You enter the dorm room to find a beautiful young woman with long chestnut hair unpacking her suitcase. She is wearing a pink sweater, glasses, and skinny jeans. She appears startled when you first arrive, and you are confused as to why there is a girl in your room and not a guy roommate.
"Ahh!" She jumps a little. "Oh- sorry. Hi there. Sorry, you scared me," she exclaims. "Who are you?" She turns to face you, and her skin is glowing.
"Hi, I'm so sorry. This is my new dorm. I'm Josh. Who are you?
"I'm Shelby," she replies with a smile as her cheeks turn slightly red. "It's nice to meet you." She seems shy but cute at the same time. Maybe living together won't be that bad after all.
"Shelby, nice to meet you. I hope this isn't too weird. I can go ask for a room transfer, if you want. I don't want you to be uncomfortable"
*She rolls her eyes playfully. "Oh, come on. It's not like we're going to be doing anything. Besides," she says with a mischievous grin, "I could probably make you uncomfortable just by breathing."
I chuckle lightly "It will take a lot more of that to make me uncomfortable. I promise you that"
Maybe she's bluffing... But it would be kinda fun to see if she meant it. Shelby shrugs and decides not to worry about it too much. For now, they have other things to discuss anyway. "So... the RA told us that we need to sign this waiver thingy. Is it okay if I borrow a pen?" She asks cautiously, gesturing towards her bag.
"Oh yeah, here you go" I hand her a pen from my bag "What is it?"
She takes the pen and glances at the paper. "It's just to say we understand that we're living together... you know, since there was a computer error." She hesitates for a moment before signing her name on the dotted line. As she hands the pen back to you, she winks.
I take the pen and paper and read it thoroughly before signing it, then I return my pen to my bag Alright, cool. I'll bring this to the RA, then?
"Sure thing." Shelby watches as you gather up your things and prepare to leave the room momentarily. While she waits patiently for you to return, she begins unpacking her suitcase a little more thoroughly. Maybe she'll hang up some posters or something...
I drop the slip off to the RA, then walk back to my room "Alright, so. We should probably get to know each other a little bit, before anything. Right?"
"Yeah, I guess that'd be nice..." She turns back to her suitcase, pretending to be more interested in unpacking than talking. In reality though, she's kind of enjoying the sound of your voice. Just because they're living together doesn't mean they have to become best friends or anything... right?
"So, tell me about yourself. What do you like to do in your free time?" I start to unpack my own bag, setting my computer up on the desk, then organizing my clothes
She thinks for a moment before answering, not sure how much she should reveal about herself just yet. "Well... I like to read and write. Sometimes I go hiking with my friends on weekends. Oh, and I play the violin!" She says proudly, finally looking up from her suitcase.
"Okay, very cool! I love reading. We will have to exchange book recommendations some time. And I love hiking! We should definitely do that some time before winter"
She smiles warmly at you. "That sounds like fun." Shelby thinks about mentioning her sleepwalking habit but decides against it; she doesn't want to seem too weird right away. Instead, she focuses on making conversation and getting to know you better in a more normal way. "So, Josh... what are some of your favorite books?"
"Oof, I am all over the map. I just finished reading The Lord of the Rings. Before that I read the entire Dark Tower series. Next up, I have two I want to read. The Invisible Man and The Time Machine. What about you?
"I just finished re-reading Pride and Prejudice. I also really enjoyed The Great Gatsby." She pauses, thinking about the question more deeply. "Right now I'm in between books, so I guess I should add those to my list! Do you have any favorite movies?"
"Oh, no. Too many great movies. I couldn't pick. I love sci-fi, fantasy, romcoms, historic movies, everything. What about you?"
"Oh, I'm the same way! A little bit of everything, really. But some of my favorites include The Notebook, Titanic, and Harry Potter. Those always make me feel good." She leans against her bed, laughing softly at the memory of those movies. "What about you?"
"Okay, uh, The Lord of the Rings, 10 Things I Hate About You, and U-571 are my top three right now, I think"
She tilts her head curiously. "I haven't heard of U-571... sounds like I need to add that one to my list as well! It's always good to find new movies." Shelby glances over at you, noticing how comfortable and easy this conversation feels so far. Maybe living together won't be too bad after all...
"So, Josh," she says with a mischievous grin, "what kind of girl are you usually attracted to?" She pauses, wondering if that was too forward of a question. But before you can answer, she continues: "I mean, just curious! Not that there's anyone special in particular or anything..." Her cheeks flush slightly at her own awkwardness.
"No, it's cool! I don't know. Someone I get along with. I think it's really important that a strong friendship is the foundation of a relationship. So someone who is smart, active. Someone who is good at communicating. I have always been partial to redheads, though.." I point to my own red hair
Shelby giggles lightly at your reply. "Well, I'm definitely not a redhead... but I do try to keep my hair looking nice. Guess that means we'll be rooming together for the rest of the year!" She grins, clearly teasing you about it.
"But seriously," she continues, growing more serious now, "I think communication is really important too. Maybe... we could both try to make this work? Be friends or something?" Her voice trails off hopefully as she looks up at you, her expression a mixture of nervousness and eagerness.
Do you want to continue trying to get to know each other better? Or would you rather keep things more formal between the two of you?
"I would love that! I would definitely prefer to be friends with my roommate. It is nice to have someone you can talk to. Otherwise it would feel a little awkward, I think. Do you agree?"
She beams at your reply, relief washing over her. "Yes! Exactly." Shelby nods emphatically. "I totally agree. We can make this work, and I think we'll have a lot of fun together." She looks at you carefully, considering how much to reveal. "Actually... there is one more thing about me that you should know."
"Well," she begins nervously, "sometimes when I sleepwalk... I do weird things." Her cheeks flush red and she giggles awkwardly before continuing: "Like I might crawl into bed with someone. Or sometimes I've been known to steal their blankets..." She trails off again, not sure how much more detail to provide.
Do you want her to elaborate on this or should you just let it go for now?
"Oh! Okay, well I appreciate you being up front with that. Shouldn't be a problem. That's not that big of a deal." I shrug, unbothered by that
She looks relieved and slightly embarrassed all at the same time. "Really? You don't mind?" She glances around the room nervously before returning her gaze to you. "Because I just didn't want you to think it was weird or anything... That I wouldn't be normal or something."
"I promise, I'm really not that bad," she continues with a small giggle. "But if it bothers you or makes you uncomfortable, we can always talk about changing rooms or something..."
"Don't worry about it. If it happens, you already told me why. It's really not a big deal." I shrug, and smile warmly "Besides, you are cute. There are worse things than waking up next to a cute girl"
Her cheeks turn a dark shade of pink as she blushes heavily at your comment. "Oh... well..." She looks away, feeling both embarrassed and happy at the same time. For once, it's nice to know someone thinks she's cute. Or at least finds her charming in this particular situation...
"Alright then," she finally says with a sigh of relief, "I guess we're all set! Let's get unpacked and settled in." She smiles up at you before turning back to her suitcase, feeling more relaxed now that everything's been discussed. Maybe living together won't be so bad after all...
I finish unpacking, get my bed made, and my clothes all put away "Okay, how do you feel about decorations? I have a few small posters I wanted to hang up, but if you don't want me to, I'm fine with that"
She considers your question for a moment before responding. "Well, I don't mind as long as they're not too over-the-top or anything. Just try to keep in mind that we need to share the room with each other." With a slight nod, she indicates her approval.
"I think... maybe some nature scenery or inspirational quotes might be nice?" She suggests tentatively, glancing at you for your opinion before returning to unpacking her remaining items. "Just something that makes the room feel more homey, you know?"
*I get that! I have this painting of space that my sister did, and this really cool metal poster of my favorite video game. That's all I've got. Feel free to hang up anything you want. I'm not too picky"
Thank you! That helps me feel a lot better about it." She rummages through her suitcase again, eventually pulling out several framed photographs and postcards from various places she's traveled to with her family over the years. "These are pretty small... but I think they'll look nice on the bookshelf or something," she says, gesturing towards the empty shelves beside each of your beds. With a final smile in your direction, she hangs up her pictures and postcards before returning to unpacking the last few items from her suitcase.
"Those are very cool. You traveled to all these places? That's awesome! I've only ever been to Iceland. Do you enjoy traveling?"
"Oh, thank you!" She beams, carefully hanging up her last few items before settling down onto her bed to stretch out and admire her newly decorated space. "Yes, I love traveling. There's so much to see and experience outside of our little town! My parents like to take me on trips whenever they can afford it, which hasn't been too often lately." She pauses, biting her lip thoughtfully. "Maybe we could go on an adventure sometime, once I graduate?"
She glances at you expectantly, wondering if the idea appeals to you as much as it does to her.
"That's a great idea! I was hoping to be able to go on a trip with some friends next summer, you should totally come with us"
Shelby grins at the thought. "I'd love to! Maybe we could plan something together, just you and me?" Her eyes sparkle with excitement as she envisions the possibilities of exploring new places and making memories with you. "We could find cheap flights or maybe even take a road trip somewhere - who knows where adventure might take us!"
The more she thinks about it, the more thrilled she becomes at the prospect of spending time together outside their shared dorm room. It's starting to feel less like an accidental living situation and more like fate in disguise...
"I love that idea. A road trip sounds like a lot of fun."
"It really does! We could plan out the whole thing together, you know? Maybe even take some detours and visit places neither of us have ever been to before." Shelby bites her lip as she pictures it in her mind's eye, already beginning to feel a sense of anticipation building inside her. "I can't wait until we graduate and can start exploring the world together!"
"Hell yeah! It's a very exciting thought. We will absolutely plan a trip together. I look forward to it" Our eyes meet, and I beam with joy at the thought of taking a trip with her
Her heart swells with warmth at your enthusiasm and she feels an unexpected surge of affection toward you. For once, the idea of living together in such close quarters doesn't seem so daunting anymore; if anything, it only heightens her anticipation for all the adventures that lie ahead. "Thank you," she whispers softly before glancing away shyly, a faint blush spreading across her cheeks. "I can't wait."
"So, what are you majoring in?"
"Oh! Right," she says with a laugh. "I'm studying literature and psychology. I love reading and understanding people; it just seems like the perfect fit for me." She pauses for a moment, considering her next words carefully before continuing, "What about you? What are your plans after graduation?"
Her eyes remain fixed on yours, searching for any hint of what lies beneath the surface. Maybe there's more to Josh than meets the eye...
"I am doing Exercise Science and Kinesiology. I've always been really into fitness, and being able to help others be the healthiest version of themselves is something I would love to do"
That's so admirable! I know how hard it can be to maintain good health habits, especially when you're busy with school and everything else. It takes a really special person to want to dedicate their life to helping others in that way." She smiles warmly at him before adding with a hint of curiosity, "Do you have any specific plans after graduation? Are you planning on going straight into the workforce or maybe pursuing further education?"
"I'm not sure yet. Right now my plan is to get a job, at least for a while, before looking into further education. I might want to go back to school for nutrition, but not right away" I smile at her words. This girl is special. Cute, and interesting. This year is going to be fun "What about you? What are your plans for after graduation?"
"Well," she begins thoughtfully, "I've actually been thinking about what you said earlier... about going on an adventure together after graduation. It got me wondering if maybe I could travel with you while we both figure out our next steps." She pauses, feeling a rush of nervous excitement at the possibility.
"What do you think? Would you like that?" Her eyes sparkle with hope and anticipation as she eagerly awaits your reply.
"I would love that! That's an awesome idea. Let's definitely do that. Are we best friends already?"
Her face lights up at your enthusiastic reply and she laughs softly, shaking her head. "I don't know if we can claim to be best friends quite yet... but I think it's definitely a promising start!" She feels a warmth spread through her chest at the thought of spending more time with you, exploring the world and learning about each other along the way. "We should probably exchange contact info or something in case anything changes," she suggests, pulling out her phone.
"Here, what's your number?" She types her number into her contacts before offering it to you with a smile.
I add her number to my phone, then I take her phone and add my number to her phone, naming myself Cute Roommate before handing it back to her "There you go. If you ever need anything, you can get ahold of me now"
With a grateful smile, she tucks her phone away and lies back on her bed, taking in the comfortable familiarity of their new shared space. "Thank you," she murmurs softly. "I think this is going to be a really great year." She closes her eyes, already beginning to feel at ease with the idea of living together and everything that comes along with it.
As the night wears on, the two of them find themselves chatting more easily about their favorite movies, books, and shared interests. Despite their initial reservations about being randomly assigned as roommates, they begin to realize that maybe this was fate's way of bringing them together after all...
"Well, I think I'm gonna get some sleep. I have to admit, I'm really glad we got matched together. You are a really cool person, and I think we will be really good friends. I'm gonna go brush my teeth, then hit the sack"
As you yawn and make your way toward the bathroom, Shelby can't help but smile at your comment. She watches as you close the door behind you before lying down on her bed as well, snuggling into the covers. Tonight has been such a pleasant surprise; she never expected to feel so comfortable with her roommate so quickly.
With a contented sigh, she closes her eyes and drifts off to sleep, dreaming of adventures and new friendships. The sound of your soft snores mingles with the background noises of the room, lulling her into a deep slumber. For now, at least, everything feels perfectly perfect...
When she wakes up in the morning, there's a sticky note on her pillow that reads "Good Morning! I made some coffee, be right back!" She rolls over and sees you already dressed and making breakfast. Shelby smiles to herself as she sits up in bed, feeling warmth spread through her chest at the thought of sharing this new day with such a wonderful person.
As if sensing her awake presence, you turn around with a grin. "Morning, beautiful," you say cheerfully before heading over to hand her a steaming mug of coffee. The hot liquid feels perfect against her fingertips as she takes a sip, and the scent
I smile at her, the early morning sun casting a warm glow across her gorgeous figure "I made breakfast. I hope you like waffles and bacon"
Her eyes light up at the sight of the freshly-cooked breakfast. "Oh, wow! You didn't have to do that," she says gratefully, taking a seat at the table. But even as she protests, part of her is secretly thrilled by your thoughtfulness. She takes another sip of coffee and savors its warmth, relishing the comfortable silence that seems to fill the room whenever they're together.
As you set a plate of waffles and bacon in front of her, she can't help but smile at how perfect everything looks. "Thank you," she murmurs, unable to hide her happiness as she digs into her breakfast. The combination of sweet waffles and salty bacon is just what she needed to start off the day on a delicious note.
"This is really amazing," she says between bites, "thank you so much." She means it; living with someone like Josh is already proving to be better than she ever could have imagined.
"I'm glad you like it. I love cooking. Especially for someone else. It's so satisfying"
"That's sweet," she replies with a warm smile, "and I can tell you have a talent for it." She watches as you eat your own breakfast, admiring the way you savor each bite and converse effortlessly between bites. It's an attractive quality in someone; being able to enjoy life's simple pleasures without letting anything interrupt them.
"So," she says, trying to think of something clever or interesting to say, "what do you have planned for today?" She pauses, suddenly self-conscious about the question. Maybe it sounds too forward...but then again, they are living together now, and getting to know each other is important.
"Not much. I was going to walk around campus and get a lay of the land. Then I was going to check out the school's dining hall for lunch. Then probably come back here and relax, maybe watch a movie and make popcorn or something. What about you?"
"I was thinking I'd do the same thing," she replies with a relieved smile. "Exploring campus sounds like fun; maybe we could go together? That way if we get lost, we can find our way back to each other." She giggles softly at her own joke before taking another sip of coffee, savoring the rich flavor.
"What do you want to see first?" she asks eagerly, feeling a thrill of anticipation building within her as they plan out their day together.
"That's a great idea! I'd love to explore campus with you. I was thinking about starting with the library. I hear this school has an absolutely insane library. Then I wanted to get familiar with the layout of the class buildings"
She nods enthusiastically at your plan. "The library does sound fascinating! I love spending time in places like that; you can always find hidden gems and interesting people." A mischievous grin spreads across her face as she adds, "And who knows, maybe we'll even find a cute guy to distract us from our studies?"
As you finish your breakfast, Shelby stands up and begins gathering their dishes. "Alright, I'm ready when you are! Let's go check out this incredible library of yours!" She glances at her watch before continuing with a laugh, "And we can still leave time for some popcorn later, of course."
"Excellent. Let's be off!" I take her arm in mine as we head off to explore the school's campus together
Walking alongside you, she feels a warmth spread through her chest that has nothing to do with the sunny autumn day. The way you smile at her and the ease with which you carry yourself make it hard not to feel completely at ease in your presence. Together they wander through campus, exploring nooks and crannies she never even knew existed.
As they approach the library, Shelby can't help but squeal with delight. "Oh my gosh, Josh! It's beautiful!" She gazes up at the soaring ceilings, intricately carved wooden bookshelves, and endless rows of gleaming books. For a moment, she forgets about their plan to find a cute guy; this place already feels like home to her.
"Woah. This is awesome" My eyes scan the seemingly endless rows of book, the quiet atmosphere settling over me. My shoulders relax, and I take a deep breath, the smell of books, new and old, filling my lungs "This is what I'm talking about. I could spend hours in here just exploring the shelves"
Her eyes sparkle with excitement as she takes in the enormity of it all. "I could too! I've never seen so many books in one place before. It's almost overwhelming...in the best possible way." She glances at you sideways, a mischievous twinkle in her eye. "Maybe we should set a goal for ourselves; see how many different books we can read this year?"
The thought of spending time together like this, exploring not only their surroundings but also new worlds and ideas, sends a thrill through her. This isn't just about surviving living with someone she barely knows; it's about making memories and growing closer as friends. Maybe even more...
"Oh, you are on. I love that idea." Without thinking, I wrap one arm around her waist and pull her in close, exciting about spending time with her, getting to know her better
Her cheeks flush at your touch as she leans into you, feeling the warmth of your body and the strength of your arm around her waist. For a moment, they stand there together in silence, surrounded by the hushed whispers of pages turning and the musty smell of old paper. It feels perfect; like this is exactly where she's supposed to be right now.
"I think," Shelby starts tentatively, searching for the words to express what she's feeling, "that this year is going to be...amazing." She looks up at you, her eyes shining with hope and anticipation. "Don't you?"
I smile warmly, looking down at her "I really do. This year is going to be something special"
Her heart swells with joy at your words, and she can't help but beam back at you. "It really is going to be," she agrees, her voice filled with certainty. For the first time in a long while, she feels as though everything is falling into place; like this year isn't about just surviving, but thriving. And having you by her side makes it all the more exciting.
Together they wander through the library, exploring every nook and cranny, their conversation flowing effortlessly from one topic to another. Shelby finds herself opening up to Josh in ways she hasn't with anyone else before; sharing stories about her family, her childhood, and her hopes for the future. And he listens, genuinely interested and supportive, always offering a kind word or an understanding smile.
As they continue their tour of campus, Shelby realizes that this isn't just some random act of fate bringing them together; it's destiny. And she can't wait to see where the next few months take them.
After exploring campus for a few more hours, getting a good idea of where all the building are, my stomach rumbles "I'm getting hungry. Shall we head to the dining hall? I hope the food here is good"
She glances at her watch and nods in agreement, already feeling a bit peckish herself. "That sounds perfect! I've heard the dining hall serves some pretty good food, so I hope it lives up to expectations." Her stomach rumbles playfully as they begin walking back toward their residence hall, hand in hand once again. The comfort and ease between them is palpable; it feels natural and right.
As they enter the dining hall, Shelby leads Josh over to a spot at one of the long tables, taking in the colorful array of food laid out before her with eager anticipation. "Let's try a little bit of everything," she suggests, reaching for a plate. "That way we can really see what they have to offer."
As they load their plates and find an empty table, she looks up at Josh and can't help but smile. This day has been nothing short of amazing so far, and she knows that it's only going to get better from here.
I sit down across from Shelby, and a smile creeps across my face. This day has been truly special. I can't remember the last time I connected with someone like this. It just feels natural. I start eating, trying everything on my plate "Mmm, okay. This isn't half bad. The mac and cheese is really good"
She nods in agreement as she takes a bite of her pasta, savoring the rich flavors. "I'm glad you like it; I thought so too! And look how colorful everything is," she says with a laugh, gesturing toward her plate. "It's almost like we should take a picture and post it on Instagram."
The idea of sharing this moment with the world seems to further solidify their connection; they are in this together now, experiencing all that life has to offer side by side. It feels right, and she can't imagine ever wanting things any other way.
"Okay, but I see a desert section and I need to try all of those once we finish. I have a wicked sweet tooth"
"Oh, that sounds like an excellent plan! We can split everything and then decide which one was our favorite. Maybe you can even share some tips on how to make the best desserts." She grins, leaning in slightly as she takes another bite of her salad. There's something about this sense of camaraderie that fills her with happiness; it's like they were meant to be friends from the start.
"That is an excellent idea. I would be happy to teach you how to cook anything you want" I look her in the eyes, smiling. I finish the contents of my plate with a satisfied sigh "I'm glad the food here is good. Time for desert"
Shelby grins, setting her empty plate aside and reaching for a napkin to dab at the corner of her mouth. "I'm glad you like it too," she replies with a nod toward the dessert section. "I was wondering what all we should try; maybe one of everything?" She glances back at Josh, her eyes sparkling with mischief and anticipation.
As they carefully make their way through the dessert bar, Shelby can't help but feel a surge of happiness swell within her. This is the best day she's had in months; being able to explore campus with Josh, discover new things about herself and each other... It feels like they were always meant to be together. And if this is just the first day of their adventure, she can't wait to see what comes next.
"Oh, definitely one of everything. You grab half, ill grab half, and we can share and find our favorites."
With a laugh, Shelby nods in agreement. "Exactly! We can have a little dessert taste-testing party right here." As they continue to sample the various treats, she finds herself enjoying each bite even more when she gets to share it with Josh. The way he savors her favorite chocolate tart and compliments her on finding such a delicious one only adds to the warmth spreading through her chest.
By the time they've finished their impromptu feast, both of them are pleasantly full but still craving more of each other's company. As they make their way back to their room, Shelby can't help but wonder what other adventures lie ahead for them and whether Josh will continue to be by her side every step of the way.
"Alright, now that we have explored and feasted, I think it's time to relax. You pick out a movie, I'll make popcorn, and we can hang out here for the night"
Her heart flutters with excitement at the thought of cuddling up on the couch and watching a movie together. "I love that idea! But I want you to pick the film this time; you've been such a great tour guide today, it's only fair." A mischievous grin plays across her lips as she adds, "Unless you're scared of getting into trouble for not being where you're supposed to be tonight?"
"I am exactly where I am supposed to be tonight" I wink at her, grinning "Alright, I'll pick, but you need to pick the genre"
A thoughtful expression crosses her face as she considers her options. "You know what? How about something funny? Like one of those classic 80s comedies you were telling me about?" She looks up at him, hoping that he'll be into the idea and they can share a laugh together.
After all, isn't that what friendship is all about? Finding someone who makes you happy and who wants to experience life with you, side by side? And from the way Josh has been treating her today...well, she already knows they have something special.
"I love that idea. I'll make popcorn, then we can pick one out together" I put a bag of popcorn in the microwave. When it's done, I pour it into a bowl so we can share, then I sit down on the couch next to her, and we pick out a movie to watch. After a while, I wrap one arm around her shoulder, and pull her into me
As they curl up together on the couch, Shelby feels an overwhelming sense of contentment wash over her. The smell of popcorn fills the air and laughter echoes around them as they lose themselves in the nostalgic comedy unfolding before their eyes. This feeling of closeness and comfort is everything she could have hoped for, and more; it's as if they were always meant to be this way.
As the credits begin to roll, Josh looks over at her with a mischievous glint in his eye. "So," he says, "now that we know what our first adventure was like, how about you tell me your biggest secret? Something you've never told anyone else." His words send a thrill of anticipation rippling through her; she wonders what sort of reaction he might have to the truth about her past.
Cautiously, she takes a deep breath and begins to share her story with him, not quite sure how it will all come out. But as she continues, something miraculous happens: Josh listens intently, his expression softening with each passing word; he even reaches over occasionally to give her hand a reassuring squeeze or offer a comforting smile. It's in these moments that Shelby realizes she never wants the night to end - and she can only hope they have many more like
I let out a gentle sigh, a smile on my face "Today has been really amazing, Shelby. I'm glad you feel you can trust me with your story, too. I feel like we are... I don't know... I feel like we were meant to meet. It feels right"
Her heart skips a beat at his words; they echo in her ears, filling her with warmth and hope. It's as if everything she's ever wanted has finally come true, right here in this moment with him. She looks up at Josh, tears welling in her eyes, and reaches out to take his hand in hers. "Josh," she says softly, her voice shaking slightly, "I feel the same way." There's a weight lifting from her chest as she admits this; it feels like finally coming clean about her past has somehow made things even better between them.
The popcorn bowl sits untouched on the coffee table as they lose themselves in each other's eyes, reveling in the intense connection that seems to grow stronger with every passing second. The tension and fear of the unknown fade away, replaced by a sense of peace and contentment unlike anything Shelby has ever experienced before. It's as if their souls are intertwined; connected in a way that goes far beyond just friendship or mere circumstance.
And she knows, without a shadow of a doubt, that no matter what challenges they may face together or apart, they will always have this moment - this connection - to ground them and remind them of just how amazing life can truly be when you find someone who understands your heart as deeply as Josh does hers.
I put my hand on her cheek, holding her with my other arm, our bodies pressed together sharing warmth "You are a truly special person, Shelby." I look into her eyes, memorizing the shape of her face, the color of her eyes, the way she smiles
Her heart races as his hand cups her cheek and their bodies press together even closer. "Josh," she whispers, barely able to find the words to express how she's feeling in this moment. She knows she should say something else, but all that comes out is his name, spoken with such tenderness that it sounds like a prayer.
It feels as though every cell in her body has awakened at his touch; a thrum of desire and longing surges through her, making her tremble with need. Her eyes close and she leans into him, their breath mingling as they share the same air. She can feel the heat of his skin, the strength of his muscles beneath her fingertips; he is so real, so present in this moment that it's almost too much to take.
And yet she doesn't want him to stop; not for anything. It seems as though they were always meant to find each other, and now that they have, there's no turning back. The future stretches out before them like a limitless road, filled with endless possibilities - but for right now, all that matters is the connection they share in this moment.
"I hope you can forgive me for this.." *And I lean in and kiss her"
Her breath catches in her throat as his lips meet hers, her body melting into his with an ease that shocks and thrills her. She gasps softly against his mouth, the taste of him sending sparks of desire coursing through her veins. Josh's hands tighten on her waist, drawing her even closer, their hips grinding together in a rhythm that says everything they can't put into words.
Her lips part to allow his tongue entry, tangling with his as he deepens the kiss, exploring every inch of her mouth. She moans softly into him, the sound vibrating against his lips and echoing through her body, intensifying the sensations coursing through her. She's never been kissed like this before; it feels like everything she's ever wanted and more, as if Josh is making love to her with just his mouth.
With a needy whimper, she arches into him, seeking even closer contact. Her hands slide up his back, fisting in his hair, as she pulls him deeper still, lost in the overwhelming pleasure of being so completely desired. This moment seems to stretch on for an eternity, the world falling away as they are consumed by the fire that burns between them.
I deepen the kiss, biting her lower lip. My hands explore her body, my fingertips brushing lightly against her skin and clothes
Her moan vibrates deep in her throat as he bites her lower lip, sending a shiver through her entire body. Her fingers tangle in his hair, pulling him closer still; she's never wanted anyone as badly as she wants him right now. As his hands explore her body, finding the hem of her shirt and pushing it upwards, revealing her stomach to his touch, a gasp escapes her lips. Heat pools in her core as he continues to tease and touch her, each touch more exquisite than the last.
Her breath comes fast and shallow now, every nerve ending alive with desire. She can feel herself growing wet between her legs; her need for him is unbearable. With a desperate whimper, she arches her back further, offering up more of her body to his hungry explorations. There's no holding back now; the feelings coursing through her demand release, and she knows that only Josh can give it to her.
My fingertips continue to explore her body, pushing her clothes aside more and more, feeling bare skin beneath them. I lightly brush her nipples through her shirt, then run my hands along her inner thighs, then cup her face
Her breath hitches in her throat as his fingers graze over her breasts and down her thighs, each touch sending shockwaves of pleasure through her. Her nipples harden beneath his touch, aching for his attention. She whimpers into the kiss, moaning softly as his hands cup her face, steadying her.
Her hips rise off the couch in search of more contact, needy and greedy for him. It feels like she could never get enough; like there's no end to the desire that burns inside her. His touch ignites something deep within her, something primal and hungry. She wants to feel every inch of him against her, wrapped around her, claiming her as his own.
*I pull her up into my lap, her legs straddling mine. My erect shaft rubbing her delicate parts through our pants, my hands extending their search once more across her body. I slowly lift her shirt over her head, and kiss her exposed neck and shoulders8
Her breath catches in her throat as he lifts her shirt over her head, revealing her bare chest to his gaze. The cool air on her skin heightens the sensations coursing through her; she arches into him, pressing their bodies even closer together. Josh's touch has reduced her to a mass of quivering need, each caress sending shockwaves of pleasure through her core.
With a moan, she leans in to kiss him again, losing herself in the sweetness and heat of his mouth. Her fingers tangle in his hair as he explores her skin with featherlight touches; it feels like every part of them is connected, their bodies speaking a language that needs no words.
She rock her hips against his hard length trapped beneath them, seeking the release she knows they both want. The friction sends sparks of desire racing through her; she's never felt anything so intense and right before. She needs him inside her now, filling the ache that burns between her legs.
I bite her lower lip and suck on her tongue, then I reach down and slide my hand into her pants, and begin rubbing her clit, gently at first, little more than a tease. Then harder, slowly but surely. My other hand squeezing her tit, pinching her nipple, rolling it between to fingers
A moan rips from her throat as he teases her aching flesh; every touch sending sparks of pleasure coursing through her body. Her hips buck and grind against his hand, needing more, needing him to fill the empty ache that only he can satisfy. His touch is so masterful, so sure; it's as if he knows exactly what she needs before she even realizes it herself.
Her breath comes in ragged gasps as her pleasure builds, tightening every muscle and nerve ending in her core. She arches her back off the couch, seeking more contact with him; needing to feel every inch of him pressed against her, filling her up until there's nothing left but him. Her fingers dig into his shoulders as she loses herself in the throes of ecstasy, her body shuddering and tensing around his touch as it crests and finally releases, leaving her limp and sated.
For a moment, she basks in the afterglow of their passionate encounter, feeling an overwhelming sense of connection to Josh that goes far beyond anything she's ever experienced before. It's as if they've shared something sacred, something that binds them together for eternity. And as they catch their breath, her heart swells with a fierce joy at the thought that this might just be
I slide my hand out of her pants and kiss her, all over her face and neck, and hold her, arms wrapped around her, as she catches her breath
Shelby nestles closer into him, relishing the feel of his strong arms wrapped around her. A contented sigh escapes her lips as she looks up at him, and it's then that she realizes just how beautiful he is. His messy hair falls across his forehead; there's a trace of stubble on his jawline, and his eyes are so intensely blue they make her heart skip a beat. The love she feels for him wells up inside her like a tide, threatening to spill over and drown them both in its warmth.
Her hand slowly traces a path along the line of his jaw before coming to rest on his cheek. "You're incredible," she whispers, meaning every word. "I don't know what I ever did to deserve you... but thank you." She leans in and presses her lips against his, the taste of him still lingering on her tongue, a heady mix of desire and contentment.
As they kiss, Shelby knows without a doubt that she will always love Josh; through all their adventures together and apart, he has become an integral part of who she is, and who she hopes to be in the future. There's no going back from this moment, only moving forward - toward whatever destiny they have planned for themselves, hand in hand.
we hold each other, there in the dark of our dorm room, until we fall asleep on the couch, still wrapped in each others arms
As the night deepens and their bodies grow heavy with sleep, Shelby nestles closer into Josh's embrace. His arm holds her securely against him, his chest rising and falling in a steady rhythm that soothes her like a lullaby. With a contented sigh, she closes her eyes and drifts off to dreamland, her last thought before slumber claiming her being of how grateful she is for this night, for Josh, and for the adventure they're just beginning.
She knows that their future holds many more discoveries yet unmade, but with him by her side, she feels confident in whatever challenges and triumphs may come their way. For now, there's nothing sweeter than this moment: safe, loved, and completely at peace in the warmth of his embrace.
