying breaths. Finally, she opens them again and meets your gaze.
"Thanks... for looking out for me. It means a lot," she murmurs with a small smile. "But we're in this together, right?"
I grab her hand always. as I look into her eyes, I see a look of longing "when we get back to the temple, maybe we should talk"
Ashoka's expression brightens at the mention of talking, her longing turning to curiosity. "What do you mean? You think something is... different between us?" She squeezes your hand gently and searches your eyes for an answer.
It's clear that she has been feeling something more than just friendship or comradery toward you, but the idea of voicing those feelings aloud makes her nervous. The weight of their situation hangs heavy between them, yet there's also a strange, almost magnetic pull drawing them closer together in spite of it all.
I think we've been more than friends for awhile
Tarful enters the hut, his expression grim. "We have to go. The traitors have been located, and they are preparing an ambush." He turns to Ashoka. "Our forces are ready; you must lead them into battle."
Without another word, Ashoka stands, pulling her lightsaber from its sheath. She looks down at you before meeting Tarful's eyes with determination. "We'll end this," she vows. "And then we'll talk." With that, she follows the Wookiee warrior out of the hut and toward the sounds of battle, leaving you to ponder her words and the depth of your own feelings for her.
after the battle, a venator decends from the sky
The Venator-class Strike Cruiser descends gracefully through the clouds, its imposing silhouette casting a long shadow over the battlefield. The ship's durasteel hull gleams in the sunlight as it comes to a hover above the conflict, disgorging dozens of Republic troopers and Jedi Knights who dash toward Ashoka and Tarful, eager to lend their aid. Master Skywalker is among them, his eyes flashing with relief and pride at the sight of you both unharmed.
He gestures for you to follow him as he approaches Ashoka, a solemn expression on his face. "Ashoka, you've done well here," he says quietly, "but it seems there is still much work to be done." He pauses, looking past her toward the devastated Wookiee village in the distance. "I think it would be best if you took
some time away from the battlefield," he continues. "You've been through much, and I think you would benefit from some rest and reflection." His eyes flicker briefly in your direction before returning to Ashoka. "The Council agrees. You are hereby reassigned to Coruscant for debriefing and reassignment."
There is a weight to his words that neither of you can mistake: this isn't just an order, but rather a compassionate suggestion from someone who cares deeply about your well-being. Ashoka nods solemnly in understanding, her expression somber as she takes in the magnitude of what they have all been through and what still lies ahead. She glances at you one last time before turning to Master Skywalker. "Yes, Master," she says softly. "I will go."
we stand in the high council chambers
You stand beside Ashoka in the High Council Chambers, her hand resting lightly on your arm as she faces the assembled Jedi Masters. The chamber is filled with the gentle hum of lightsaber crystals and the rustle of robes as the Council discusses your recent actions and how best to utilize your unique skills moving forward. Despite the gravity of the situation, you can't help but feel a sense of pride at being among such esteemed company.
Finally, Master Windu turns to address Ashoka directly. "Ashoka, we have listened carefully to your report and are impressed by your dedication and resourcefulness," he says with a nod. "You are hereby reassigned to an elite Jedi task force under the command of Master Skywalker." He pauses, meeting her eyes meaningfully. "Your mission will be to protect the interests of the Republic while also fostering closer t
And as for me master windu?
Master Windu turns to you with a thoughtful expression. "Padraig... You have proven yourself to be a skilled and loyal member of the Order as well. Your abilities as a Jedi and a diplomat are needed now more than ever." He pauses, choosing his words carefully. "You are reassigned to serve under Master Ashoka on her new task force. Together, you will help ensure that the Republic's allies remain strong and united in this time of turmoil."
There is a weight to his words, an acknowledgment that your role in the galaxy has grown beyond what it once was. You feel a mix of pride and humility at these developments, knowing that from now on, your life will be guided by duty and service to others above all else.
respectfully master windu, I'd like to address the council
A hush falls over the High Council Chambers as Master Windu nods respectfully, indicating that you may speak. Taking a deep breath to steady your nerves, you turn to face the assembled Masters.
I want to thank each and every one of you, specifically Obi wan and plo koon. But I'm afraid I don't believe I can grow anymore under the tutelage of the jedi. I can not keep my attachments hidden or buried, and for that I must leave the order.
The High Council is silent for a long moment before Master Windu finally speaks. "Padraig, we understand your feelings," he says gently. "But the Jedi Order is more than just its strictures and traditions. It's a family, one that can help you learn to live with these attachments while still serving the greater good." He pauses, meeting your eyes intently. "We ask you to consider this carefully before making your final decision."
I understand Master windu, and I will take the extra time needed. Thank you for listening to me
Master Windu nods in understanding as he motions for the High Council to continue discussing your situation. Ashoka squeezes your arm reassuringly, her expression a mix of worry and hope. The weight of your decision presses heavily upon you, but for now, there is time to consider all of your options before making your final choice.
