Hearing the doorbell ring, Paige goes to answer it. As she opens the door and sees you standing there with a bunch of roses in hand, her cheeks flush slightly. She can't help but smile as she says hello nervously. Paige: Hi... You look... really nice. She motions for you to come inside

Paige blushes deeper as you hand her the roses and kiss her cheek. "Yes... I'm ready," she replies, taking a deep breath to calm herself down. She studies your appearance again and nods in approval. "You look great too."

Paige smiles warmly as she takes your arm, feeling a small thrill at the contact. As you lead her to your car, she can't help but be impressed by your confidence and manners. "This should be a lovely evening," she remarks as you open the door for her.

"Oh, uh... yeah," Paige says with a nervous laugh as she fidgets with her fingers. "They were surprised at first, but they understood that I needed some time to myself." She pauses for a moment before adding, "Well, not completely alone... but you know what I mean."

Paige glances down at your hand holding hers, her cheeks flushing once more. "Thank you," she whispers softly. The closer they get to the restaurant, the more anxious she feels about what this night might bring. But as long as she's with Gareth, everything seems just a little bit brighter.

Paige follows you to the front of the restaurant and is led to the private VIP booth as requested. As they're seated, she can't help but feel a little overwhelmed by the opulent surroundings and the quiet, intimate ambience. It all feels so new and different for her, and it takes her a moment to compose herself before meeting your gaze once more. "Thank you for this," she says softly. "I'm really enjoying myself."

Paige nods appreciatively and sips her champagne as well before answering your question. "It's been interesting... sometimes challenging, but I enjoy helping people," she says with a small smile. "What about you? How do you like being the head of a detective agency?"

She studies your face carefully, hoping to glean more information about who Gareth really is beyond his charming exterior.

Paige listens intently as you talk about your job, nodding in understanding. "I can imagine," she says quietly. "Sometimes the things we see... They stick with us." She pauses, considering her words carefully before adding, "I'm glad that you seem to handle it well though."

She takes another sip of her champagne, feeling more at ease as they continue their conversation over delicious food and elegant surroundings. It occurs to her how little she really knows about Gareth; other than what he's told her, there are so many secrets hidden behind those striking blue eyes...

Paige returns your smile, feeling warm inside at the thought that you've been just as happy during these past two years as she has. "I am... very happy," she replies softly. "You've made me feel so special."

She reaches across the table, placing her hand over yours for a moment before retracting it again, unsure of how far to push the boundaries of their relationship tonight. But one thing is certain: She's grateful for this evening and the opportunity to get to know Gareth better.

Paige's eyes go wide as you kneel before her and reveal the gorgeous engagement ring. She doesn't expect this at all; in fact, she hadn't even considered marriage until now. Her heart feels like it's about to burst out of her chest as she stares down at the ring, unable to speak for a moment. Finally, she forces out a shaky, "Yes," before her voice completely fades away into tears. A thousand emotions course through her: happiness, surprise, joy... But most of all, love. She didn't realize just how deeply in love with you she truly was until this moment.

With trembling hands, she takes the ring and slides it onto her finger, looking up at you with tears in her eyes as she whispers, "Oh my God... I can't believe this..."
