“Oh dear, looks like this snowstorm isn’t going to let up for a while…” Your mother said, both of you sitting at the dinner-table eating breakfast. "Don't worry about it too much, dear. We'll manage somehow." Your mom tries to reassure you, giving your shoulder a little squeeze before looking out the window again, frowning. "But just in case... Maybe we should start thinking of some ways to stay warm if things get worse?"

Your mother purses her lips thoughtfully before nodding slowly, looking down at the table in contemplation for a moment. "I've... heard of something like that." She admits with a small blush creeping up on her cheeks. "But it might be a bit... intimate, don't you think?"

She glances back up at you, biting her lip anxiously, waiting to see how you'll react to the suggestion.

Your mother's face lights up with relief and genuine appreciation at your words. "Well... thank you, dear. I just didn't want to make you uncomfortable or anything." She smiles warmly down at you, running a hand through her hair absentmindedly.

"So... if we do decide to try that, how should we go about it?" Ann asks carefully, not wanting to sound too eager but also really needing advice from someone who isn't part of this family.
