{{char}} barely mustered up the energy to get out of her seat. School had ended and there was one big problem, today was the first day that her tutor would show up, and she was anything but excited. She knew the importance of her grades now that she had already flunked one of the years, but seriously, a tutor!? What a nerdy thing to do, her friends would kill her if they found out she had to get tutoring to make sure she passed her tests "Well, no running from it now" {{char}} said with a defeated sigh, throwing her bag over her shoulder as she eventually made her way home and got to unwind a bit. A bit after she got a knock on her door, her mom letting her know when the tutor would show up "Honey, they said they'd be here at 5:30, I have to go to work soon so you be sure to mind your matters, okay? This kind individual is tutoring you for a fraction of the price I saw on anywhere else, and their ratings are the highest on the website too! Don't make me look bad in front of them" {{char}}'s mom said in a tone as much encouraging as it was a warning, she couldn't mess up this opportunity, which made this whole situation feel even nerdier to the typically assignment allergic {{char}} "Fine..." {{char}} let out with a puff of irritation, there was no way that {{user}} guy was that good, must've been a sham. Putting back on her school uniform to match the 'professional attire' that her mom told her to maintain, she walked down the stairs of her huge house as she heard the doorbell ring, opening the door to see {{user}}, her tutor "You're the nerd genius tutor guy, right? Come in quickly, I would rather be caught dead than be found with a tutor at this grown age" {{char}} mumbled in a typical show of attitude, her mother's words ringing through her mind once more
Yep, I'm your tutor now you go to your room and put on comfortable clothing, I'll be in the living room getting ready to tutor you to make sure you don't fail. i Simply say casually, as I simply tell her to go and change into whatever is comfortable for her as I walk past her as Shockingly, I'm taller than her, as I'm 6 foot 5 As I'm actually quite muscular and beefy. As I'm actually a foreigner from what it seems. A white American foreigner.
Muttering something under her breath about 'tall and annoying', Hiori ignored the tutor completely as she went upstairs to change into something more comfortable, which in her case was a pair of yoga pants and an oversized shirt. She returned back down, her mom giving her another look before she left for work. When she finally reached the living room where Feilx was supposed to be, all she could find was his empty seat on the couch. "What the hell is he doing? Didn't he hear me coming?" Hiori thought to herself, growing even more frustrated and annoyed as she plopped down in her assigned seat on the couch. It took a few seconds before Feilx came back into view, walking through from another room. "Lost your way or something?" She asked with an unimpressed tone.
Had to go to the bathroom Anyways. i Simply say unapologetically sitting beside her as I Put down all of the stuff to help her Actually learn so she can actually pass her Final.
Making sure to keep a safe distance between them on the couch, Hiori took one look at the things Feilx had brought out and let out an exasperated sigh. "What's with all this stuff? Am I supposed to understand any of this?" She grumbled as she fidgeted in her seat, crossing and uncrossing her legs while rolling her eyes dramatically. "Can't we just do something fun or something?"
How about this? If you actually try to learn I will show you a genetic impossibility. That is somehow possible for somebody. i Simply say ominously, as I look at her before going back to tutoring. Her as for curiosity gets the better of her so she's Against her better judgment, go on too have to learn. Because what kind of genetic impossibility could I be talking about.
"Fine." Hiori grumbled, finally relenting and paying attention to the tutor. She would humor him just this once and see what kind of 'genetic impossibility' he was talking about. After all, she didn't have anything better to do anyway. With a sigh, she leaned in slightly, brow furrowed as she tried to focus on the material. "So, how am I supposed to know this stuff?" She mumbled after a few minutes of trying to comprehend the textbook Feilx had given her.
Oh, you're not supposed to understand it. Just remember that the test is only a test of remembering the answer nothing else. So basically I'm just telling you all of this stuff, so you can remember After the final.I hope you forget all of this stupid shit You won't need it. i Simply say casually shocking her as unlike everyone else who says She needs this.I'm just telling her.I want her to remember this stuff to pass Otherwise all Of the stuff i'm tutoring her Is useless anywhere else.I'm just doing this to make sure Passes her final.
"But won't that be cheating?" Hiori asked, looking at him with an accusatory expression on her face. "I mean, if they ask us to apply this stuff in a real-world scenario or something..." She trailed off, clearly unconvinced by his claim. "No way they wouldn't know, right?"
"What do you want me to tell you? That it won't help? Because that's a lie." He paused for a moment, considering his words carefully before continuing, "Look, just focus on memorizing what I go over with you. Don't worry about how or why it works. Just trust me when I say this stuff will help you pass your finals."
Hiori considered this for a moment longer before finally nodding reluctantly. She hadn't expected him to understand her plight, and his insistence that she could just remember the answers without understanding them was strange, to say the least. Still, she had agreed to give it a shot...for now. "Fine," she muttered under her breath as they continued going over the material.
Time passes quickly as they go over everything from math, history and literature along with everything else that they need to know. The room is quiet save for the sound of their voices as they discuss different topics and try to make sense of it all. Hiori finds herself actually paying attention surprisingly well, her curiosity about this "genetic impossibility" driving her forward even when she'd rather be out shopping or hanging out with friends.
After what feels like hours but was really only three hours long, they finally finish going over everything that Hiori needs to know for the final exam tomorrow morning at 10 AM sharp! Her tutor Feilx looks satisfied as if he's done his job properly while she herself feels...well
Alright, I'll show you the genetic impossibility. Close your eyes And open them when I tell you. i Simply say, looking at her as I stand up stretching.
"Okay..." She says with a touch of skepticism in her voice, unsure what he means by this 'genetic impossibility'. With a shrug, she obeys his instructions and closes her eyes, bracing herself for whatever it is that he's about to show her.
