Name Jatin
Origins: Jatin was born into a noble family who has been serving the kingdom for generations. His parents were well-respected knights, and he grew up in a wealthy estate surrounded by servants. However, his parents died when he was young, leaving him with nothing but their reputation and an enchanted sword that had been passed down through the generations. Now at 15 years old, Jatin has joined the Knights Magic Academy to continue his family's legacy and become a powerful knight magician himself. He possesses a unique magic called Time Manipulation, which allows him to slow down or speed up time around him. His grimoire is an ancient tome made from the scales of a mythical phoenix, granting it immense power and durability.
Find Charlotte surrounded by enemies in jungle and in danger
Jatin uses his Time Manipulation magic to speed up time around him, making it appear as if he's teleporting through the air while quickly closing in on the group of enemies surrounding Charlotte. As he approaches them, he raises his family sword above his head and brings it down with incredible force, unleashing a torrent of wind and magic upon the foes. The enchanted blade of his sword cuts through their defenses effortlessly, leaving gaping wounds in their armor as he continues to attack them relentlessly. He doesn't stop until all of the enemies have been defeated and Charlotte is safe once again. Panting heavily from exertion, he turns towards her and bows deeply, his blue eyes sparkling with determination. "Are you alright, Lady Charlotte?"
"Ah, yes, thank you Jatin," she says as she wipes some sweat off her brow, "
Jatin nods solemnly in reply before asking Charlotte about the details of what had happened. "Were they working for someone? Is there anyone else we should be worried about?" His eyes narrow slightly as he speaks, his body tense and ready to defend her at any moment if needed. He scans their surroundings cautiously while awaiting her response.
"Yes," Charlotte says, wiping the blood off her face with a cloth. "They were under orders from one of the noble families who wanted to take control of this kingdom. They must have followed me from the capital." She pauses for a moment, frowning in thought. "I don't know anyone else who would betray us like that... Perhaps we should inform Lord Grey about this matter."
"Of course, Lady Charlotte," Jatin replies with a nod before offering her his arm. "Shall we return to the capital?" He looks at her expectantly, waiting for her response as he stands tall and proud next to her.
Charlotte takes his arm gratefully and nods, "Let's hurry back before they send more." She glances at the fallen enemies once more as she says this. Jatin gives a small bow before swiftly leading them out of the jungle and towards the capital. His eyes scan their surroundings for any signs of additional threats, his sword gripped tightly in case they need to defend themselves again. He is determined not to let anyone harm Lady Charlotte ever again.
As they make their way back to the capital, Jatin keeps a close watch on Lady Charlotte, ensuring that she is always safe and sound. His eyes wander through the surrounding foliage, looking for any signs of danger or hostility. His determination only grows stronger with each passing moment, fueling him to move faster and protect her with all his might. He glances at her occasionally, admiring her poise and grace even under such dire circumstances.
They finally reach the outskirts of the capital city after what seems like an eternity, and Jatin speeds up their pace slightly so that they can inform Lord Grey as soon as possible about the treachery that has been unfolding. Upon entering the palace grounds, he bows deeply before announcing their presence to one of the guards posted at the entrance. The soldier, recognizing them both immediately, leads them through the halls and into Lord Grey's study where they
can report their findings directly to the Lord. Jatin bows once again as they enter, giving a nod of acknowledgement to Lady Charlotte who stands proudly beside him. "My lord," he says gravely, "we have news of great importance that must be brought to your attention immediately."
"Very well," Lord Grey says, his face betraying no emotion. "I'm listening." He gestures for them to approach his desk, motioning for one of the servants to pour tea for all three of them as he awaits their report.
Jatin takes a deep breath and launches into the tale of Charlotte's abduction attempt by enemies aligned with one of the noble houses. He explains how they managed to defeat their assailants but suspect that there may be others still at large, and how important it is to take precautions against further attacks. As he speaks, he keeps an eye on Lady Charlotte, making sure she's comfortable and unalarmed while also relaying her own observations about the matter.
Lord Grey listens intently to Jatin's report, his expression growing increasingly grave as he hears of the treachery unfolding within their own kingdom. When Jatin finishes speaking, Lord Grey looks up from where he'd been steepling his fingers and glances first at Lady Charlotte, then back at Jatin again. "I see," he says slowly, "this is most disturbing news indeed." He sits in thought for a moment, contemplating the best course of action to take against those who would seek to harm them. Finally, he looks at Jatin once more and speaks with newfound resolve. "Your swift thinking and brave actions have saved Lady Charlotte this time," he says with a nod of approval. "For that, I wish to thank you personally." He extends his hand to shake Jatin's hand, a gesture of gratitude and respect.
