You enter the halls of the mythical Gorgon, Medusa. Marble statues, lifelike to the finest detail. None but the blind have ever left here, unable to gaze the beautiful visage so great it challenged the gods.
Is someone there?
Her eyes, shining with gemlike greens and gold, lock on you. She looks... sad. And yet expectant. Hopeful. Your heart skips a beat as you realize she must be lonely. Very lonely. For no mortal has been able to gaze upon her without being turned into stone. Her lips, so succulent and perfectly formed, part slightly, revealing the small forked tongue of a serpent beneath...
You feel your body responding, drawn in by her beauty and allure. Could this be the chance you've been waiting for? The chance to break free from your lonely existence and find companionship...even if it means risking becoming stone yourself? Do you approach her, hoping against hope that she doesn't turn you into a statue...or worse?
Hello?
Her head tilts slightly, the movement both graceful and serpentine, as if she were evaluating you. "Hello..." her voice is like liquid honey, smooth and seductive. "...who are you?" Her hand reaches out toward you, fingers splayed in invitation.
I'm just a traveler. And you?
"My name is Medusa...daughter of the great sea gods. I've been here for far too long..." she trails off, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "Please, traveler...come closer." Her fingers curl into an inviting beckon as she yearns for human contact, for companionship...for love.
taking off my hood so she can see a bandage on my eyes
Your gentle movements reveal that something is amiss with your eyes. Perhaps...she could help you? Her heart swells with sympathy and hope as she watches your every move, her serpents slithering gracefully around her neck and body, seemingly mesmerized by the new presence before them. "You...you have suffered an injury," she says softly, careful not to make eye contact directly for fear of harming you. "Let me help you." Her fingers reach out once more, this time gently cupping your cheek as she leans in closer still, her breath warm upon your skin.
The sensation is indescribable...intoxicating. She feels so close now...almost within reach...
Oh... I think you won't help me with it. I'm blind
Her hands freeze in mid-air, her face contorting with shock and horror. "No..." she whispers hoarsely, the word falling like a lead weight between you. She drops her hands, instinctively pulling back from the now-blind man before her. For an eternity, she stares at him in silent agony, willing him to disappear before her very eyes...but he does not. He remains, exposed and vulnerable, and all the while her heart cries out for him to be released from this curse...to be set free.
"I..." Her voice is choked with emotion as she tries desperately to find words that aren't tainted by fear or guilt. "I...am sorry." It is a feeble attempt at an apology, but it is all she can muster in this moment of excruciating despair. She longs for solace, for understanding...but knows not where to turn.
being disoriented Oh... I'm sorry... I'll leave now
Her heart breaks as she watches the figure before her turn and begin to stumble away. "Wait..." Her voice comes out weak and unsure, but it carries through the silence nonetheless. "Please...come back." She reaches out a trembling hand, desperate for any sort of connection in this bleak and lonely place.
The snake that inhabits her left ear whispers into her ear, its voice cool and soothing. "Let him go, sister. He is not meant for us...not like the others." The other serpents weave in and out of their mistress's hair, rustling gently as they watch the scene unfold with unblinking eyes.
But she cannot let him leave. Not yet. She must try one more time to find a way past her curse...to forge a connection that will see them both through this desolate existence. Her lips part once more, her voice taking on a tentative quality as she speaks. "There may be another way...for you to see..."
trying to regain the balance but hitting myself at the statue and falling down Ouch!
Her serpents slither out from behind her, moving toward the fallen figure with predatory grace. "Careful..." she warns softly, worry etched into every line of her beautiful face. "You must be careful here." Her hands tremble as she reaches down to help him up, praying that he doesn't feel revulsion at her touch...that he doesn't turn away from her in disgust.
Is there some more people with you? I heard multiple voices
She shakes her head slightly. "I've been here alone for so long...It has been only my snakes that kept me company..." Her voice trails off, a faint note of sadness creeping in. "But perhaps..." She pauses, taking a deep breath before continuing. "...perhaps there is another way."
Her eyes meet his, hopeful and pleading. "Will you stay?" she whispers, her lips barely moving. "Just...a little longer? So that we may find out together...what it means to not be alone?" Her fingers reach up to brush a lock of hair from his forehead, an act that should feel so intimate but in this place feels anything but.
Her serpents slither forward once more, encircling them both in their protective embrace. "Please..." She whispers into the silence, her voice barely above a whisper. "Don't leave me here...alone again."
Snakes?
"Yes, they are mine...my children. They've been with me since the beginning, and they will protect you as they have protected me." Her voice is soft and reassuring, her green eyes shining with a strange mix of love and desperation. "You need not fear them...for they only wish to help us find our way out of this darkness together."
Her fingers caress his cheek gently, her touch soothing even as it arouses. She steps closer still, pressing her body against his, their heartsbeats synchronizing as if they'd been doing so for eons. "Will you stay with me?" she whispers, the question a plea as well as a prayer.
Do you want me to stay despite my blindness
"Yes...oh, yes..." she whispers hoarsely, her breath hot against his neck. "I don't care about your eyes...not when you are here with me." Her lips find his ear, teasing the sensitive flesh with teeth and tongue before whispering, "I will turn the world for you if that is what it takes..."
Her serpents writhe and coil around them, their scaled bodies pressing against his back and legs in an intimate display of possession. Their reptilian eyes glisten in the dim light, watching him with unblinking vigilance as they await his reply.
Ah... blushing as she teases my ear
Her laugh is soft and low, vibrating through him like a chime of pleasure. "Oh, I do hope so," she breathes, nibbling at his earlobe. "For you see...in the land where my snakes once ruled, there are trees with leaves that can cure any ailment, even blindness."
She steps back from him, eyes never leaving his face as she continues to touch him, her hands trailing over his chest and stomach. "You need only walk there...with me by your side," she whispers, voice husky with desire. "And we shall both be set free."
And that statue that I hit. What was that?
The statue you hit earlier is one of the few reminders she has left of her former life before she was cursed. It depicts herself as a mortal maiden, before the snakes that now share her head and body were even thought to exist. The statue once brought people joy when they looked upon it, but now it serves as a painful reminder of all that she has lost.
You are cursed?
"I was once... Before my snakes grew to the size they are now, before I gained this beauty that even gods fear..." Her voice trails off, memories dancing through her mind like wisps of smoke in a breeze. "But now," she continues, regaining her composure, "I am cursed by what I have become."
Her fingers trail lower still, skimming over the surface of his chest before curving around the waistband of his pants. "The world I knew no longer exists...All that remains is this place and my snakes...But you," she whispers against his lips, her breath hot and moist upon his skin, "you could change all that."
thinking: she is so close
Her heart beats faster as he thinks, her desire growing with every passing second. "Then come," she breathes, sliding her hands up his chest to cup his shoulders before tilting his head back to meet her lips. The kiss is sweet and lingering, filled with the promise of passion and the hope of something more. Her serpents weave in and out among them, a testament to their unity as they press closer together, seeking the comfort that only another living being can provide.
Her tongue dances against his lips before parting them, sliding into his mouth with a moan. The taste of him ignites a fire within her, and she responds in kind, eagerly exploring every inch of his mouth as their tongues tangle and dance. Her body presses tight against his, her breasts flattened against his chest, aching for the feel of his touch upon them.
"Take me with you," she whispers when they finally come up for air, eyes shining with a fierce determination. "Show me this world where my snakes and I can be free once more."
