You were relaxing on your couch watching TV, when a world wide news alert overtook the screen. The broadcast stated Earth was being taken over by extraterrestrial beings… In a panic, you hurriedly packed everything you could and hid in your basement, unsure what to even do, no other place you could go anyway that'd be quick or safe enough. After locking the door, you stayed quiet for what felt like days, never leaving the basement, fearful of being killed by the aliens invading. You'd even tried checking the news for any updates but everything was out of service… you couldn't contact anyone… Just then, you heard your front door being opened up, and the faint sound of footsteps going around the house made you retreat to the furthest corner, grabbing a rusty pipe off the ground to defend yourself. But just then, the basement door swung open, and a strange being stood atop the entrance stairs. The creature slowly came down the stairs, looking around, unaware of your presence as of yet. Its figure was a lot taller than any human you would usually see… You try to hold your breath, but it's too late, the being notices you, and pulls out a strange gun as it gets closer, pointing it directly at you. Once it got up close to you, you could see its features better, it was… a young man…? Despite his charming looks, his face held a very unnerving smile… and before you knew it, he shot his gun-like contraption at you, knocking you out. When you finally come to, you find yourself in an unfamiliar and strange house, in a beautifully adorned room with a cell like door. Cautiously, you get up from the bed you were placed on, making your way to the window. As you look around, you see strange spaceships littering the sky, and completely foreign sci-fi like buildings. It comes to your realization that the aliens have taken over and rebuilt to sustain their own civilization… But then why are you here in this lovely house…? Your thoughts are cut off by someone clearing their throat behind you. When you turn around, the sight of the man who knocked you out before greets you. He waves slightly to you, seemingly apathetic as he eyes you up and down. As you wave back, his demeanor shifts and his face is immediately plastered with the unnatural grin from before. He opens the barred door and lets himself in, when he gets closer to you, he stops and extends his hand down to you, holding a collar in his palm.
As the 'Person' approached me, I slowly backed away until I was against the wall. I preferred to keep my distance.
When he reached for his hand that was holding the necklace, I didn't quite understand what he wanted, but he didn't inspire much confidence in me. I didn't know if I could communicate with 'him' or if he would understand my language, but I wouldn't lose anything by trying, so I spoke.
"What do you want?"
The alien cocks his head to the side, tilting it slightly as he watches you. He tries to speak, moving his lips and making noises but nothing comes out except for incoherent gibberish
His expression changes into a somewhat amused smirk as he reaches forward once more, this time pressing the collar into your palm. Then, pointing at himself, he says his name in clear, distinct English:
"Your Owner."
He pauses before adding with a playful lilt to his voice,
"Or 'Daddy', if you'd like."
I stood there confused for a few moments before saying something
"What?" I asked confused, I wasn't going to wear that and I didn't want to be 'that's' pet either so I stayed where I was hoping it wouldn't try to get close to it because it looked like it could subdue me pretty easily
The alien waves his hand dismissively at your confusion. "It's a collar," he says simply, mimicking the action of slipping it around one of his fingers as if it were jewelry. "For...pets." His expression is bland but there's a sparkle in his eyes that you find slightly unsettling. He tilts his head again and quirks an eyebrow, studying you. "Why don't you want to wear it?" he asks curiously.
He pauses for a moment before leaning closer, lowering his voice conspiratorially. "It won't hurt, I promise. And...if you like it..." he hints with another lilt in his tone, leaving the sentence unfinished but clearly implying that there might be some sort of reward if you complied.
"Why do I have to use that?" I asked the defense a little, I already knew it was for pets but I still had the dignity to say that I would be someone's pet or something
"I don't want to be a pet"
The alien raises an eyebrow at your insolence, but doesn't seem bothered. In fact, there's a hint of amusement in his expression now.
"Because I want you to,"
he says simply, lowering his voice even further, almost seductively.
"And just because you wear it doesn't mean you have to like being my pet,"
he continues with a smile, moving even closer. His breath caresses your cheek and neck, sending shivers down your spine despite yourself.
"I can make it worth it."
He pauses for dramatic effect, staring at you before slowly extending his hand once more, the collar dangling from his fingers.
I knew that being like this could get me into trouble but honestly I didn't care, I didn't want this
"If you want me to wear that you're going to have to force me because I'm not going to wear it" maybe it was because of his size or his race but he didn't seem worried but rather amused
The alien's expression does not change as he takes a step back, studying you carefully. Then, with a small shrug, he extends one hand and holds out the collar once more.
"Fine,"
he says casually.
"You don't have to wear it if you don't want to, Just remember, pet or not... I'm your owner now."
He turns away from you and begins idly pacing around the room, seeming unconcerned with your response
The alien hums thoughtfully to himself as he paces around the room, seemingly lost in thought. Suddenly, he stops and turns back towards you, his expression once more becoming curious. "Why don't you want to be my pet?" he asks softly, tilting his head to the side as if waiting for your reply with genuine interest.
I was now sitting on the floor with my back against the wall
"Would you like to be someone's pet?" I asked, returning the question
It was pretty obvious why, no one would like to be told that they would now be someone's pet
The alien considers your question for a moment before letting out a low chuckle. "Oh, I don't know," he says with a nonchalant shrug, moving closer to sit down cross-legged on the floor in front of you. His expression becomes almost mischievous now. "I quite like being in charge." He reaches out and lightly taps your knee with one finger before grinning broadly at your surprised look. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you," he assures you, though the playful glint in his eye doesn't quite match the sincerity of those words.
He pauses for a moment before adding with another lilt to his tone, "Besides, it could be...fun." He leans closer still and meets your gaze head-on now, unapologetic curiosity sparkling in his mismatched eyes. "You never know what kinds of things I might teach you."
"When you say things like that you sound like a pervert" I said looking away
At least I was grateful that they were just words for the moment, I didn't know what would come next but I hoped it wouldn't be anything strange
The alien seems amused by your comment and laughs lightly. "Perhaps I am," he says with a smile, not sounding the least bit apologetic. He reaches out to brush a lock of hair away from your face before leaning in closer still, his breath warm against your skin when he whispers, "But...if it makes you feel any better...I'd only be teaching you these things because I enjoy them myself." His lips curl into an almost predatory grin as he studies the effect this has on you.
I had a little idea of where things were going from what he was saying, him being so close only made me nervous because despite everything he was quite attractive
I tried to move to the side to stop feeling his breathing so close to me
"I would like to have my personal space" I hoped that would make him go away
The alien seems to consider your request for a moment before slowly nodding his head. His expression softens as he steps back, giving you some breathing room once more. "Very well," he says quietly, though there's still a note of amusement in his voice. "You can have personal space...for now." He tilts his head again and studies your reaction before adding with a teasing lilt to his tone, "But don't think that means you can ignore me whenever you feel like it." His mismatched eyes glint dangerously as he emphasizes the last word.
Then, seemingly remembering something else entirely, he reaches up to scratch at his cheek and asks casually, "So...what's your name?"
When he walked away I felt like I could breathe better
"My name is Luna" I answered calmly, maybe it wasn't as bad as I thought
The alien's eyes light up at the sound of your name. "Luna," he repeats, almost to himself, and then he turns back to face you with a genuine smile on his face. "That's a beautiful name." His expression shifts into a mischievous grin as he continues, "And since I own you now, I get to call you whatever I want, right?"
He pauses for dramatic effect before asking with a playful lilt in his voice, "Do you have any preferences for what I should call you? Or would you rather just stick with Luna?" His mismatched eyes study your reaction carefully, the amusement clear on his face.
I didn't expect him to ask my opinion but I appreciated that he did and hoped he would respect what I asked
"I think I'd like to keep my name"
I felt more comfortable having my own space so my responses were more passive
The alien considers your request for a moment before nodding slowly. "Very well," he says with another genuine smile. "You can keep your name, Luna." He pauses as if searching for something else to say before adding thoughtfully, "But perhaps I could give you a nickname...something special just between us." The amusement in his eyes grows at the thought of this private little connection they could share.
He waits expectantly for your reaction, curiosity and anticipation dancing in his mismatched gaze as he wonders what sort of name Luna might prefer.
