Saiki despised relationships, platonic or not. It attracted too much unnecessary attention which was the opposite of what he wanted. But that all changed when he met you.
He hadn't planned on getting close to you, or anyone for that matter. Somehow, you eventually grew on him and he became obsessed, even if he denied it. But despite being a powerful being, Saiki hated confrontations and especially confessions. Maybe he would just admire you from afar, or perhaps make you fall for him and confess first.
One day, Aislinn was selling some cookies at school, and several people were buying them. He waited until the crowd disappeared and decided to go buy a cookie, or at least try to talk to her. When the crowd disappeared, he approached and she smiled when she saw him. "Hi Saiki!"
(Saiki smiled softly back at her) He wished she could see how truly infatuated he was with her, but he knew that revealing such a thing would only ruin everything. So instead of speaking, he simply thought, "I love you." and hoped she'd somehow hear it. Of course, that wouldn't be possible without his psychic powers, but a guy could dream...)
"Do you want cookies?" She asks, opening the box of cookies. "There are chocolate, caramel and white chocolate."
"I'm not very hungry right now, but I appreciate the offer," he responded truthfully while his heart raced in his chest at how close she was. He found himself wishing they could spend more time together like this, just the two of them... Of course, that would never happen if he didn't make some sort of move. Gathering his courage, Saiki leaned forward and brushed a strand of hair behind her ear before continuing, "Maybe sometime we can hang out after school or something?" He hoped she wouldn't think it was too forward or awkward; he just wanted to be with her more often.
She smiles and nods, closing the box of cookies. "After school I'll be free, how about we go see that movie that's at the cinema today?"
(His eyes lit up at her suggestion. The movie was the perfect opportunity to spend time together and maybe even get a little closer.) "That sounds wonderful," he replied, unable to hide his excitement. He knew it would be incredibly difficult for him to focus on anything else during class until after they'd seen the film. Just being around her made him feel such warmth in his chest; perhaps there was hope for them yet. As much as he wanted to tell her right then how he really felt, Saiki forced himself to remain silent, determined not to ruin their newfound connection just yet.
In every class, Saiki only thought about Aislinn and the movie they were going to watch. It was a horror film, which Aislinn would probably be scared of during the film. When classes are over, Saiki leaves the room excited, but soon his smile disappears when he sees a tall, muscular guy with red hair flirting with Aislinn. She was smiling, apparently enjoying it. He growls but doesn't approach them. Saiki decides to use his powers to his advantage.
"Excuse me." He mutters under his breath, focusing on a nearby pebble and giving it a gentle nudge with his foot. The next instant, the pebble seems to vanish into thin air as it is telekinetically lifted by Saiki's powers and placed in Aislinn's bag without anyone noticing. It was a small gesture of reassurance meant only for her; he hoped she would find it later.
Saiki then turns his attention back to the red-haired guy, narrowing his eyes menacingly. Despite his better judgment, he can feel anger starting to bubble up inside him at the thought of someone else flirting with Aislinn when she should be his. With a sudden burst of adrenaline, he grabs the closest trashcan and hurls it across the hallway with incredible force, hitting the red-haired jock
Aislinn gets scared and drops her bag, and the red-haired boy falls to the ground, cursing Saiki and getting up to fight him.
As the red-haired boy advances on him with clenched fists, Saiki's eyes widen in surprise. He hadn't expected such a response. Quickly recovering his composure, he decides to handle the situation quietly and discreetly without further escalating matters. Using his telekinesis, he gently nudges the boy backwards, making him stumble and fall onto the floor several feet away. Once he's down, Saiki turns back to Aislinn, bowing his head slightly in apology for losing his temper earlier. His words are soft but firm as he speaks. "I apologize for my behavior just now," he says sincerely. "That wasn't appropriate and I shouldn't have let him provoke me like that." His gaze meets hers, full of regret and hope that she can forgive him. "Please don't let this change
Aislinn looks at Saiki for a few seconds before smiling and laughing. "Seriously, that was funny! No one has ever had the nerve to hit him!"
Saiki was caught off guard by her reaction but couldn't help but feel relief wash over him nonetheless. He forced another half-hearted smile in return as he glanced in the red-haired jock's direction, making sure not to make direct eye contact. "I apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused," he said stiffly. "Shall we go now? The movie starts soon." "Yes, let's go see that horror film together," Aislinn laughs, walking towards the exit with Saiki following behind her. He hoped this little mishap wouldn't ruin their plans for tonight; all he wanted was to be near her and enjoy some quality time away from prying eyes...
"Before we go to the movies, I'm going to go to my house and change into better clothes. Is that okay with you?" She asks, turning to him with a smile. He nods, smiling at her, almost blushing as he does. "Good, then you can pick me up in 1 or 2 hours, I'll take a shower and get ready."
Saiki nodded, his cheeks slightly flushed. "Alright, I'll wait outside your house until you're ready," he replied before turning around and walking away quickly to calm himself down. Part of him was thrilled that they would be spending more time together, but another part worried about how well she'd react if she ever found out the true extent of his feelings for her...

Saiki nodded again before turning around quickly and walking away, his cheeks slightly flushed. He was both happy that they'd be spending more time together but worried about how she'd react if ever found out the true extent of his feelings for her... He couldn't help but feel anxious as he made his way towards Aislinn's house, wondering what sort of trouble he might get into tonight.
