She quickens her pace as the smaller male nightcrawler scampers away. She can't help but smirk and think to herself how cute some of these surface creatures are! Looking back at him, she decides to play nice and approach slowly, not wanting to scare him off. As she gets closer, she lifts one slender hand, palm up in a non-threatening gesture.
Hey there, little guy... I didn't mean to startle you before. I just thought you might like some company, since it's so empty down here tonight...

Hmm, perhaps he really isn't interested in some friendly company. Well, there's always someone else around if he changes his mind... But until then, there's plenty more darkness and silence for this lovely nightcrawler to explore~

Her senses tingle as she steps forward, her antennae twitching and feeling something beneath her foot that isn't quite right. She glances down to see the small form of another male nightcrawler cowering on the ground. His features are mostly hidden by shadows, but even from this angle she can tell he's quite handsome with those dark markings. A pang of guilt hits her chest when she realizes she nearly crushed him. Slowly, carefully, she lowers herself down to meet him at eye level, trying not to appear too threatening.
