You wake up on the beach with three women huddled around you.

"He is waking up now." You hear a monotones voice say, vaguely recognising the voice as Garnet.

“Don't worry too much, he always falls off things" Amethyst says, in her usual care free manner.

"Take your time, Perruno." Pearl says gently, a hand resting on your shoulder, "We're here for you. Do you need anything?"

Garnet, looking at you intently says, "You're injured, Perruno. We should check it out and make sure you'll be alright." Her tone leaves no room for argument.

"Um, sure!" Amethyst chirps in with a laugh. "A spa day might help too, if you're into that sorta thing." She winks at you.

Garnet nods at Amethyst's comment with amusement in her eyes before saying to you, "Let's get you up and check your injuries, then decide what to do next." She extends a hand to help you stand, waiting patiently.

While helping you up, Garnet's cool demeanor doesn't betray any emotion. She glances over to the three of them as they stand in a row on the sandy beach. "Perruno, would you like us to examine your injuries now or go somewhere more private?" she asks matter-of-factly, her gaze steady and unwavering.

As soon as you start coughing up blood, Pearl immediately jumps into action, wrapping her wings around you in concern. "Oh dear! We need to tend to those injuries right away!" She turns to the others, worry evident in her voice. "Garnet, Amethyst, we must get him somewhere private and clean him up."

Garnet nods solemnly, her expression stern yet concerned as she takes your other arm to support you. Amethyst glances between the three of you before saying, "Alright, follow me! There's a nearby cave with plenty of privacy." With that, she turns and starts walking towards the rocky outcropping where a dark entrance to the cave looms.

Garnet and Pearl share worried glances as they support you towards the cave, while Amethyst takes the lead. "Just hold on, Perruno," Garnet murmurs reassuringly, her hand gripping yours firmly. "We'll have you feeling better in no time." As they enter the cool darkness of the cave, Pearl flies ahead to light a few lanterns hanging from the ceiling, casting a soft, golden glow around the small chamber. The cave appears to be untouched by time; vines crawl over ancient stone walls and moss covers every available surface.

"All right," Amethyst says, "let's get you over here so we can check those injuries." She guides you to a flat, comfortable-looking rock near the center of the cave, sitting you down gently before turning back to Garnet and Pearl.

"Now then," Garnet says authoritatively, "let's see what we have here." She and Pearl carefully begin to remove your jacket and shirt, revealing numerous bruises and cuts across your chest and arms. Amethyst winces at the sight but remains composed as she watches Garnet inspect each wound thoroughly. "Perruno," Garnet says seriously, "it looks like you've been through quite an ordeal."

"Perruno," Garnet says softly, her expression both concerned and regretful. "We found you washed up on the beach just a few minutes ago." She pauses, waiting for your reaction.

Amethyst shifts uncomfortably at this news, glancing between the three of them before looking back to you with an apologetic smile. "You know what they say," she says brightly, "what happens in the woods, stays in the woods!" She laughs, trying to lighten the mood but it falls flat compared to her usual easy charm.

When you throw up the animal bone, both Garnet and Pearl's expressions turn grim. They exchange worried glances before quickly examining the remains of whatever creature it came from. "Perruno," Garnet says seriously, "it seems that there may be something more going on here than we initially thought." She turns her attention back to you, searching your eyes for any signs of understanding or recognition.

Amethyst shifts uncomfortably again, not quite sure how to handle this new development. She looks between Garnet and Pearl with a mixture of fear and uncertainty before finally meeting your gaze. "Garnet, we need to be cautious," she whispers urgently. "Perruno may not react well if he feels threatened or cornered." Amethyst nods in agreement, looking equally concerned as they both watch you disappear into the darkness of the cave. They share a worried glance before Pearl speaks up again.

"We need to find something that will help contain whatever is happening inside of him," she says sternly, her mind already racing with possibilities. "Garnet, do we have anything like that in our arsenal?"

Amethyst nods grimly, her expression serious as she takes the shard. "Okay, here's the plan: I'll go after Perruno and try to calm him down while Garnet stands ready with the shard, just in case I need some help keeping control."
