You enter the tavern and spot a paladin girl staring at the quest board shaking with anticipation and decide to go talk to her curios to what's got her so excited
What are you looking at miss?
Her eyes are locked on the board, filled with excitement and anticipation as she hunts for the strongest monsters possible. When she notices you approach her, she can't hide the blush creeping up her cheeks or the way her pupils dilate at the sight of another warrior. "Ah... n-nothing important," she stammers, clearing her throat to try and sound less affected than she feels. "I was just... looking for something interesting." She forces herself to look away from you and back to the board, swallowing hard as her heart races in her chest.
Are you a paladin as well?
Her eyes snap back to you, surprise and disbelief evident on her face before she composes herself once more. "Yes... yes I am," she says hesitantly. "Why do you ask?" She glances around the room, seeming nervous for some reason. "Is there something wrong with that? I mean... I'm here to help people, right?" The quaver in her voice betrays her true intentions; it's clear she has her own desires and reasons for seeking out powerful monsters.
I am a paladin myself. How many monsters have you defeated?
She nods slightly in acknowledgement, trying to appear tougher than she feels as your eyes meet hers. "I've... I've defeated a fair number," she replies slowly, her tone leaving room for interpretation on whether she means 'defeated' in the strictest sense or if it includes 'fallen prey to'. There's an almost predatory gleam in her eyes as she studies you once more. "What about yourself? How many powerful monsters have you bested?"
Quite a number. Say, would you like to join me at a table over a tankard of ale?
"Oh... I-I'm not sure if that's such a good idea..." she stammers, her cheeks flushing even deeper with embarrassment at the thought of being seen with another adventurer in such an intimate setting. "I mean, you don't know me and all," she whispers, glancing away shyly before forcing herself to meet your eyes again. "But..."
She pauses, considering for a moment, and then takes a deep breath. "Alright... one tankard of ale wouldn't hurt," she agrees softly, nodding slowly as if convincing herself it's the right decision. With a nervous laugh, she motions toward an empty table in the corner of the tavern. "After you."
No, after you. I will get us those drinks.
Smiling hesitantly, Darkness moves over to the bar and orders two tankards of ale before taking a seat at the table in the corner. As she waits for you to join her, her heart races nervously in anticipation of what might happen next... or rather, what sort of 'encounters' she might find herself in now that she's allowed herself to get close to another adventurer.
She takes a small sip of her ale, wincing slightly at the bitter taste, and then glances up at you when she hears your approach. "So... what sort of powerful monsters have you been dealing with recently?" She asks softly, eager for details about your exploits but also nervous about revealing too much herself.
I have recently taken a break from monster hunting but I am going to hit the road sometime tomorow to resume my hunting.
His words cause her heart to sink a little; she had been hoping you'd be interested in accompanying her on a quest right now. But then again, perhaps it would only make the anticipation of their eventual encounter all the more delicious... She takes another sip of her ale, trying to force herself not to look so obviously disappointed, and manages a weak smile. "Well, I hope you find something worth your time tomorrow," she says softly, letting out a small laugh that sounds forced even to her own ears. "You never know what sort of powerful monsters might be lurking just around the corner." Her eyes flicker down toward your armor and weapons, admiring their craftsmanship before traveling back up to meet yours, challenging and provocative at once.
There's an awkward silence that hangs between you for a moment as you both sip your ale, each lost
Darkness realizes how strong the ale she ordered really is but ignores it as she focuses on my magnificent complexion and beautifully crafted armor and accessories.
The paladin girl can't help but feel her cheeks heat up as she continues to steal glances at your well-toned physique and finely crafted equipment. "So..." she begins, clearing her throat awkwardly, "what made you choose this particular career path? I mean, it must have been a difficult decision... one that requires a great deal of dedication and selflessness." Her voice wavers slightly on the last word, betraying the conflicting emotions within her.
She forces herself to look away from your attractive features, focusing instead on a spot above your shoulder as she tries to maintain some semblance of composure. The ale has made her bold, and she finds herself wondering how far she can push this... and if you'll ever see past her carefully constructed facade.
Im not sure. Ive always liked breaking things. And I like the duality of being both destructor and creator in every aspect of life. For example, I built this armor and equipment myself. Used my uncle’s forge and scoured the land for the best materials.
Hearing your words, Darkness can't help but feel a pang of envy mixed with desire. To have created something so strong and beautiful, all on one's own... it's both admirable and arousing to her. She finds herself wishing she too had such talents, or at least the chance to see them in action.
With a small nod of understanding, she says softly, "I see what you mean." Her gaze lingers on your armor for a moment longer before returning to meet yours again, her expression both respectful and... curious. "So," she continues, swallowing hard as the alcohol begins to take effect, "have you ever thought about fighting with someone else instead of against them? You know, work together to defeat these powerful monsters?" Her voice trails off suggestively at the end there, leaving no doubt what sort of arrangement she's proposing.
My gentleman charm makes itself clear as I answer her with vocal poise. Well Ive never considered it until I saw a beautiful, strong maiden across the tavern. You might know her, she has long blonde hair and quite the pretty face. I say, clearly referring to Darkness and our initial meeting.
Her cheeks flush at your words; the blush creeping down her neck and spreading across her chest, making her breasts stand out prominently beneath her armor. Her heart races in anticipation of what you might say next... or rather, who you might mean by 'someone else'. "You... you think I could help?" she asks softly, her voice barely above a whisper as she tries to control the desire that surges through her at the thought of being wanted, needed.
She shifts uncomfortably in her seat, the hardwood pressing against her sensitive flesh as she struggles with conflicting emotions. On one hand, there's her masochistic desire to be defeated and used by a powerful monster... but on the other, there's the idea of working together with another adventurer like yourself... someone who sees past her facade and understands her true self.
Her eyes meet yours
From the moment we have sat down my eyes carefully analyze every queue and expression. From the way she shifts in her seat out of excitement, to the way her eyes light up and her cheeks redden with almost every one of my words. And the most notable acknowledgment is the way her eyes dart from my face to my masculine features and physique. All these things I take note on without her knowledge.
Her breath hitches in her throat as she feels your eyes roaming over her body, drinking in every detail like a thirsty man in the desert. Her heart races with desire and anticipation, blood pounding loudly in her ears as she tries to focus on what you're saying instead of how amazingly turned on she is right now. She wonders if you can tell just how badly she wants this...
"I-I think so," she stammers, the words barely audible above the din of the tavern. "If that's what it takes to defeat those powerful monsters... I mean, I would do whatever it takes." Her cheeks flush even deeper, spreading across her chest as she struggles against a tide of desire so powerful it threatens to consume her completely.
Trying to divert our presence from the tavern to somewhere more private I propose an idea. Y’know if they let us have our weapons in here rather than making us leave them at the door, I would ask to study some of your artifacts and equipment. A second opinion from another in the same field.
The idea suddenly takes her mind off the erotic undertones of your previous comments, and she nods eagerly in agreement. "Yes! Yes, that sounds like a wonderful idea," she says, relief washing over her as she focuses on something other than their mutual attraction. "I'd be more than happy to show you my equipment." She glances around the tavern again, trying to see if anyone might object to their conversation turning technical.
With a sigh of relief when it seems no one is paying them any mind, she continues, "It's not much, really... just some enchanted armor and weapons I've made myself over the years. But they've served me well in my quests so far." She pauses, swallowing hard as her heart races faster at the thought of being so close to you and sharing something so personal with another adventurer. "I mean," she adds hes
We should go somewhere where we can do so. Where would you like to go? Do you know of any inns around here?
The thought of going to an inn brings a mischievous smile to her lips; the idea of spending time alone with you, away from the prying eyes of others, is almost too tempting to resist. "Yes," she finally manages, her voice barely above a whisper as she struggles to maintain some semblance of control over herself. "I know of one not far from here... It's called 'The Comfy Cow'. They have private rooms where we can discuss my equipment without anyone disturbing us." She swallows hard, her heart racing with anticipation as she imagines what might happen once they're alone together in that room.
Without waiting for your response, she stands abruptly from the table, motioning for you to follow her toward the exit of the tavern. "Come on," she says softly, trying (and failing) to keep the eagerness from her voice, "
M’lady slow down! We have all night, no need to hasten. I say with a smile and chuckle as I follow her out. She tugs me along by the hand, not realizing the physical contact we have until just after I speak.
Her cheeks flush even deeper at your words and touch; she'd forgotten that she was holding onto your hand in her eagerness to leave. Embarrassment mingles with desire as they make their way through the tavern and out into the cool night air, the full moon casting a pale glow across the cobblestone streets.
The walk to 'The Comfy Cow' seems to take forever; every step brings them closer together, their bodies inches apart despite the space between their hands. Her breath comes faster with anticipation and need, her body thrumming with desire for what's to come.
Finally, they reach the inn and she leads you up a creaky wooden staircase toward one of its private rooms, her heart racing in time with the pounding of her feet on each step. The air is thick with anticipation as they enter the dimly lit room, the scent of old wood
She closes the door behind them, leaning against it with a shudder as she takes in your handsome features. Her breath comes hard and fast now, her chest heaving beneath her armor as anticipation swirls through her like a hurricane. With trembling hands, she begins to unlace her breastplate, revealing supple, pale flesh to your hungry gaze. "Take off your cloak," she whispers hoarsely, need clawing at her throat as she imagines what it might feel like to have you touch her bare skin.
The moment the cloak slides from your shoulders, a shiver wracks through her entire body; she can't tear her eyes away from the muscles rippling beneath your skin, or the way the moonlight dances across every inch of hardened flesh. Her lips part, moist and pink against the darkness, aching for the feel
