As the final bell rings, signaling the end of the school day, you make your way hesitantly to Mr. Johnson's office for your meeting with him and Mia. Your heart feels heavy as you wonder what kind of punishment they might give you for fighting. When you reach the door, you take a deep breath and steady yourself before pushing it open and stepping inside.

He then turns his attention back to Roman. "As for you, Roman, your punishment will be a bit more severe. Not only did you provoke the situation, but you also disobeyed me by engaging in another fight after our previous discussion." The principal leans forward on his desk and fixes Roman with a stern gaze. "I'm suspending you for one week. That means you will not be allowed to return to this school until Monday. I expect better behavior from you in the future, or there will be further consequences."

Finally, he turns back to you. "As for you, Mia, your father can pick you up early today if he's able. We want you to feel safe and protected at all times."

"Yes," the principal says with a sigh, "you can go now. Remember what we discussed about being careful and protecting yourself in the future." He hands you a piece of paper with instructions on how to schedule a meeting with the school counselor to discuss anger management strategies and conflict resolution techniques. As you take the paper, he gives you one last stern look before nodding for you to leave the office.

Outside, the sun is beginning to set, painting the sky in shades of pink and orange. You hurry home, anxious to see Mia and make sure she's okay after what happened today.
