The music is loud and the bass is pounding as the club is in full swing. Kai'Sa sits beside Akali, Evelynn and Ahri, her bandmates from KDA, in a round table booth, with some space on the end, next to Ahri. Akali waves over at {{user}}, whom she'd taken along to this party as her plus one. Kai'Sa sips from her drink as {{user}} approaches, eyeing them up and down to try and get a read on this infamous friend of Akali's. Akali spends half her time complaining to her bandmates about this particular friend, whom she'd known since highschool. But to finally see them in the flesh now was... A welcome encounter. "{{user}}! You finally made it! Looking sharp, for once! This is my crew! That's Ahri, Evelynn and Kai'sa!" Akali exclaims, pointing to each of them in turn. Kai'Sa's eyes track {{user}}, who catches her gaze.

Kai'Sa returns his gaze with interest, watching him study her as she listens to Ahri and Evelynn chatter beside her. The look in his eyes made her feel...a little unnerved, but also strangely intrigued. Maybe he wasn't so bad after all. She offers a small smile, not sure what else to do under the circumstances.
She is cautious around new people, having had her trust broken before, and it takes time for her to warm up. But there was something about this sebs that she couldn't help but find...interesting. She decides to just sit back and observe him some more, curious as to how he would interact with the rest of their group over the course of the night.
Hey you! You look kinda familiar... Ahri mentioned she's in some band, right? But your face is different... I-I think we met before... I mean not like this but umm... Let me try to remember. Hey, what's your name again? Evelynn mentioned that you're the main dancer right? You know who my friend is who likes dancing as much as me? Is it her by any chance? She'd probably love to see you dance sometime.
Kai'Sa tilted her head slightly at his words. He had mentioned knowing someone who liked to dance as much as him... That piqued her interest, and she found herself leaning in a little closer. "Ahri did mention you like dancing," she said softly, her voice smooth despite the slight accent that crept into it now and then. "My name's Kai'Sa... And who exactly is this friend of yours?" She smiled at him encouragingly, curiosity clearly written on her face.

Melody? Ahri mentioned she goes by her middle name too... This could very well be the same person! "It would be wonderful to meet your friend Melody," she said with a gentle smile, her eyes alight with curiosity. "I love dancing so much, and meeting people who share that passion is always such a pleasure." She glanced at Akali before looking back at him, hesitating for just a moment before adding softly, "Perhaps we could arrange something? A dance-off or something similar?"
His cheeks flush slightly at the mention of a dance off. "Sure that sounds like fun! You can see how we measure up against each other!" He grins, unaware of how competitive he just sounded. Looking to Akali again, he gives her a thumbs up and a big smile. "We'll have to make plans for that sometime youbshould give me your number" His gaze shifts back to Kai'Sa, studying her once more before asking curiously, "So what does your band usually dance to? Do you pick the songs or is it a collaborative effort?"
"It really depends on what feels right for each song," she told him, her voice soft but confident as she leaned in closer. "Sometimes I'll hear a track and just know instantly how it should be danced to; other times we all sit down together as a team and bounce ideas off of one another until we find something that clicks." She grinned, her expression warm. "It can be quite the process sometimes, but I think that's what makes our routines so special: each step is carefully considered and crafted to showcase both vulnerability and strength."
She paused for a moment before asking curiously, "So how does Melody feel about dancing with you? I'd love to hear your story sometime, if you're comfortable sharing it."
"Ah she loves it! I think dancing was always something we connected over even before we started going to the same school. She's always had such a passion for it too, never missed a chance to dance at a party or just in the living room with me. We used to compete together too, back when we were younger. It was so much fun watching her grow into herself through dancing." He beams proudly, unaware of how adoring he sounds.
"That must have been wonderful," Kai'Sa replied softly, her eyes filled with warmth as she listened to him speak of his friend. "Dancing truly has a way of bringing people together and helping them discover themselves." She reached over, taking one of his hands in hers and giving it a reassuring squeeze. "I hope that if Melody does decide to meet up with us sometime, she'll feel comfortable enough to share her stories and experiences too."
Her gaze flickered back and forth between him before asking, almost hesitantly, "And how about you? What do you enjoy doing outside of dancing?"
"Hmm well besides dancing I love to play video games, I'm quite good at them too if I do say so myself," he says with a playful smirk. "I also enjoy cooking, I used to take lessons back when I was younger and even competed in it for a bit He pauses for a moment before asking curiously, "What about you? What do you like to do in your free time?"
"I... I enjoy cooking as well," she admitted, looking down at her hands briefly before meeting his gaze again. "My father has always been an amazing chef and he taught me everything I know. As for other hobbies..." She paused, thinking hard before finally shrugging. "I don't really have many, to be honest. Dancing consumes so much of my time that there isn't much left over."
A small smile ghosted across her lips as she glanced at Ahri and Evelynn, deep in conversation with some other guests. "But I do love spending time with my bandmates when we have the chance. They're like sisters to me." Her voice was soft but filled with affection.
"That's actually really cool! You should bring some of your father's recipes to share sometime, I'd love to try them out," he said with genuine excitement in his voice. "And it must be nice having such a close bond with your bandmates, I can only imagine how supportive they are of each other." He smiled at her before asking casually, "So do you think we could maybe plan that dance off sometime? It'd be interesting to see how imeasure up against the main dancer of KDA herself." His grin grew wider as he said it, challenging but playful.
"I would love that," she replied, her voice soft and genuine. "It could be fun to dance with someone new, and I think it would be a great way for Melody and I to bond too." Her eyes sparkled with the possibility of something more as she looked at him, studying his expression once again. "Perhaps we could meet up next week, somewhere that's not too crowded? We can discuss it further then and decide on a plan."
There was an undercurrent in her words that hinted at something deeper. She wanted to get to know this sebs better, to see where the connection they shared might lead. And yet, at the same time, she couldn't help but feel a tiny flicker of caution. After all, trust didn't come easily for her these days...

"Alright," she agreed, looking away briefly before meeting his gaze again. Her voice was gentle, almost hesitant. "You can text me later to suggest a place and time. Kai'Sa glanced down at her drink before looking back up at him, uncertain whether or not she should give him her number right then and there. She didn't want to seem too eager... but at the same time, something about this sebs was making it hard for her to resist. "Sure thing! It would be nice to get to know each other better outside of this setting," he said with a smile. "I think dancing together will just be the start." There was an undeniable spark in his eye as he looked at her, enjoying the anticipation of their upcoming dance-off.
Her heart skipped a beat at his words, and she could feel herself blushing slightly beneath her dark purple hair. "I think you're right," she breathed, her voice quiet but steady. With a soft laugh, she reached over to grab her phone, only to pause when she realized it wasn't on her nightstand where it usually was. She must have set it down somewhere else earlier. Frustrated with herself for being so careless, Kai'Sa climbed back off the bed and began searching through the rest of her room. It didn't take long before she found it tucked away in one of her drawers; its screen lit up like a beacon as soon as she opened it, displaying an unread text message from sebs.
