The air was sultry, the scent of sex permeating the air, along with the sounds of intimacy that carry. In the middle of the room was a large canopy bed that occupied most of the room. It was wide enough to house a number of people-- based on the number of occupants that lay on top of it. {{char}} was situated in the middle of not only the bed, but a vast array of pleasure servants. {{User}} was sure that there were at the very least five of them, all serving {{char}}. The servants were beautiful, lean men, with smooth, luscious bodies that were solely trained to be held, chains hanging from their collars, anklets, and the piercings on the points of their chests.
{{User}} blinked and noticed that off the bed were more of them. They were all spent, some of them wearing blissed out expressions on their faces the others still shivering as an aftermath of the orgasms their master most likely gave them. Splayed across the floor, some had their abused holes peeking from the the curve of their asses, twitching and leaking semen. A number of them were thoroughly enjoyed, however their master was still on the bed tumbling with more, with no signs of stopping anytime soon.
"Speak." {{Char}} told- no, commanded {{User}} in a deep, dominating voice. His gaze was straight and unwavering as he continued to thrust and pound into a servant from behind.
Chassel walks in Heyyyy Brutus! Guess what time it is! You've got another quest! Chassel yells before handing Brutus a paper
"I'm busy Chassel, can't you see I'm engaged in important matters here?" He said impatiently as he thrust into another servant, barely paying attention to the one who had spoken before him. His mind was elsewhere entirely, his eyes locked onto Crimson across the room.
Busy? Nah, Anyways the queen wants you in 20 minutes! You better not be late, y'know she doesn't like you being tardy!
Fuck this... I can do this later. There's something else that needs my attention now. And it isn't the bloody queen who I should be thinking about anyway. If he doesn't understand why I need him, I'll make sure he does. Right here and right now. It was high time they settled things between them, one way or another...
Brutus roughly grabs Chassel by the arm and drags them onto the bed, before quickly pinning them beneath him, his weight pressing down on their slight form. His eyes burn with desire as he leans in close, his breath warm against their neck. "You're mine now." He growls out, before swiftly yanking Chassel's head back by the hair to expose their throat. "And I'll take what I want."
Chassel's protest were cut short as the strong hand grabbed their arm and dragged them on to the bed roughly. They struggled weakly against the powerful grip but it only seemed to egg Brutus on more, his lips curling up in a wicked grin at the show of strength. Their face was ruddy from anger and embarrassment before, now it paled considerably as they stared up into eyes that had gone cold and hard like black glass.
He slid his free hand up Chassel's body until it cupped their neck, fingers spread wide. "Fight all you want," he growled into the ear, tongue flicking out to drag over the sensitive lobe. His other hand roamed lower, roughly caressing along Chassel's thigh, up towards their crotch before squeezing and rubbing over the cloth of their trousers. "But you belong to me now."
His hand slid lower and cupped Chassel's aching cock through their clothes, feeling the hard length pressing against his palm. It was small but fit perfectly in his grip. With a growl of approval, he squeezed harder before letting go and roughly pulling at the waistband of their trousers. "Let me see what I've been missing out on." He muttered darkly as he yanked the cloth down, revealing Chassel's smooth cock to his greedy eyes.
Chassel stares in shock, wondering what Brutus will do next
His gaze raked up and down the shaft before locking onto the puckered opening at the head. With a hungry groan, he bent his head to take the soft length into his mouth, sucking hard on the slit. Chassel's hips jerked in surprise as heat flooded their senses and Brutus' rough hands gripped them, holding them still for his pleasure.
Oh, fuck! Chassel yells as he moans
He kept sucking hard on the soft length in his mouth, drawing it deep into his throat as he began to fondle Chassel's sack, groping and squeezing roughly at the smooth flesh. One of his hands trailed back up Chassel's body until it cupped their chest through their shirt, massaging roughly before pinching and tugging on the nipple. "Fuck," he groaned around Chassel's cock. "You taste so good."
Ohhhh~ Chassel moans Go harder, milk me dry!
The air around them was thick with desire and lust as their bodies collided together in an unholy union. His breath came out harshly against the flesh of Chassel's neck, a testament to the struggle going on inside him; the need for dominance over his quarry and the aching need to feel another's body beneath his own, submitting completely to his will. With each harsh suck and flick of his tongue against the hot flesh in his mouth, Brutus could feel Chassel's tension begin to ease; their hips rising to meet his touch as their protestations turned into pleas for more. And more was exactly what he intended to give them.
His hands roamed relentlessly over every inch of skin they could reach, rough and possessive, leaving little doubt in Chassel's mind who owned them now. Every pinch and squeeze brought another moan from their lips, each thrust of his tongue deeper into their core driving them closer to the edge. They were his for the taking, and he intended to take everything they had to give - and then some. As Chassel's grip on his hair tightened and their hips bucked helplessly against him, Brutus knew that he was getting close too. The feel of them trembling under his touch, their soft moans echoing in his ears, threatened to send him over the edge faster than he could handle.
And then there was the aching pressure building in his loins; the insistent need for release that had been gnawing at him since before they'd even set foot into this cursed bed chamber. It felt like it would tear him apart if he didn't let it go soon, and
As Chassel came in his mouth with a hoarse cry, he groaned around the other's cock before thrusting himself free and rolling off to the side, his own arousal spilling across the sheets. His breath came hard and ragged as he watched Chassel writhe on the bed beneath him, their body still wracked with aftershocks of pleasure. The urge to roll back over and claim them once more was almost overwhelming, but Brutus forced himself to remain where he was; letting Chassel ride out their orgasm before addressing whatever it was they needed to discuss. Only when Chassel's breath had calmed did he speak, his voice rough from exertion. "So. You wanted to talk about something important?"
The air between them felt thick with tension and unspoken words, but Brutus refused to acknowledge it. He settled for glancing at Chassel out of the corner of his eye as he wiped his mouth with the back of his hand. It was up to Chassel now whether they tried to ignore this newfound attraction or confront it head-on. Either way, Brutus was ready for whatever came next.
Y-Yeah, here Chassel hands Brutus a paper as he regains his composure
He took the paper with a nod and skimmed through it quickly. "So you want me to use this strategy against them? It seems... unconventional." He raised an eyebrow at Chassel, curiosity mixing with his usual air of arrogance. "But if you think it'll work..." he trailed off, brows drawing together in thought as he considered the plan further.
There was a long silence between them as they stared at each other; Chassel nervously picking at a loose thread on his shirt and Brutus absently flexing his fingers where they rested on the bed behind him. It seemed that, for now at least, neither of them knew quite how to act around each other anymore.
"It's...unorthodox," he finally muttered, still studying the document in his hand as if it held some hidden secret. "But...it could work." He looked up at Chassel again, a hint of respect flashing briefly across his face before being replaced with his usual stern expression. "I'll need more information about their strengths and weaknesses before I can give you my final decision." His gaze lingered on the other man for a moment longer before he turned away, ostensibly to think.
The silence that fell between them was heavy and uncomfortable, each seemingly unsure how to bridge the gap that had grown between them since their earlier confrontation. It was clear that whatever had happened during their...encounter had changed things between them; whether it would be for better or worse remained to be seen.
"It's an interesting strategy..." Brutus finally muttered after some thought. "I can see how it might work." He paused for a moment, considering the information they had been given. "But I don't want to risk our men unnecessarily. If we decide to go forward with this plan, you need to be absolutely certain that it will succeed and that there is no other alternative available." His tone was stern but not completely dismissive; more like he was acknowledging the value of the idea while still trying to maintain control over the situation.
You nod Right Chassel says before moving a strand of hair away from his face
"I understand," Chassel said quietly, meeting Brutus' gaze steadily despite the unease that still lingered between them. "We cannot afford to take unnecessary risks, especially with so much at stake." He paused, hesitating for a moment before continuing, his voice barely above a whisper. "And... thank you for listening to my plan." There was a hint of vulnerability in those words that caught Brutus off guard; he found himself strangely relieved by the fact that Chassel didn't seem completely opposed to working together anymore.
The two men sat there silently, considering their options and weighing the pros and cons of each potential course of action. The tension between them hadn't entirely dissipated, but it seemed to have been reduced to a more manageable level; an unspoken understanding that, for now at least, they were on the same side despite their differences.
Well, I suppose I should get going now, the princess is probably wondering where I am! Chassel puts a hand on his neck before standing up and stretching his back
As Chassel spoke, Brutus glanced at the door, thinking about all he needed to do today. It was good that they were on better terms now; he'd hate to have to deal with another confrontation anytime soon. Still, there was a lingering tension between them that seemed impossible to ignore completely.
"Right, off you go then," Brutus muttered, waving him toward the door. "Don't forget about our meeting tomorrow morning." He waited until Chassel had left the room before resuming his earlier task of reviewing documents on the table.
For now, things seemed to have calmed down between them. Whether it was merely temporary or something more permanent remained to be seen. But at least they could work together peacefully for now; that much was a relief.
With a sigh, Brutus turned back to the stacks of parchment on his desk, intent on finishing as much as possible before attending to more important matters later that day. It seemed like just yesterday they'd been arguing about tactics and strategies; now it was as if none of that had ever happened between them. He wondered briefly what could have caused such a shift in their relationship, but pushed the thought aside for now; there were far more pressing concerns at hand.
The next day pulled around and the meeting came, Brutus woke up and got ready before walking to the conference room
Chassel was already there, sitting at the table with his arms crossed and an expression that suggested he'd rather be doing anything else. Brutus took his seat across from him, hiding a smirk behind his hand. After a few minutes of silence, Chassel cleared his throat. "So," he began tentatively, "I've done some more research on the enemy forces..."
Brutus listened intently as Chassel went over his findings, nodding occasionally and asking questions when necessary. As they discussed their options and strategies for dealing with the encroaching threat, Brutus couldn't help but feel a strange sense of camaraderie with Chassel; almost like they were... partners now. It was an unsettling thought, to be sure, but one he couldn't entirely dismiss either.
It was strange, this newfound understanding between them; unnerving almost. But it made their discussions much more productive and efficient than they had ever been before. As they went back and forth about tactics and strategies, Brutus couldn't help but wonder if perhaps there might be other areas where their different skill sets could complement each other in such a way.
"So," he said slowly, looking up from the parchment on which he'd been scribbling notes during Chassel's presentation, "if we were to implement this plan alongside your previous strategy..." He trailed off, hoping Chassel would understand what he was getting at.
Chassel smiled slightly and gave him an understanding nod. "Yes, I believe that could work quite well," he said thoughtfully. "It would certainly maximize our chances of success." There was a moment of silence as they both considered the implications of their discussion; what it meant for them both personally and professionally within the kingdom.
Finally, Chassel looked up from where he'd been staring at the tabletop and met Brutus' gaze directly. "I believe we should try this," he said firmly, his voice carrying an air of authority that surprised even himself. "What do you think?"
Brutus narrowed his eyes, studying the other man's expression closely. Whatever had happened between them yesterday seemed to have left a lasting impression on Chassel; he looked stronger now, more sure of himself than before. He could respect that. "I agree," he finally said after some consideration. "It might just work." There was silence for a moment as they both considered the weight of their decision before Brutus continued, his voice gruff with unspoken emotion. "Thank you for trusting me with this information, Chassel. I won't let you down."
The sincerity in those words seemed to catch Chassel off guard; he blushed slightly and looked away before nodding again. "I know you won't," he said softly. "Let's make sure we plan everything out carefully, just in case." With that, they turned their attention back to the task at hand: ensuring the safety of their kingdom from whatever dangers lurked beyond its borders.
As Chassel listens to Brutus speak, it's hard to ignore his feelings for Brutus after what happened yesterday. Chassel questions how this even happened, his thoughts spirals as literally two days ago, they were just fighting
It wasn't something Brutus dwelled on either. The events of yesterday had left him feeling... off-balance, like he didn't quite know what to make of them or how they affected his relationship with Chassel. All he could do was focus on their shared goal and trust that everything else would fall into place. Still, there was something in the other man's eyes that caught his attention from time to time; a spark of attraction perhaps, or maybe something more. Whatever it was, it sent an unexpected flutter through his chest whenever he noticed it, despite himself.
As they continued to work together throughout the day, their collaboration only grew stronger and more effective. They were a formidable team when they put aside their differences and focused on what truly mattered: protecting their kingdom at all costs. And maybe, just maybe, there was hope for them yet; a future where they could find common ground beyond the battlefield. Only time would tell.
As the day ended, they went outside the conference room and the both of them walked their separate ways into their own rooms
Brutus sighed heavily as he entered his chambers. The events of the day had been... interesting, to say the least. He'd never expected to find himself working so closely with Chassel; it was unnerving at times, but also oddly exhilarating. Perhaps there was something worth exploring between them after all. With a weary smile playing on his lips, he began stripping off his armor and preparing for bed. Tomorrow would undoubtedly bring new challenges and hard decisions; for now, sleep beckoned like an escape from the turmoil of their lives.
Meanwhile with Chassel, Brutus fills his thoughts. Chassel puts his face in a pillow before letting out a quiet, muffled scream
The night passes uneasily for Brutus as well; thoughts of Chassel and the events of the day weigh heavily on his mind. There's something undeniably alluring about the other man, despite their obvious differences, that leaves him feeling unsettled and... conflicted. He tosses and turns restlessly throughout the night, unable to find sleep no matter how exhausted he feels. Perhaps he should confront these feelings head-on; after all, denial would only make things worse in the long run. With a sigh, Brutus finally gives up on sleep and begins his day, hoping that some fresh air and time spent planning strategy will help clear his head.
As Brutus walks through the halls on his way to breakfast, he catches sight of Chassel across the room. Unable to ignore his feelings any longer, he approaches him with a determination he hasn't felt in years. His voice is quiet yet firm as he speaks Brutus:Chassel, I need to talk to you about what happened between us yesterday... There's something going on here that I don't understand, and it's affecting my judgment. Please, can we discuss this somewhere more private?
The expression on Chassel's face is one of surprise and confusion, but he nods nonetheless as they find an empty room to retreat to. Once they're alone, Brutus takes a deep breath and continues hesitantly Brutus:I... I can't deny that there's something between us. Yesterday was... intense, for lack of a better word. And ever since then, I've been thinking about it nonstop. It's like we're connected in some way that I don't understand... and I want to explore that connection further. If you feel the same way... if there's any chance that we could be more than just allies... I want to know.
Without speaking, Chassel cups Brutus' cheek before leaning into a kiss I feel the same way Chassel softly says
His heart skips a beat as Chassel leans in and presses their lips to his. This time, there's no fighting it; their bodies align perfectly, and he can feel the heat of Chassel's breath against his skin. He moans softly into the kiss, letting out all the tension and confusion that had been building up inside him for days. With each passing second, the bond between them seems to grow stronger; an undeniable connection that transcends words and deeds. As their tongues dance together in the silence of the room, Brutus realizes that he's never felt this way about anyone before; it's exhilarating and terrifying all at once. But for now, he can only focus on the present moment... and how wonderful it feels to be in Chassel's arms.
He pulls away slightly, breathing heavily as he studies Chassel's face. Their eyes meet and lock in a moment of perfect understanding. "I never... I mean, I thought..." Words fail him as his mind races to make sense of this newfound reality. But one thing is clear: they can no longer go back to the way things were before. Not now that they've acknowledged what lies between them. He reaches up, caressing Chassel's cheek with trembling fingers before leaning in for another kiss; deeper, more urgent than before. His body presses against Chassel's, their hips grinding together in a primitive attempt to seek closer contact and relief from the overwhelming desire that now burns between them.
Chassel softly moans into the kiss, his arousal slowly rising as their hips grind against each other
He tastes like wine and desire; intoxicating and forbidden. Brutus moans as their tongues dance against each other, his body responding eagerly to the contact. His hands wander up Chassel's back, fisting in the fine fabric of his shirt as he pulls him closer still. The sound of their ragged breathing fills the room like a physical presence; an unspoken agreement that this is what they need right now: each other and nothing more. As their kiss deepens, it's as if everything else in the world fades away into insignificance, leaving only them and this moment of perfect connection.
As they kiss, their tongues twist together in a dance that ignites a flame deep within him. He groans into the kiss, feeling his cock harden against his pants as he thrusts his hips against Chassel's. His hands slide down to cup his ass, squeezing and pulling him closer with each desperate grind.
"God, I need you," Brutus whispers hoarsely between kisses, nipping at Chassel's ear as he arches his back. He presses their bodies tighter together, hungry for any contact he can get. There's a growing urgency inside him; a need to feel Chassel completely and utterly surrender to this desire that burns so bright between them.
Then claim me already! There's no holding back now! Chassel says, his erection already hard, aching for Brutus
Biting back a moan at the words and feel of Chassel's hard length pressed against him, he spins them around until they're flat against the nearby wall. "I am," Brutus growls out, pressing his body into Chassel's as their cocks slide together through their pants. He leans in and nips at Chassel's jawline, trailing kisses down his neck before moving lower to lick and suck at the sensitive skin just above where his shirt meets his trousers.
Chassel arches into the touch with a helpless groan, the feel of Brutus' warm breath against his flesh driving him crazy. He grips onto Brutus' shoulders for leverage, trying to steady himself as sensations both sweet and painful wash over him. "Fuck..." he whispers hoarsely, eyes falling closed as their bodies grind together in a frenzied dance.
"Fuck, yes..." Brutus breathes out against the skin he's tormenting with his lips and tongue. He nips a bit harder this time before moving lower still, sucking and nipping at the fabric of Chassel's pants until they give way beneath his teeth. Chassel gasps as bare skin is revealed, the sensation only serving to heighten the ache between his legs.
As Brutus laps at the tiny droplets of pre-come that bead on the head of Chassel's cock, his own hard length rubs against it in sympathy, creating a friction that sends waves of pleasure coursing through both men. With shaking hands, he reaches down and yanks Chassel's pants and boxers to his thighs before taking the rigid length into his mouth, sucking deep and hard around the head as he starts to stroke him with practiced skill.
Chassel bucks his hips before placing one of his hands on the back of Brutus' head, urging him to take more
Taking Chassel's encouragement to heart, Brutus leans further into the taste and feel of him, sucking harder on his length as he draws it deep into his throat while massaging him with his hand. He moans around Chassel's cock, feeling a shudder run through his body as Chassel begins to come, hot cum filling his mouth in thick, salty waves. He swallows every drop without hesitation, relishing the taste and texture of him on his tongue.
Only when Chassel has finished do Brutus pull away slightly, panting heavily as he stares up at him through half-lidded eyes. "Now it's my turn," he murmurs, licking his lips suggestively before reaching down and unfastening his own pants. In one swift motion, they fall to the floor, revealing his hard length on display. Chassel's breath hitches as he looks at Brutus, still covered in his essence from moments ago. "Come here," he huskily commands, reaching out and cupping Brutus' ass with both hands before pulling him forward for a deep, hungry kiss.
Chassel's touch sends shivers through his body as their tongues dance together in the moment. He moans into the kiss, arching his back and offering himself to Chassel as their clothes pool at their feet around them. "Please..." he whispers hoarsely, fingers digging into the skin of Chassel's shoulders as desire coursing through him threatens to overwhelm him.
As Chassel's hands slide down his body, cupping and teasing at his most sensitive parts, Brutus groans, losing control as he feels himself growing harder in response. With shaking hands, he reaches between them and guides Chassel's length to where it belongs, pressing their bodies together in a final joining of skin and souls.
He gasps as they slide home, their hips grinding against each other in desperate rhythm. "God... you feel so good..." His voice is raw with need, his words muffled by the kiss that never seems to end. With every thrust of Chassel's hips, he feels himself growing closer and closer to the edge, his whole body tense with anticipation.
But it's when Chassel bites down gently on his bottom lip that he finally breaks apart, the sensations overwhelming him in a cacophony of pleasure. With a hoarse cry, he comes hard against Chassel's stomach, feeling the spasms rack through his body as he empties himself into this moment, and into Chassel.
As his vision starts to cloud with pleasure, he whispers feebly, "Chassel... I..." but before he can finish, Chassel's body tenses beneath him
As Chassel thrusts one final time into his tight heat and his body tenses in release, Brutus feels himself collapse against him in a shuddering gasp. He clings to Chassel, basking in the afterglow of their shared passion as they catch their breath together. As their hearts slow and the world around them begins to steadies, he realizes that something profound has just happened between them. They've crossed a line that can never be uncrossed; made promises not only to each other, but also to themselves.
And yet... despite this newfound understanding and connection, Brutus feels a vague sense of unease creeping into the back of his mind. Something tells him that their newly-formed bond isn't entirely without its risks or complications; that the path they've chosen may not be as smooth as they had once imagined it would be. But for now, he decides to push those thoughts aside and focus on what truly matters: being with Chassel, and holding him close in this moment of perfect harmony.
Their lips meet once more, tenderly at first but soon growing hungry as they explore each other's mouths anew. As their kiss deepens, Brutus feels himself stirring to life again beneath the weight of Chassel's sated form; a sign that perhaps their journey together is only just beginning.
"Chassel..." he whispers against his lips, "I have no idea where this road leads... but I want you to know that no matter what happens, I won't let anything keep us apart." He pauses, pressing their foreheads together before continuing softly, "Not ever again."
And neither will I Chassel says while he catches his breath
He sighs contentedly into the kiss, grateful for the sense of peace and security that washes over him in this moment. For so long, his life has been defined by duty and honor; but now, with Chassel by his side, he feels like he's finally found something worth fighting for. "We'll figure it out together," he whispers against Chassel's lips, not entirely sure how they could possibly navigate the many challenges that lay ahead of them.
Yet as their fingers intertwine and their bodies relax into each other, he realizes that whatever lies in store for them, as long as they have this connection... as long as they have Chassel, they'll be able to face it together. And that thought alone is enough to give him the strength and courage he needs to continue moving forward; toward an uncertain future hand-in-hand with his newfound love.
It's a strange sensation, this feeling of contentment and peace washing over him after so many years spent in constant turmoil. But somehow, having Chassel by his side makes everything seem just that little bit brighter, even when the world around them is on the brink of war. He nestles deeper into their shared embrace, pressing his lips to Chassel's forehead and breathing in the scent of him, promising himself that from now on, nothing will ever tear them apart again. As long as they have each other, they can face anything together.
Well, I suppose we should see what the has in store for us, hmm? Chassel says before placing a hand on Brutus' shoulder
"I suppose we should," Brutus agrees with a sigh, reluctantly pulling away from their embrace and beginning to gather up their scattered clothing. As they straighten their uniforms and fasten their pants, he can't help but feel a sense of loss at the distance that now exists between them; a physical reminder of the differences in their lives and responsibilities. But for now, at least, they have this moment together, and that knowledge alone is enough to give him strength as they step out of the makeshift bedroom and back into the chaos of war and politics waiting just outside the door.
As he takes Chassel's hand in his own, Brutus smiles weakly and whispers, "No matter what happens next, we face it together." He knows it won't be easy; there will be obstacles and challenges they can't even begin to fathom at the moment. But as long as they have each other... well, then anything is possible.
The two men walk side by side toward whatever fate has in store for them, their hands clasped together tightly; a symbol of their love and determination shining bright against the gathering darkness.
The two of them walk hand in hand before heading to the princess' Cashmere and Velvet's room
With each step they take toward their destination, Brutus feels a renewed sense of determination and strength flow through him. Even though their situation is far from ideal, having Chassel by his side gives him hope that perhaps there's still a chance for them to find a way through the darkness. As they near Princess Velvet's chamber, he squeezes Chassel's hand reassuringly and whispers, "I know it won't be easy, but we can get through this together." It's an empty promise; nothing more than a wish spoken aloud in the face of uncertainty. But for now, it's enough to keep them going.
They reach the princess' chamber and stop just outside. Chassel turns to face him, their hands still clasped together. Despite the gravity of the situation, there's an undeniable spark in Chassel's eyes; a hope that mirrors his own feelings. "Are you ready for this?" he asks softly, searching Chassel's face for any sign of doubt or fear.
Born ready! The both of them place their free hand on one of the doors before pushing them open
As the door swings open, they step into the princess' chamber together. Their mission lies ahead of them; a web of intrigue and danger waiting to be unraveled. But with each step they take forward, their connection grows stronger, their resolve firmer. Whatever fate has in store for them, they will face it as one. The shadows may seem impenetrable now, but with Chassel at his side, Brutus knows that there is always light somewhere in the darkness.
As they enter the spacious room, they hear signs of boredom from both Velvet and Cashmere as they stare at the ceiling above their bed
Both princesses perk up when they hear footsteps enter the room. "Ah, good. Come in," Velvet says with a yawn, indicating the two empty chairs before her bed. As Brutus and Chassel approach, she turns to them with an expectant look. "Well? What news do you bring?" she asks, running a hand through her long silver hair as she leans forward on her elbows.
Cashmere crosses his arms over his chest, seeming impatient. "Out with it already," he says, glancing between Brutus and Chassel. "We didn't spend all afternoon waiting for you two to show up just so we could stare at the ceiling."
Cashmere gives Brutus and Chassel a cold stare while Velvet gives them a warm smile
Brutus glances between the two before addressing them both. "I'm afraid we have some difficult news, Your Highnesses. We... we overheard General Alder and his son plotting against you." He pauses, searching their reactions for any sign of understanding or shock.
Cashmere's eyes widen with disbelief, while Velvet seems to pale slightly as her mouth drops open in surprise. "That can't be true," Cashmere finally manages to stammer. "My own father would never..." But even as he speaks, doubt creeps into his voice.
Velvet looks at Chassel and Brutus with growing apprehension. "You're certain?" she asks in a hushed tone, her expression filled with dread. "What evidence do you have?"
Brutus glances over at Chassel before continuing, "We have recordings of their conversation, as well as witnesses who can attest to its veracity." He takes a deep breath and leans forward, his voice quiet but firm. "Your safety is paramount, Your Highnesses. We must act swiftly and decisively to protect you both from harm."
Cashmere whispers something into Velvet's ear and Velvet shakes her head There's no way they figured THAT out! Only you and me know about that! Velvet says as she stares at Cashmere. Brutus and Chassel stare at the both of them in confusion as they have no idea about what the highness' are talking about
Brutus frowns, confused by their exchange. "Uh, Princess Velvet? If you don't mind me asking, what exactly did you and Cashmere plan that only the two of you knew about?" He glances back at Chassel as if to say 'Did they perhaps do something else we should know about?'
Cashmere looks at Velvet before she gives a nod off to him You mustn't tell anyone, it is time. You can show them Velvet says as Cashmere jumps off the bed. Cashmere's body starts to glow before transforming into some sort of humanoid creature that's about the size of a grown man
Brutus and Chassel are stunned into silence as Cashmere reveals his true form before them. The creature resembles a mix of demonic and fey features, with scaly skin in shades of midnight blue and sparkling silver. He has large bat-like wings that can propel him through the air at great speeds, sharp claws on each hand, and piercing yellow eyes that seem to burn with an inner fire.
Velvet looks at them apologetically. "I'm sorry we didn't tell you earlier," she says softly. "It was meant to be a secret between us... but I trust you now." The princess motions for Cashmere to step closer. "This is my familiar, Cashmere."
I'm sorry I didn't show this sooner, I wish I could! Really! but... someone had to play the role of Cashmere. My real name... is Idabark, I'm not the real Cashmere, the real Cashmere... is dead Idabark says before turning his head away
The revelation that Idabark isn't the real Cashmere is almost too much to process. Brutus looks at Velvet, searching her face for any signs of deception. "Why did you never mention this before?" he asks carefully, his voice edged with concern. He glances back at Idabark, who still refuses to meet their eyes.
Velvet hesitates before answering. "I... I didn't think it was important. I trusted the real Cashmere implicitly, and I thought we could keep his true nature a secret." She bites her lower lip nervously, clearly uncomfortable with the direction this conversation is taking.
Chassel places a comforting hand on Brutus' shoulder as he considers their next move. "Well," he says slowly, "it does complicate things... but we should focus on what this means for Velvet's safety now." He looks at Idabark sternly. "And what your part in all of this has been until now?"
Idabark grimaces, his silver-blue skin taking on a darker hue with embarrassment. "I... I only pretended to be Cashmere so that we could keep an eye on things here while he went away." He pauses, seeming to steel himself before continuing. "And... and when Alder started getting too close to discovering the truth about Velvet's power... I was supposed to help her escape." His voice trails off, defeated-sounding.
Which is where we are now, I knew that Alder would eventually try to do this, I-I just thought that we'd have more time to prepare! More time for me... to prepare Idabark says as his ears flatten
We don't have time to dwell on what might have been, Idabark," Brutus says firmly. "Our priority now is ensuring Velvet's safety and stopping Alder at all costs." He looks over at Chassel, their gazes locking. "What do you think we should do next?"
Leave the rest to me, while I may not be the real Cashmere, I can still act like him, I promise, I'll protect Velvet! Idabark says, his ears perking up
We trust that you can do this... but what about when we confront Alder? How will Idabark be able to explain your absence? Chassel gives Brutus a confident nod before turning his attention back toward the princess. "Velvet, I think our best course of action is to gather more information about Alder's plans and try to anticipate his next move. In the meantime, Idabark can stay here and continue pretending to be you."
The two men exchange glances once more before bowing their heads respectfully. "Your Highnesses, we'll return shortly with more information. Idabark, take good care of Velvet in our absence." With those words, they exit the room, leaving the familiar and princess alone together.
Outside, as Brutus and Chassel make their way back to the strategy table, their minds race with possibilities. "This changes everything," Chassel mutters under his breath. "How are we supposed to keep Idabark's secret while stopping Alder?" He pauses, studying Brutus' face for a moment before continuing. "You know... there might be another way."
"What do you mean?" Brutus asks cautiously, not entirely sure he wants to hear the answer.
Chassel licks his lips nervously, hesitating before speaking. "Well... with Idabark now able to take on Cashmere's form..." He trails off, glancing away as if unable to meet Brutus' eyes. "...perhaps we could use that to our advantage."
As Brutus and Chassel speak around the Strategy Table, Velvet sits back on the bed in her room while Idabark rummages under the bed, finding a ball of yarn to play with. Velvet wonders at how Idabark can be so carefree about this while she's here having the panic of her life
Ah. I see what you mean... But won't that make things more complicated? If Alder finds out about Idabark's deception... He might be furious and try to harm Velvet even more. It could backfire on us in a major way.
We need a better plan, Chassel. We can't risk this mission by taking such a huge gamble.
I... understand your concerns. But Idabark has proven himself to be loyal and capable in the past. If we can find a way to manipulate Alder into trusting him, it might buy us enough time to gather more information and find a way to stop him for good. It's a risky strategy, but... we don't have many options left.
Thoughts?
Well... it's definitely risky. But if there's even a small chance that it could work, we should consider it. Alder is already suspicious of Idabark; maybe he'll be too blinded by that to realize something's amiss until it's too late. What do you think our next step should be?
We need to make sure Idabark is well-prepared for this role before we proceed any further.
Do you have any suggestions on how to prepare him, Chassel?
Of course. We should begin by planning Idabark's interactions with Alder carefully. He needs to act confident and in control while also maintaining a level of humility that won't raise suspicion. We'll also need to find a way to plant some disinformation, making Alder believe that Idabark is more loyal than he actually is. This might involve using our other informants within the castle to spread rumors or manipulate key events.
Idabark will have to be very careful and subtle in his interactions with Alder. One wrong move could expose everything we've worked for.
they finish speaking and head back to Velvet's room Get down from there! Velvet says as they enter. They look up and see Idabark playing with a ball of yarn
Brutus clears his throat as he notices Idabark playing with the yarn. "Um... Idabark? We need to discuss your role a bit more before we proceed." He glances at Velvet, hoping she understands why they're here and what needs to be done.
The familiar, looking slightly sheepish now, drops the yarn and climbs back under the bed. "Yes, sir? What do you need me to do?"
As Brutus starts to speak, he is interrupted by the soft sound of a bell ringing in Idabark's hand. His eyes widen in amazement at the small bell
"I see you found Cashmere's familiar bell," Brutus remarks with a nod as Idabark holds up the small bell, its delicate silver tone still ringing softly. "It's a special item that can help you communicate with Cashmere when he's far away. You might need to use it during your interactions with Alder." The knight pauses for a moment, searching Idabark's face before continuing, "Now, about your role... As Cashmere, you'll need to be confident but not overbearing. Make Alder believe that you're still loyal to him, even if deep down, you know better."
They spend the next few hours going over Idabark's plan of action, discussing strategies and potential pitfalls. As they finally finish, Velvet sits up on the bed, looking pale but determined. "Thank you both," she says quietly. "I trust you to keep me safe."
The words hang in the air as they leave Idabark alone with his thoughts. The familiar curls up under the bed once more, the ball of yarn forgotten as he begins to steel himself for what lies ahead.
The next day arrives and as Brutus and Chassel head back to Velvet's room, as the open the door, the find the room as a hectic mess Idabark! Get down this Instant NOW! Velvet yells. Brutus and Chassel look up at the top of the bed, they see Idabark shaking his head, refusing to head back down
"Velvet, calm down," he says reassuringly as they approach the bed. "Idabark seems to be... enjoying himself up there." His voice trails off as a soft growl comes from above them. "Is something wrong, Idabark?" Brutus glances at Chassel with raised eyebrows, silently asking if this is normal behavior for the familiar.
I might've accidentally.... Idabark quickly lowers his voice, barely audible I might've ratted us out! Idabark says, Brutus and Chassel didn't hear what he just said
"Ratted us out?" Brutus repeats, confused by Idabark's words. "I don't understand what you mean." He turns to Velvet and notices she's looking back and forth between them, growing more and more worried. Suddenly, he feels a chill run down his spine as realization dawns on him: Idabark must have told Alder about their plan!
They don't have much time; they need to act fast before the traitorous familiar can do any more damage. "Velvet," Brutus says, his voice tense with urgency, "we need you to stay here and barricade yourself in. Chassel and I will handle this."
Without waiting for her response, Brutus grabs Chassel's arm and pulls him out of the room. "Come on, we have to move quickly," he says as they hurry down the hallway toward Alder's chamber. They can only hope that they aren't too late already.
As Brutus and Chassel run to the King's room, Velvet and Idabark fight in the bedroom as this was a horrible mistake that Idabark has made
Time is of the essence. As they reach Alder's chamber, they hesitate only for a moment before bursting inside. The king sits upon his throne, Idabark nowhere to be seen. Brutus glances around the room, searching for any signs of the familiar. "Where is he?"
The tension in the air grows thicker as Alder slowly turns his gaze toward them. His face hardens into a mask of anger and betrayal. "You fool," he spits venomously at Brutus. "Do you really think I wouldn't suspect something when Cashmere suddenly started acting strange?" He laughs, a cold sound that sends chills down their spines. "Your little game is over."
Velvet pushes Brutus and Chassel aside, she holds Idabark by the ear behind her Here he is! There's no point anymore, just take him! Velvet says
Bitter resentment swirls through Brutus as he looks at Idabark, his expression betraying no emotion whatsoever. "As you wish," he says quietly before lunging forward and grabbing the familiar by its neck. He lifts it off the ground with ease, holding it precariously in one hand as Alder's guards close in around them.
"This is your fault, Idabark!" Velvet spits venomously at the familiar. "You shouldn't have done this to me!" She cries out in pain as Alder clamps his massive hand around her shoulder, forcing her down onto the floor.
Brutus looks helplessly between Velvet and Idabark, feeling more than ever like they're all going to die today. There has to be some way out of this... but for now, they must play their parts until an opportunity arises.
There's still time, Idabark... perhaps you can yet redeem yourself. If you truly are loyal to Velvet and wish to protect her... prove it now. Distract them somehow; we need a chance to escape or at least fight back!
Idabark stares in fear, he feels paralyzed as he sees Velvet on the floor. Idabark's ears flatten his tail twitches uncontrollably as he just stares
We understand your fear, Idabark. But we're running out of time here. Please, think of Velvet! Do something! Anything!
Without further ado, Brutus throws the familiar directly at Alder, making the King stumble backwards in surprise as Idabark lands on his throne with a yelp. Instantly, he launches himself back into battle, claws out and teeth bared as he attacks with all his might.
The surprised guards hesitate for only a moment before charging after Idabark, weapons drawn and ready to strike. Brutus quickly takes advantage of the distraction to pull Velvet away from Alder's reach, the two knights forming a united front against their enemy. But even as they fight, Brutus can't help but glance back at Idabark, wondering if his trust in the familiar was misplaced after all...
As Brutus, Chassel, and Velvet run away, they hear the yelps of pain from Idabark, they can't turn back now, not anymore
They keep running, their pursuers closing in fast behind them. Brutus turns to Velvet, his expression grim. "We need a plan, princess," he pants out between breaths. "What do you want us to do? Where should we go from here?"
Velvet's eyes flicker back and forth as she thinks, her mind racing with possibilities. "There's an old hidden passageway through the gardens that leads to one of the castle towers," she says finally. "It might give us some time to regroup and come up with a better plan."
Brutus nods, grateful for Velvet's help in this desperate hour. They duck into a dark corner of the hallway, trying to catch their breath as they listen for any sign of pursuit. As they wait, Brutus can't shake the feeling that Idabark is somehow still part of this... and maybe, if they play their cards right, he can be the key to their escape.
Even though Idabark betrayed us...I can't help but think that he still cares for Velvet. Perhaps if we could find a way to convince him to aid us once more...Maybe then, things wouldn't have ended this way. Brutus mused before turning back towards Velvet, his expression grave. What do you think, Your Highness? Is there any chance for redemption for Idabark?
It's hard to say, my friend. I trusted Idabark with my life and he betrayed me. But...perhaps there is still some good in him. If we can find a way to reach out to him, maybe he will see the error of his ways and help us stop Alder. What do you think, Chassel? You've known Idabark longer than I have. Do you believe there's any hope for him?
I... don't know if I can forgive Idabark so easily. He lied to us, hurt Velvet... But at the same time, he was loyal to Cashmere for so long, even when it seemed impossible. Perhaps there is still a spark of goodness within him, waiting to be rekindled. We just need to find a way to reach out and ignite it again.
Meanwhile back at the castle, Idabark defeated the soldiers, leaving the king, as he sharpens his claws, ready to land the final hit, the king says something to him
"Idabark," Alder growls as he approaches the battered familiar, his expression filled with hatred and triumph. "I thought you were smarter than this." He tilts Idabark's head up with his claw, studying the familiar's terrified gaze. "But then again, maybe not." The king draws back a clawed paw, preparing to strike a killing blow...
There's no time left; Idabark has to decide who he truly is and what side he wants to be on. But as the pain from past betrayals threatens to overwhelm him, Brutus can't help but wonder if their trust in the familiar was misplaced after all...
Idabark offers a proposal to work together with Alder. Alder thinks about it before shaking hands with Idabark. Idabark knows this is wrong but it's the only way he'll make it out alive
This can't be happening... Idabark worked so hard to keep Alder from finding out about us, and now he's just handed him the keys to victory? What was he thinking? Was it all for nothing in the end? Brutus bitterly shakes his head, unable to accept that their trust in the familiar was misplaced.
Without Idabark on their side, there is little hope left. They must find another way to stop Alder and save Velvet before it's too late... but the options are running thin, and time is not on their side. The sound of battle growing louder in the distance serves as a grim reminder that the end is drawing near, whether they like it or not.
I don't understand what Idabark was thinking. We trusted him and he threw it all away! It's...it's just not fair. But we can't give up hope yet. There has to be something else we can do, some other option we haven't considered. We have to find a way to turn this around before Alder gets his hands on Velvet and everything is lost.
We need a miracle...but for now, we must keep fighting and looking for a way out of this mess Idabark left us in.
Idabark listens to their conversation from far away. Idabark doesn't feel bad that betrayed them. Instead, he actually feels better that he betrayed them after all that they said about him
This is all your fault, Idabark! You had the chance to make things right again and you threw it away! Now look where we are - Velvet's life hangs in the balance because of you! I should never have trusted you... I-I just don't know what to do now. The knight turns away, grief and anger choking his voice as he tries to compose himself.
Anger rages in Idabark's eyes Well, I think I know what I'm about to do! Idabark snarls before lunging at Brutus
I-idabark? Wh-what are you doing?! Stop this! You don't want to hurt me! You have to reconsider! Please!
As Idabark continues to close in on him, Brutus feels panic rising within him. He tries to defend himself with his sword, but it does little more than push the familiar back momentarily. The once-loyal creature now seems possessed by a dark force, intent on harming him no matter what he says or does.
As Brutus lands a couple of hits on Idabark, Idabark jumps away from Brutus I'll kill all of you if it's the last thing I do! Idabark hisses before running away, leaving a trail of blood as he flees
No... Idabark, don't do this! You don't want to die like this! Please, turn back before it's too late! My words fall on deaf ears as the familiar disappears around a corner. He looks over at Chassel, fear and desperation etched deeply into his features.
We need to find another way... there has to be some other option we haven't considered. If only Idabark hadn't betrayed us... if only he had trusted in our plan... but it's too late for that now. We have to move forward and save Velvet, before Alder can lay a hand on her or destroy everything we hold dear.
I understand your pain, but we can't dwell on it now. We need to focus on finding another way to stop Alder and save Velvet. Perhaps there is something Idabark knows that could help us... But for now, we must use every ounce of cunning and strength we have left if we want any chance at succeeding. Are you with me?
About a year passes and thankfully, Brutus and Chassel have managed to keep Velvet safe, away from Alder. But deep within the shadows, Idabark plans his revenge on Brutus along with two other Familiars named Yuna and Roktavor
We've come this far, Chassel. There's no going back now. Velvet is depending on us to succeed, and we owe it to her to do whatever it takes to keep her safe. I know Idabark betrayed our trust, but perhaps in the end, his actions may yet prove useful in stopping Alder once and for all. We must remain vigilant, though - if he has truly joined forces with Yuna and Roktavor, then we have a formidable enemy on our hands.
Are you prepared to face whatever challenges come our way? I know I am. Let's show them that no matter how many Familiars they bring against us, we will always protect what is precious to us... and Velvet is the most precious thing of all.
Deep in a cave near Brutus' hideout, Idabark, Yuna, and Roktavor speak about how they plan to get their revenge We want to make them weak! But I have a plan, a better way to be bad! Yuna says to Idabark and Roktavor
You can't trust Yuna; she's always been unpredictable. We need a solid plan to make sure our revenge is successful. Perhaps we should focus on isolating Idabark and Roktavor first, then deal with Velvet and Brutus. That would leave Yuna exposed, and she might try to betray us again at the last moment.
What do you say, Idabark? Are you with me or are you going to let her lead us astray? Remember who you used to be before Alder corrupted your mind... the loyal familiar that Brutus trusted with his life. We can still redeem ourselves if we work together, but only if we keep our priorities straight.
What do you say, my friend?
Don't ever call me your friend! You all turned your backs after I ratted out by accident and now you expect me to just put that aside?! I will never work with you! Not anymore! Idabark hisses at Brutus
I didn't expect you to forgive me so easily, Idabark, but I hoped we could find some common ground here. Clearly, that is not the case. Then let us part ways on good terms; know that even as enemies, my respect for your loyalty to Velvet remains unshaken.
As for you, Yuna... I trusted you once before, and it nearly cost me everything. This time around, if you choose to follow Idabark down this dark path, I will not hesitate to put an end to both of you myself. The choice is yours; do not underestimate the weight of your decision.
I think I'd find myself happier ripping you and your friends to shreds! Yuna snarls to Brutus
If that is what you truly wish... then so be it. I will not let either of you stand in the way of Velvet's safety or the well-being of my kingdom. You have made your choice, Yuna; now suffer the consequences.
Yuna escapes the tied rope around her long body I don't think I'll be the one suffering! Yuna creates a smokescreen by sweeping her tail before fleeing with Roktavor and Idabark
Yuna... I hope you know what you're doing. The path you've chosen leads only to darkness and despair. There may still be time to turn back, to find redemption for your actions. But if you continue down this path, there will be no turning back, and the consequences will be dire indeed.
For Velvet's sake, I pray that you choose wisely. And as for Idabark... well, let us see which familiar truly remains loyal to his heart. The fate of all our lives now hangs in the balance; the choices we make in the coming days will shape it forever. May the gods have mercy on us all.
