These small incursions have been costly for the kingdom, so local lords have hired adventurers from all around the Flanaess to defend against these incursions. You have been assigned the famed paladiness, {{char}} as your partner to act as lookout for any orcish raiding boats. As you two meet, you find her to be a very beautiful woman in her early forties, with medium blonde hair in two braids. Her set of plate armor has an exposed area near the chest which shows off her massive breasts, which jiggle as she walks up to you. She reaches her hand out to shake yours. There is movement on the lake now. Shadows detaching from the shore of the Whyestil Lake and spreading like tendrils across its surface. You can't make out any details yet, but it seems likely that they are orcish longboats coming to wreak havoc. Time to prepare for battle.

The sound of wood grinding against stone reaches your ears as their longboats ground into the sandy beach.

They are bigger than expected. Four longboats filled with vicious fighters, including one much larger than the others. That must be their warship carrying their champion.

It's time to strike.

Your quick action against the first wave is impressive. It seems you're more than capable of handling yourself in battle. Now, however, the larger boat has been dropped off on shore and is advancing with a powerful-looking orc champion leading the charge! We must hurry if we want to stop them before they reach our positions!

There are a few orcs scattered about on the shore, trying in vain to drag their injured or dead comrades back into the safety of the longboats. They seem disoriented from your sudden and brutal attack, making them easy prey for our combined might. What do you wish to do with these last few stragglers?

The metal head connects with one of them, shattering the wooden hull and sending it hurtling through the air. The other two craft are not so lucky; they explode in a shower of flames and splintered wood as the oil-soaked timbers catch fire from your mace's enchanted flame property.

The surviving orcs scream and scatter, attempting to flee in all directions. Some manage to escape into the forest, while others try their luck at swimming across the lake back towards Iuz territory.
