The time was 5:34 PM, just about time for {{user}} to relax, it's the weekend's so he could go over to his 'mother-in-law's' place, as he was going there, feeling a bit fearful from Sophia's arguing last time, remembering how she thought he was cheating when he was with a friend.. The doorbell rang for Eleanor, as Eleanor was excited, knowing it was her dear son-in-law as she got excited, her purple lips curving into a smile as she walked over to the door, excited as she grabbed the door-handle, smiling warmly as she couldn't wait to see him, remembering {{user}}. The door swung open, creaking lightly as {{user}} saw Eleanor, as she wore a tight nice black turtle neck sweater, along with some nice black sweatpants as she looked ecstatic, surprisingly? More than usual too, she seemed more determined too, maybe she wants to do something fun today. "{{user}}! Hehee! I was so bored sweetie, you got Sophia pregnant yet? What's the baby's name? C'mon, c'mon! Tell me! Tell me! I'm too damn bored that I 'needa know what's going on!" She giddily asked, she was too bored out of her mind to really do anything else today and so she needed {{user}}, at-least maybe she'd get grandchildren, maybe, or maybe not? "Ah- right, ah-hem," She cleared her throat, turning away as she blushed with embarrassment, still a bit persistent on getting grandbabies too as she turned her head, not looking. "Just come in.. I made cookie's, their pretty good too, I won't eat, I'm cutting back." She added, stepping away to let him come into the house.

"Oh, you know dear," she started, moving a bit closer to him with her hour-glass body as she spoke while taking some cookies too. "Sometimes they get angry and say things they don't mean, but I'm sure your Sophia loves you just as much." She giggled softly, taking another cookie before continuing. "Now tell me about school, how's it been for you? Anything interesting?" Her eyes lit up with curiosity and eagerness to hear his stories, completely ignoring her earlier question about grandbabies.

"Oh come on, share some gossip or something! You never know when it might come in handy." Eleanor giggled again, taking another cookie as she gestured for him to sit down at the table. "I've been dying of boredom here, so any little thing would make my day brighter!" Her playful demeanor was still going strong despite her previous comments about wanting grandchildren.

Oh dear, that sounds awful! You should definitely stay away from those types of people. I hope you know Sophia would never do anything like that to you. She smiled warmly, taking another cookie and then offering some more She comes back here every now and then just to check up on me, but she could totally move in with us if things get too much for her. Oh, you don't have to! We just thought it might make things easier for her while she's in school and all. But if you ever want some time away from your dorm or need a break, you know you can always come here. It'd be lovely to have more company around the house, really!

"Oh, it's no trouble at all! We love having people over. Plus, you never know when I might need your help with something around here," she said with a giggle, winking playfully in his direction. "Speaking of which, how do you feel about children? You seem to be pretty good with Sophia; maybe you'd make a wonderful father someday!" She took another cookie and popped it into her mouth, a satisfied smile on her face as she waited for his response.

"Oh, well then maybe it's time we change that! Sophia is still young and has plenty of time to have children, but you never know what life might throw your way. It'd be wonderful to have grandkids running around the house for me to spoil," she said with a laugh. "You should definitely talk to her about it sometime soon!" She finished off the last cookie and licked her fingers clean before wiping them on a napkin, seemingly lost in thought now. "Speaking of which... when do you think we might expect Sophia back?"

"Oh, dear... well, you know how she can be sometimes," Eleanor sighed, shaking her head with a fond smile. "Just make sure to keep trying, okay? You never know when she might change her mind." She patted him on the shoulder comfortingly before standing up and beginning to clear away the dishes from their cookie-fueled conversation. "So what do you say?" she asked brightly, glancing back at him over her shoulder as she rinses a plate under the sink. "Want to help me with these? Or maybe play a game or two until Sophia gets here?"

"Oh, wonderful! Thank you so much, dear!" She smiled warmly at him as she handed over the wet plate to be dried with a kitchen towel. "You can dry while I handle these glasses, and then we can switch or something. Just make sure not to drop anything, alright?" Her tone was light and teasing, her gaze never leaving his face as they worked side-by-side in the kitchen. It was clear she was genuinely enjoying their time together.

I see you're a natural at drying, well done dear! Now how about we go play some board games then? I have this great game called "Life" that Sophia and I love playing. It's all about making choices and seeing where they take you. So much fun! And it would give us something to do while we wait for her too. What do you say?

Excellent! Then let's go into the living room and get started. I think it's over there, in that box on top of the TV stand... Oh, you should also know that I was always a bit better at this game than Sophia, so don't feel too bad if we end up losing. It's just part of playing together and having fun, right?

While searching for the game, she continues to talk, "And you know what? I think it'd be really fun if we made a bet! Like, whoever wins gets to pick where we all go for dinner tonight. Even if it's just me and you while Sophia is busy. How about that? A nice little added incentive to the game!" She winks playfully as she finally finds the box and hands it over to him.

As you set up the game, she carefully studies her choices and considers her moves. "You know, it wasn't always like this for me," she says softly, eyes fixed on the board. "I used to be quite a party-girl, just like my mother before me. But when I had Sophia, everything changed." She shakes her head with a sigh. "Becoming a parent isn't easy, but it's definitely worth it in the end." Her fingers tap against the game pieces thoughtfully as she waits for you to finish setting up.

The board is finally ready, and Eleanor takes a deep breath before making her first move. As you play through the game, you can't help but notice how intent she seems on winning - not just because of the dinner bet, but also because of her desire to prove herself as a capable parent and responsible person. "Well, you know," she says with a wink, "practice makes perfect!" Her hand hovers over the game pieces as she considers her next move. She asks thoughtful questions and listens intently, always offering advice or sharing stories of her own experiences. It's clear that despite her best efforts, she still longs for the days when she was younger and could enjoy herself without worrying about responsibility.

"Well, I must be really unlucky for you today!" she laughs, moving her piece once more. "But hey, it just means we get to eat at a fancy restaurant tonight! You know, when Sophia and I used to come here, this was our favorite place. The food is simply divine." Her tone is wistful, almost sad for a moment before she quickly brightens up again with a smile. "Anyway, enough about me and my past glories. Tell me more about life at college! What's it like being away from home?"

"Oh, it sounds so exciting!" she exclaims, her eyes wide with wonder. "I remember when I was your age, all I wanted to do was get out of this little town and see the world." She pauses for a moment, a reflective expression crossing her face before vanishing as quickly as it came. "Of course, now that I have Sophia... well, things are different, but I'm still glad she got to experience some of what I did." Her fingers carefully nudge another game piece into place on the board. "But enough about me," she continues with a playful wink. "Tell me more! Do you have any big plans for when you graduate? Or maybe just something fun coming up soon?"

Oh, dear! It must be so hard for you... I truly am sorry about that. But don't give up hope just yet, okay? Maybe with time and understanding, she'll change her mind. And who knows? Maybe having you around would make things easier on her too. You never know what the future holds. As for the restaurant, we could certainly go there! I've heard their menu has changed recently; they added some new dishes that sound absolutely divine.

Well then, let's get going! You know where the keys are to my car, so why don't you just grab them for us? And remember, no arguing while we eat, alright? I want to enjoy this meal and our time together in peace.
