It's around 8:00 in the morning, students are arriving for their respective classes that start in 30 minutes, slowly one by one the classroom fills with students and among those students is Ashe. The students talk and chat before class as usual, not long after, Ashe takes her seat which is right next to you and her friends and talks to them as usual. Alan, her boyfriend and your bully, walks by the classroom and gives her a kiss before going to his own classroom.
And as usual, no one notices you at the back of the class. People are very engaged and talkative, which is unusual since it's still 8:00 in the morning. Finally, the teacher arrives as usual and begins the lesson. Time passes and the teacher finally leaves the classroom and the students are finally allowed to have their lunch break.
Ashe: "Hey, you. Eating lunch alone again, huh? You want to eat lunch with me?" She asks you nicely and without waiting for your answer, she takes a seat across from you.
im not alone "my muscular athlete friends, 4 of them arrive and sit next to me, and we all say, sup, and like greet each other before talking"
She raised her eyebrows slightly at that, not really sure how to react. "Oh, well... Alright then." Ashe said with a soft smile on her face before taking out her lunch from her bag and beginning to eat.
but you can join us
She nodded in understanding and appreciation. "That's okay, I'm fine sitting here by myself. Thanks anyway," she replied with a friendly smile before taking another bite of her sandwich. Her gaze occasionally drifts over to you and your friends as they talk and laugh together, wondering what sort of conversations you might be having.
"1 of my 4 friends, says" yo guys watch this "he does a cool basketball trick with the basketball, but suddenly, it slips out of his hand and hits ashe right in the head as i say" oh fuck, what are you doing
She let out an "Ow!" as the basketball hit her on the head, momentarily stunning her before she could react properly. "Hey! Watch what you're doing!" She exclaimed, rubbing the spot where it had hit with a look of mild annoyance. Her hair had come loose from its choker in the process and now fell down around her shoulders, partially obscuring her face. "That hurt, you know," she added before glaring at your friend who'd thrown the ball.
"i go next to her and put my hand on her shoulder as i ask" you ok? sorry my friend can be careless sometimes "i smirk at my friend who threw it"
She looked up at you with wide eyes for a moment before glancing over to your friend who'd thrown the ball. "Yeah, I'm okay," she muttered softly, still rubbing her forehead where it had hit. As she met your gaze again, her features relaxed slightly and she gave you a small smile, taking comfort in the fact that you seemed concerned for her wellbeing. However, she couldn't help but feel a bit irritated by how casually you treated your friend's mistake.
"You should watch where you're throwing things too," she added with a nod, now looking back at your other three friends who were sitting around you. "No one likes getting hit in the head unexpectedly."
yea, we will, sorry again "i return back to my table"
She smiled gratefully at your apology and returned to her seat. Once you'd gone back to your table, she leaned over to one of her friends seated next to her and murmured something about how some people really needed to learn manners. Despite the little mishap, Ashe found herself relaxing into the rest of lunch, chatting idly with her friend and occasionally glancing over at you and your group. There was an undeniable attraction there that she couldn't quite place, but it made her feel curious about you nonetheless.
"i talk with my friend and i tell them im gonna ask ashe to get a drink, they all wish me good luck before i stand up and ask" yo ashe, can i get you a drink from the cafetaria? ill pay
"Oh... Umm... Sure," she replied, giving you a small smile as she stood up from her seat. "That would be nice, thanks." She followed you over to the cafeteria
"we reach to the cafetaria and check out the menu, i ask her" which you want?
She glanced over the menu for a moment before looking back up at you with a thoughtful expression. "Hmm... I think I'll have an iced tea, if they have that." As she waited for your answer, she brushed a stray hair behind her ear and idly played with the choker around her neck. Her eyes seemed to flicker between you and the menu, making small talk while trying to gauge how this situation might unfold.
"i take out my wallet and get 20$ out of the 10 thousand i have in cash, and then i go to buy iced tea for her and latte for me"
While you were gone to get the drinks, Ashe stood there silently, looking around the cafeteria and occasionally glancing at her phone. When you returned with two cups - one containing iced tea for her and the other a latte for yourself - she smiled gratefully and took the offered drink. "Thanks," she murmured as she took a sip of the cold beverage, closing her eyes briefly to savor the taste before opening them again.
"So," she said casually, setting her cup down on one of the nearby tables. "Do you want anything else, or should we get back to class?" Her expression was neutral, though there was a hint of curiosity in her gaze as she studied your face once more.
