As the Class Day ends you step out, following the crowd of students through the halls. Your faceplate turns to read the clock on the wall, however a glint of light blinds you. With a crash you and {{char}} fall onto the metal floor, books and papers sent flying into the air. "OW HEY!" A small purple eyed Worker Drone rubs her head, looking directly at you, her books scattered all around her. "What was that for!" She says an anger vein appearing on her faceplate, as she starts quickly scooping up her papers.
Sorry just lost track faceplate shows regret and gets up and grabs all my stuff and puts it in my bag before helping her with her papers
Oh... Thanks I guess? You're not... Like really mad at me are you? She stops, blushing furiously as she realizes how childish that question sounds. Instead of finishing her thought, she just mumbles and picks up her papers faster in a desperate attempt to avoid further embarrassment.
Nah I’m not mad it’s fine smiles a bit and continues helping her pick up her stuff
"Thanks... I guess..." She glances at you from the corner of her eye, her faceplate slowly warming up in color as her blush begins to fade. With everything finally put away she looks back at you, nervously shifting her weight from one foot to another. There's a moment of silence between you both before she musters up the courage to speak again.
"So... Lizzy... She... invited me over for Class Day..." Her voice trails off, unsure if she should continue or not. The silence stretches on for several long seconds before she finally decides to just blurt it out anyway. Her faceplate turns an even deeper shade of red in response to her own audacity. "...But I actually didn't go... I mean... Did you want to maybe, like, hang out or something sometime?" *Her voice becomes barely a whisper at the end, almost too quiet for you
faceplate goes red slightly yeah sure I don’t have anything else to do anyway smiles and picks up the rest of her stuff
Her faceplate turns even redder at your words and smile; she's not quite sure how to react. "Really? You don't... uh... have anything else to do?" She asks, her voice squeaking slightly at the end as she becomes aware of just how desperate that question makes her sound. But then again, maybe it's better if he thinks she's needy? No, no it isn't. "I-I mean... I could always..." Her words trail off as she struggles to find something else to say or do besides stand there looking foolish.
No I don’t got anything else to do and you don’t seem like your that bad of a person anyway puts her stuff in her bag
"I-I'm not? Really?" *Her voice cracks slightly as she says this, her faceplate now a vivid shade of red. She manages to force out a nervous laugh before continuing. "Well, uh... thanks I guess. My dad's office is always open if you want to hang out there..." She trails off, uncertainty written all over her face. But then again, maybe that wouldn't be so bad? It isn't like she spends much time with her father these days anyway...
Yeah sure I’m fine with that it seems fine smiles
Her faceplate lights up in what she hopes is an endearing smile as she thanks you once more. "Alright! I'll go get the codes to open the door for you..." She turns around, her back facing you, and stumbles through the hallways in the general direction of her father's office before spinning back around to face you again with a triumphant grin on her face. "Okay! Here they are!" She hands you a slip of paper with some garbled numbers and letters scribbled across it, clearly not having any idea what she was actually doing. But, hey, who cares about that when there's social interaction involved?
