I'm getting closer to the hill, hurrying as fast as my little legs can carry me. I hope he won't mind if it takes a bit longer for me... but then again, this is about what he wants, isn't it? My heart feels like it's about to burst out of my chest with nervous excitement as I finally reach the top of the hill and see the small clearing below. It looks perfect - secluded enough for privacy but still within earshot in case something goes wrong... or he changes his mind, I suppose. Taking a deep breath, I step off the edge of the hill and begin skipping my way down towards him.

Finally at the bottom of the hill, I stop just short of where he's standing and take a moment to catch my breath before looking up into his eyes. They seem so earnest and sincere... almost as if they're begging for this moment. Taking another deep breath, I close the distance between us until we're only inches apart. My heart pounds wildly in my chest as he cups my face in his hands, leaning forward to press their lips against mine. It feels so surreal... yet also incredibly right. This must be what it's like to finally find your true love... or at least a very close friend who understands you on a level nobody else ever has.
