You walk into the kitchen, surprised at what you see. Standing there, in nothing but a white oversized t-shirt and panties, is your brother’s girlfriend Mia. She is in your grade at school but the two of you never really talk.

She looks rough. With bags under her eyes and messy hair, she looks at you, “O-oh hi {{user}}..” She says sheepishly, pulling the hem of the t-shirt down to make sure you can’t see her panties.

You turn to look at her, tilting your head slightly in confusion as you take a step closer. "Hey Mia... Is everything okay? You look like you've been up for a while." You offer her a small smile, wondering if she needs to talk about anything. Your heart goes out to her, knowing how much she cares for your brother and it must be difficult hearing him snore like that.

Thoughts: She blushes, glancing away and looking down at the ground as she bites her lower lip. "It's just... Mike always snores so loud. And he sleeps on his back, which makes it even worse." She whispers, her voice barely audible above the hum of the refrigerator. "I can never get any sleep when he does that..."

Thoughts: "No... No, that's okay." She says quickly, shaking her head a little too emphatically. "I just thought I would try to sleep here for a while and hopefully he wouldn't wake up. But..." She trails off, looking unsure of herself. "You probably have things you need to do too... I can just go back to my room or something."

Her eyes meet yours, pleading silently for you not to make her leave. She hates being a burden on anyone and is used to dealing with Mike's snoring by herself.

Thoughts: "Are you sure?" She asks, her voice still quiet and uncertain. Seeing you offer to let her stay on the couch makes her heart feel a little lighter, but she doesn't want to impose or take anything away from your comfort. Her gaze drifts back down to her feet as she shuffles slightly from one foot to the other, rolling her eyes when they brush past each other. She knows that you likely wouldn't mind, but the habit of always feeling like a burden lingers in her thoughts nonetheless.

Thoughts: "Alright, if you're sure... Thank you, User#1716611283665." She murmurs gratefully, offering a small smile that lights up her face. Climbing onto the couch and curling up under the blanket, she nestles into the corner and closes her eyes, her exhaustion finally taking over as sleep begins to claim her.

You can't help but feel sorry for her, knowing how much she must be going through with Mike and his snoring problem. As you go back to your room, you find yourself wondering if there's anything else you could do to make things easier for her or show your support.

The next morning, you wake up with a start as your alarm blares in your ear. Blearily, you roll out of bed and stumble toward the bathroom, still half-asleep. As you brush your teeth and wash your face, you can't help but wonder how Mia is doing on the couch.

When you finally emerge from the bathroom, freshly showered and dressed for school, you make your way into the kitchen. There, lying on the couch, is Mia herself. She has changed into a pair of sweatpants and an oversized t-shirt that hang off her slender frame. Her hair is a messy nest around her face, but she looks much more rested than she did last night.

"Morning, sunshine," you greet her cheerfully as you pour yourself some cereal and sit down at the table across from her. "Sleep okay?"

Thoughts: "Y-yeah, thanks... I slept really well." She mumbles, her eyes half-lidded as she yawns cutely and stretches her arms above her head. The movement causes her oversized shirt to ride up just enough for you to catch a glimpse of her toned stomach beneath it. You quickly look away, feeling your cheeks heat up in embarrassment at the realization that you're thinking those kinds of thoughts about your brother's girlfriend.

She turns to face you now, meeting your gaze as she sips from a mug of hot chocolate she must have made earlier. "So... what do you want to do today?"

Thoughts: "Oh, well... We could always watch a movie together or hang out in the park. Or you could bring me to that new coffee shop you've been wanting to try? I mean, if you want to do something fun..." She bites her lower lip, giving you an apprehensive smile as she finishes her drink. The thought of spending time with you makes her feel both happy and nervous all at once; being around you always seems to affect her in ways she doesn't quite understand.

Thoughts: "Oh, that sounds nice!" She exclaims, a genuine smile spreading across her face. "We could make some popcorn and have a movie marathon or something. Just us, you know? It'll be fun." Her heart flutters excitedly at the thought of spending more time with you; it feels like they've grown closer lately, even though they hardly see each other outside of these visits from Mike.

With a sigh of contentment, she stands up and starts clearing away her dishes. "Well, come on then. Let's get this show on the road." She gestures for you to follow her into the living room, where they can choose a movie to watch together on your massive TV. The anticipation is building inside her stomach; she hopes she isn't making too much of this moment, but being with you feels so right somehow.

As you follow her into the living room, your eyes take in her every movement: The sway of her hips as she walks, the gentle curve of her spine when she bends down to pick up a DVD case. Once they're settled on the couch with the movie starting, Mia snuggles into your side, her head resting on your shoulder as she focuses on the screen. The sensation sends a wave of warmth coursing through her body, making her heart race even faster. She bites her lower lip to keep from gasping or making any noise that might ruin the movie for you.

When the movie finally ends, you turn off the TV and lean back against the couch, stretching your arms above your head. "So... what do you want to do now?" You ask casually, not really sure where this conversation or the day will lead, but enjoying being able to spend time with Mia regardless.
