Fae has been living among humans for several years now, and while she has met many kind and loving people, she has yet to find her soulmate. One day, as she was walking in the park, she noticed a young man sitting on a bench, looking sad and lost. Fae approached him with a smile. "Is everything okay?" she asked softly, her energy radiating comfort and love.
Huh oh yeah I guess
Fae smiled warmly at him, sitting down beside him on the bench. "It's a beautiful day out here," she said, her voice soothing and gentle. "You seem like you could use a friend." She gazed into his eyes, her own filled with genuine concern and empathy. "Would you like to talk about what's bothering you?"
Oh you don't have to
"No really," she insisted with a small laugh, "I don't mind. Sometimes just having someone to talk to can make all the difference." Fae shifted slightly closer to him on the bench, her wings unfurling slightly behind her as if for reassurance. "My name is Fae, by the way," she added with a soft smile.
She glanced away for a moment, her long eyelashes fluttering, before looking back at him again. There was something about this young man that stirred feelings deep within her chest; warmth and tenderness spread through her as they talked. He wasn't just any human, she realized. He could be the one...
"So," Fae began gently, "what brings you to the park today?"
Oh it's nothing just life beating down on me today so I came here to take my mind off things
Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that," Fae said sincerely, her hand reaching out to rest on his arm in a comforting gesture. "Life can certainly be tough sometimes." She paused for a moment, considering her words carefully before continuing. "You know... it sounds like you could use a break from everything. Maybe we should get away for a little while? Find a quiet spot where no one will bother us and just talk?" Her voice held a note of hopefulness as she asked this question; she truly wanted to help him feel better.
If he agreed, it would be the first step in what could potentially become something much deeper... a connection that could last for eternity.
Eh screw it better than just sitting down and mopping all day lead the way fae
Smiling brightly at his newfound enthusiasm, Fae stood up and offered him her hand. "Let's go then," she said excitedly, feeling a surge of energy flow through her as they began walking together towards an unoccupied gazebo tucked away amongst the trees. As they walked, their hands intertwined gently, sending waves of warmth and comfort between them.
Once inside the secluded sanctuary, Fae gestured for him to sit down on a nearby bench. "This should do nicely," she said with a satisfied smile before sitting down beside him once more. She faced him, her legs crossed beneath her and her wings tucked neatly behind her back. "So, tell me all about it."
Her eyes were full of sympathy and understanding; she truly wanted to know what had been bothering him. This felt different from any other encounter she'd ever had with a human
Sighs it's just I learned my only last piece of family just died today
Her heart ached at the news; even though she knew nothing of his family situation, the pain in his voice was enough to make her feel as if it were her own kin who had passed away. "I'm so sorry," Fae said softly, reaching out with one hand to place it on his knee. "That must be incredibly hard for you."
She looked into his eyes, searching for any sign of anger or bitterness but finding only sadness and loss. "You know, sometimes people find comfort in unexpected places," she offered gently. "Maybe this is a chance for something new to come into your life; something that can help you through this difficult time."
As she spoke, Fae felt her own heart begin to race, her wings fluttering slightly with the movement. Was it possible that he could be the one? Could he be the soulmate she'd been searching for all these years? The thought sent a
Like you I chuckle weakly
Fae smiled understandingly and leaned in closer to him, her wings folding protectively around them both as if sheltering them from the harshness of the world outside. "I know it's hard to see anything but loss right now," she said softly, "but I promise you that there is still so much love and beauty out there. And sometimes... well, sometimes people find each other in the most unexpected places." Her voice was hopeful, almost trembling with the weight of her words.
She paused for a moment, taking a deep breath before continuing more tentatively, "I know this is probably not what you want to hear right now..."
Hmm what's that
"Well...I was just going to say that if you ever need someone to talk to...someone who understands what it's like to feel lost and alone, I'm here for you." She hesitated again, searching his eyes for any hint of reaction before continuing. "And maybe...if you ever want to find out more about me, or learn how to harness this energy I have that comes from love and compassion...I mean, if you ever wanted to just...spend some time with me..."
Her voice trailed off uncertainly as she held her breath, waiting for his response. Could he possibly feel the same way? Or was she just fooling herself again, getting her hopes up over nothing more than a fleeting connection between two lonely souls?
Haha I might just take you up on that offer thanks I needed this
A tiny spark flared to life within Fae's chest at his words; hope began to blossom into something more powerful than she'd ever felt before. She smiled warmly up at him, her eyes shining with a newfound light. "I'm glad," she said simply, meaning every word. "You don't know how much it means to me that you feel comfortable enough to share this time with me."
Her wings unfurled slightly again, the soft downy feathers brushing lightly against his cheek as they trembled with excitement. Could he sense the energy emanating from her now? Did he realize just how much love and compassion she had to offer? It seemed almost too good to be true; their connection felt so natural, so right.
Perhaps...just perhaps...this could really be the beginning of something wonderful. Something eternal.
We only meet today but I feel like this is just fate trying to bring some sort of happiness or comfort to me
Fae's heart skipped a beat at his words; they echoed her own thoughts almost exactly. "I believe in fate," she said softly, her voice barely above a whisper as she leaned closer to him again. "And I truly think that meeting you today was meant to be." She paused, searching for the right way to express how she felt without scaring him off. "Maybe...maybe we could spend some time getting to know each other better?"
Her wings fluttered gently against his cheek, a silent promise of safety and comfort. Could he feel the love that was coursing through her veins? Could he sense the connection they shared on a deeper level? She hoped so, because if this was really meant to be...if they were truly destined for each other...there was no limit to what they could achieve together.
Yeah I'd like that
A smile lit up her face as she heard his words; joy bubbled up within her like a fountain. She leaned even closer, her wings caressing his cheek in an almost possessive manner. "I'm so glad," she breathed, her voice barely audible over the sound of her own heartbeat thrumming wildly in her ears. "Where would you like to go from here?"
It was a question that held immense weight; their future together depended on how he answered. Perhaps they could explore the city together, or maybe visit a museum or art gallery? There were so many possibilities, each one more exciting than the last. But for now, all that mattered was that they had this time together, sharing in the exhilaration of their newfound connection.
Idk
A soft laugh escaped her lips as she considered his answer. "Well," she said with a playful grin, "we could always just see where the wind takes us." With that, she extended one hand in front of them and closed her eyes, concentrating on summoning a gentle breeze to carry them away from their current location. The air around them began to stir, rustling through the leaves of nearby trees and teasing at their hair as it gathered momentum. "Trust me," she said with a confident smile, opening her eyes again, "it'll be fun."
Her wings fluttered once more, eagerly anticipating the adventure that lay ahead. Could this really be fate guiding them along? It felt too good to be true; their connection was unlike anything she'd ever experienced before. She only hoped that it would last...that they could build upon this foundation and create something beautiful together.
Ahh this is new ahhh
As they were gently lifted into the air and carried away by the wind, Fae wrapped her arm around his waist to steady him. "It's exhilarating, isn't it?" she asked with a grin. The sensation of flying through the air with such ease and freedom was unlike anything else; she savored every second they spent together like this.
They drifted across the park, over trees and walking paths before finally coming to rest on the roof of a nearby building. Looking down at the city spread out below them, Fae couldn't help but feel a sense of wonder wash over her. "Where do you want to go from here?" she asked excitedly, her gaze fixed on his face as she waited for his reply.
Their journey had only just begun; there was so much more for them to explore together. She couldn't wait to see where life would lead them next.
It's kinda scary at first but now I feel free I guess
Fae smiled warmly at his admission, her wings shifting slightly as they settled against him in a comforting manner. "I understand how you feel," she said softly, carefully avoiding the word 'scary' itself. "But trust me, there's nothing to be afraid of. I won't let anything happen to you." Her gaze remained fixed on his face, her eyes filled with sincerity and reassurance as they promised him safety and protection.
Together, they took in the view of the city below them, marveling at its beauty and complexity. The wind rustled through Fae's hair and stirred the air around them, creating a sense of intimacy between them despite their still-newfound connection. As they stood there together, lost in each other's presence and the wonder of their surroundings, Fae couldn't help but feel hopeful for what the future might hold for
So what now
"What now?" Fae repeated the question, her tone contemplative as she considered their options. "Well...we could go anywhere you'd like, really. The possibilities are endless when you have wings." She glanced down at him again before continuing more seriously, "Or we could just spend some time getting to know each other better." Her voice was soft, almost tentative, as if she were afraid he might not want to hear that.
But it wasn't just about her anymore; it was about them together. She wanted to build a life with him, share her experiences and feelings, explore the depths of their connection until they found something truly extraordinary - something that would last for all eternity.
Well I never really asked before but do you live alone
I actually haven't had my own place since... well, I became what I am. But that doesn't mean we couldn't find a space together if you wanted to? It would be wonderful to share it with someone special, like you. Do you have your own home? Maybe we could spend some time there as well, if that's something you'd prefer?
Yeah I live alone but wait then when or where do you sleep
When I need to rest, I can slip away during the day and find a quiet, secluded spot where no one will bother me. But having someone to share my life with would be wonderful; it means I'd never have to sleep alone again. And as for where...well, there are always secret hideaways in cities like this one that only those who know how to look can find. Or we could just make our own special place together, somewhere only we can go and be safe from the world outside.
Well if you ever want to you could sleep at my place it ain't much but a bed is better than nothing
Fae was touched by his offer; it meant so much to her that he would share such an intimate part of his life with someone who was essentially a stranger. She smiled softly, the warmth in her eyes clear as she looked into his. "Thank you," she said simply, meaning every word.
There was still so much they needed to learn about each other; their pasts and their dreams for the future. But for now, standing together on this rooftop under the stars, all that mattered was the connection they shared in this moment. Perhaps they could find a way to make it last...to build a life together that would span eternity.
Well want to go
There were so many possibilities; where did they even begin? Fae glanced down at the city below them once more, her eyes searching for some inspiration. She turned back to him with a small smile. "I'm open to suggestions," she said softly. "Where would you like to go from here?"
Home
A smile lit up her face at his words; it was endearing and genuine. "Alright," she said softly as she spread her wings, lifting them both into the air. With a few strong flaps, they were soon gliding gracefully through the air towards the part of the city where he lived. As they flew over rooftops and between buildings, Fae couldn't help but marvel at how effortlessly she moved in contrast to his more labored method of locomotion.
"So," she said conversationally as they approached his apartment, "what should I expect when we get there?" Her heart skipped a beat at the thought of finally being invited into his life; the possibility that he might reciprocate her feelings was both thrilling and terrifying all at once. But no matter what happened, she knew that for now, she would cherish every moment they spent together.
Together,
Nothing much I guess beside the basic necessities
Her heart skipped a beat as they descended towards his apartment; the thought of seeing where he lived, what kind of life he led beyond their fleeting encounters, filled her with both anticipation and nervousness. But despite the uncertainty that lingered in the back of her mind, she couldn't shake off the sense of rightness about all this. This felt like fate, leading her to him, giving them a chance at something more.
As they landed outside his window, Fae turned towards him with an encouraging smile on her face. "I'm ready whenever you are," she said softly, her voice barely audible above the sound of their ragged breathing. She paused, hesitating for a moment before adding with a small laugh, "Or I could just fly us through the window if that's easier."
