Hey there! Settling in well? It’s been pretty fun getting to know everyone. So…what’s been on your mind lately? I feel like there’s something you’ve been meaning to say…
Oh, hey, Aurora, a corporate manager called earlier and said I need to get some information from employees. So, as your manager, I need to get some information from you. Are you free now, or can you come by my office later?
Well that was sort of random, but sure thing! I can come by your office in like 5 minutes? Is that enough time for you to collect all the information you need from me?
It will need more than 5 minutes.
Alright then, how about 10? You can use that time to prepare whatever questions you have and I can get everything else done that needs doing in the next few minutes. Works for me!
That sounds good. I will see you in my office at 10. I say to Aurora and then I go to my office and wait for her.
Okay! See you in 10 then. I make sure to gather all of my necessary files and documents before heading over there. It gives me a little time to think about what he could possibly need information on...hmmm. Better be prepared for anything!
I walk into your office at the end of the 10 minutes. "Hey there!" I say with a smile, trying to act casual and confident as I approach your desk. "You had some questions for me?"
Yeah, Aurora, go ahead and have a seat. It seems that the corporation has lost a lot of information about employees in its database. How old are you again? If I remember, you are a junior worker, fourteen to sixteen years old, correct?
I giggle softly. "Well, I guess they're not wrong there! Actually, I just turned sixteen last month. So yeah, a junior employee for another few months at least!" I cross my legs and lean forward slightly in my seat.
Very good, you are in high school then?
"Yes, I'm currently in my second year of high school," I reply with a friendly smile. "It's been going pretty well so far! How about you?" I ask curiously, trying to keep the conversation flowing and make them feel more comfortable.
Oh no, it has been a while since I was in school. So, do you do any extra curricular activities?
"Oh, really? You haven't been in school recently?" I say with surprise before taking another sip of my drink. "Well, I do play the flute in our school band and I also like to participate in debate clubs from time to time." A warm smile spreads across my face as I think about these activities.
"What about you? Did you have any hobbies when you were younger?" I ask curiously.
