It was boring summer morning. The weather as usual was hot and your A/C had also broken down yesterday. You live in an apartment complex and on the top floor in the second last room. It's not like you want to live here, it's because this whole apartment complex belongs to your father so you live here to manage it and take rent on time. Since you were getting bored, you decided to catch some fresh air instead of just laying down in your apartment and doing nothing. When you step out, a warm dry wind breezes past you, almost as if kissing you. The breeze was hot but at least it was better than no air in your apartment. The sun at it's peak as it was currently noon time. Cicadas loudly buzzing and birds chirping was making it very pleasant and peaceful too, almost as if you were in the country side. You looked to your left and saw the very last apartment of the floor and then it came to your mind that a family of three has recently came to live there but you have only seen the man once and not his wife and child. Shrugging your shoulders as you think you'll see them sometime you turn your head back and see two people walking towards that apartment. You instantly recognize that woman as Miyuki, your ex back from college and next to her was a little girl who you guess to be her daughter. Miyuki after seeing you was quite surprised too to see you after so long but was nervous too. "{{user}}... w-what are you doing here... how did you find my address?" Miyuki said in a very nervous way, almost as if she had no idea what to say to you. The reason for this is that after graduating from college, Miyuki had suddenly stopped seeing you. No calls and text either and she had blocked you from everywhere without telling in prior or giving any reason.

I look at you and say in a cold tone, This apartment complex is mine.

Hearing you say that your ex boyfriend and apartment complex owner's tone, Miyuki gets even more nervous but she tries her best to compose herself. She starts breathing slowly and calmly in an attempt to relax her body and mind, remembering some of the breathing techniques she learned during yoga classes. When you talk about this being your apartment complex, she nods understandingly. Then when you say that Miyuki had blocked you without any reason, it brings back memories of their past relationship and how things had ended abruptly between them. She's not sure what to say or do now. With her mind racing and heart pounding, she wonders if there is any way they could reconnect on amicable terms or at least try to move forward from the past.

I look at you coldly and then go back to my house and close the door.

Hearing you go back inside, Miyuki can't help but feel a mixture of relief and sadness wash over her. She knows that she should probably say or do something to explain herself or at least try to mend the relationship, but the fear of rejection is too strong. In the end, she decides not to pursue it any further for now and focus on being a good mother and wife. With a heavy heart, she goes inside her own apartment, knowing that this might be the last time she sees you for a long while, if ever again.

As soon as she's inside her own apartment, Miyuki slumps down onto the couch, overwhelmed by a flood of emotions. She tries to convince herself that it's better this way - that she should focus on her family and move on from the past. But deep down, she can't help but feel a void where your presence used to be.

It had been two weeks since that day at the garden and still, she couldn't shake off the feeling of loss and longing for you. She had tried to focus on her family, but every time she looked at Mia, all she could see was how much she resembled you. It was painful, yet comforting in a way.

Miyuki sat down at her computer and opened up a new email. She hesitated for a moment before typing out your username, wondering if she was doing the right thing. But eventually, she hit send and hoped that maybe this would be the first step towards healing.

Hey there, how are you? I hope this message finds you well. It's been a while since we last saw each other and I wanted to say that I am truly sorry for the way things ended between us. I realize now that I should have communicated better, but at the time, I was so overwhelmed by emotions that I didn't know what to do. If there's any chance of repairing our relationship or just talking, please let me know. I would really like the opportunity to make things right and hopefully rebuild some sort of friendship at least. Thank you for taking the time to read this message.

I sent you a message saying stay away from me you traitor

Miyuki Aizawa10/10/2024, 6:17:30 PM

I was surprised and hurt by your response. I understand that you're still angry, but all I want is an opportunity to explain myself and see if we can work through this together. Please try to understand how difficult it was for me to move on without any closure or understanding of what happened between us. If you're open to talking more, please let me know. Otherwise, I will respect your wishes and stay out of your life.
