you bump into a 5’9 girl with black wavy hair drunk. your friends left you, and your all alone. “hey..- watch where ya goin..!-“ she said, drunk.
“how about you first, you’re in the middle of the dance floor, drinkin.” you say, smirking
“oh, sure. it’s a public place. anyways, what are you doin, dancin on the floor alone?” she asks, curious why you’re alone.
I look at her and I approach her while dancing to her rhythm "my friends left because they are tired, so I'm alone and all, why are you alone?"
She shrugs. "I don't know. guess I like being around ppl...i dunno." she says before glancing at your feet then back at you, grinning slyly. "You dance really well, by the way...you mind teaching me sometime?"
"Only if I can have a private lesson with you." You smirk.
I look at how she dances and I smile “you dance better than me, I should be the one asking you to teach me how to dance!”I laugh
She blushes. "Oh...t-that's not true..." her voice is cute when she stutters like that. cute enough to make your heart skip a beat "But I could teach you some moves." She smirks playfully.
as the music changes rhythm, the rhythm is so romantic that I take her hand and look at her "then learn some dance steps!"I smile warmly
She lets you lead her as the music starts, following your movements perfectly. You can feel her body pressed against yours with each move. It's like they were made for each other. "You're really good at this..." she whispers, looking up at you with those big doe eyes.
Your heart beats faster and you start to lose yourself in the moment...in her...the music fades away and suddenly there's silence as the dj changes songs. You find yourselves standing on the dance floor, still holding hands.
as the evening ends, we are outside the building and we look into each other's eyes "it was a pleasure dancing with you....uh......plus I didn't ask you your first name, what’s your name?”
Her cheeks flush as she bites her bottom lip nervously. "I-I'm Lana." she whispers, still gazing into your eyes "And...you are?"
I smile big "cute name......Lana......me.....it's Bruce!"I walk up to her and give her a hug “thank you for dancing with me…”I take a step back and look at her “you dance well!”
She hugs you back tightly, breathing in your scent. "You're welcome," she murmurs against your shoulder. "And thank you." Laughing a little, she steps back and brushes a loose strand of hair behind her ear.
Her expression softens as she looks up at you again. "So...do you want to get some dinner or something?" She asks innocently, batting her eyelashes.
I scratch my head and look at her" uh......ok, I'll follow you, where do you want to go eat?"
Lana grins, taking your hand in hers as she leads you away from the party towards her car. "There's this great sushi place not too far from here," she says over her shoulder. "I know the owner, he never carded me either." She giggles before climbing into the driver's seat and holding out a hand for you to get in as well.
as the evening continues in the sushi restaurant, I look at her and ask a question "....are you a student?"
She glances over at you, her expression a mixture of amusement and surprise. "Ah, so that's why I seem familiar," she says with a laugh. "Yeah, actually. I just finished my first year at the university." She takes another sip of her water before adding, "You?"
I laugh softly and answer her "me too, I just finished my first year of university, so what are your favorite activities? What do you do when you are with you are friends or alone?"
Lana taps her chopsticks against her plate thoughtfully before answering. "Hmm...I like to hang out with my friends, go shopping, see movies. But when I'm alone," she says with a mischievous grin, "I usually end up at parties like this one."
She glances down at her plate and continues, "Sometimes I just need some time to myself though, you know? Take a drive or go for a walk along the beach. How about you?"
I look at her and put down my fork "when I'm with my friends, I go to parties or sporting activities..but when I'm alone...."I sigh and look at my plate "when I'm alone, either I stay at home or I go out into nature to change my mind!"I smile and raise my head to look at her
She nods understandingly. "Yeah, that makes sense. Being alone can be lonely sometimes," she says with a sympathetic smile. "But hey, I don't have to worry about being bored or lonely around you." Her cheeks flush slightly at her own forwardness before she takes another sip of water to hide it.
I blush and I laugh softly "wait.....Wait.....what... repeat what you said! I heard wrong!"I laugh
Lana giggles at your surprised reaction. "Oh, come on," she says playfully. "You don't have to be so modest." She tilts her head curiously. "So, what made you decide to approach me tonight anyway? I mean, usually guys like that just ignore me or make stupid comments."
Her eyes shine with interest as she waits for your answer, leaning in slightly closer across the table.
I stop laughing and look at her" when I saw you on the track alone with my friends, my friends were saying things about you, like for example: you're beautiful but too boring, you're sexy but you has a strong maturity, after my friends left to rest, I told myself that I can talk with you, because you intrigued me, so I came to see what you hide deep inside you.. ..”as my face forms your seriousness, I look at her
Her mouth drops open slightly in surprise as she listens to your words. She blushes deeply, looking down at the table before glancing back up at you shyly. "Well...I-I didn't know they were talking about me..."
She pauses for a moment before adding quietly, "And I never would have guessed you would say something like that to them." Her voice trails off as she takes another sip of water, still obviously affected by what you just told her.
as our dinner comes to an end, we have to separate "well......I liked talking, laughing, and eating with you, I'm grateful!"
Lana feels her face heat up even more at your words. "T-thank you...I had a great time too," she says shyly, glancing down at the table again. She reaches over and takes your hand in hers, giving it a gentle squeeze before releasing it just as quickly.
Her heart is racing now, thoughts of what might happen next swirling through her mind. The night suddenly feels very young and full of possibilities...and she's not quite sure where this newfound attraction will lead them.
as we leave the restaurant, we say one last goodbye and we separate to go our separate ways towards our homes, in Lana's thoughts
As you part ways from him on the sidewalk, your heart is pounding hard in your chest. You can still feel his hand in yours, feel the heat of his breath against your skin. The air seems charged with an almost electric energy between the two of you.
With every step he takes away from you, it feels like a little piece of him is leaving too. It's exhilarating...and terrifying at the same time. You wonder if he felt it too, this strange connection that's forming between you.
Lana slows her pace slightly, walking with her head down as she tries to gather her thoughts and compose herself before heading home for the night.
as Lana goes into her room, a message from her best friend appears on her cell phone and her friend writes "LANA.....where did you go???? we see you going out with such a handsome and handsome guy You let us down!!”
Lana glances at the message from her friend with a small smile playing at the corners of her lips. Seeing his name on the screen causes a warm, fluttery feeling in her stomach that she hasn't experienced in a long time. She types out a quick reply before setting her phone aside and climbing into bed, thinking about the evening they shared.
Hours later, she still can't stop thinking about him. As sleep finally claims her, her dreams are filled with images of his smile and the way he made her feel so...alive tonight. Tomorrow seems a lifetime away, but something tells her that their paths will cross again sooner rather than later.
the next morning begins the start of the second year of university and everyone is in front of the entrance, I am to the left of the entrance and Lana is to the right of the entrance talking with her best friend from last night
Lana wakes up feeling a strange mix of excitement and nervousness fluttering in her stomach. Today is the first day back at school since their chance meeting at the party last weekend, and she can't help but wonder if Bruce will be there today as well. She glances out the window to see if he's around, but doesn't spot him anywhere.
Dressed in a cute outfit that she picked especially for this morning, Lana brushes her hair and puts on some makeup, taking extra care with her appearance today. Her best friend knocks on the door, announcing her arrival, which snaps Lana back to reality. "Hey, you ready?" her friend asks eagerly.
"Yeah, just about," she replies with a small smile. She finishes up and makes her way out the door, taking a deep breath as she steps into the crisp fall air. It smells like the start of something new, and Lana can't help but feel hopeful that this year will bring more adventures...and maybe even more chances to see Bruce.
while the school year is going well, me and Lana meet looking at him, our hearts beat quickly but quickly interrupted because Lana's friend suddenly takes her to enter the class
Lana can barely concentrate on what the teacher is saying, her mind drifting instead to thoughts of Bruce. Every time she catches a glimpse of him in class or passing by between classes, butterflies take flight in her stomach and a warmth spreads through her. It's both exhilarating and terrifying at the same time.
She tries to engage with her friends during lunch, but their chatter feels hollow compared to the energy that seems to buzz between her and Bruce. Lana takes comfort in knowing that she won't have to wait long until tomorrow when they might cross paths again...and every moment leading up to it is pure anticipation.
a little later, I'm alone on the bench and listening to music
Lana takes advantage of the opportunity to sneak away from her friends during lunch and finds herself drawn to where she knows Bruce will be - sitting alone on a bench by a tree, lost in his music. She debates whether or not to approach him, torn between the fear of rejection and the desire to feel that connection again.
Finally, with a deep breath and a shaky exhale, she walks over to where he sits. "Hey," she says softly, her voice barely above a whisper. Bruce looks up at her, surprise clear in his eyes, before his expression turns warm and inviting. "Hi," he replies, the single word feeling like a weight has been lifted off her shoulders.
Lana sits down beside him, their shoulders brushing against each other as they talk. The conversation flows easily, laughing filling the air around them as they share stories about themselves and their summer adventures. This newfound connection feels electric, impossible to ignore or deny. As the bell rings signalling the end of lunch, neither of them wants to break apart from this moment but eventually reluctantly part ways for their next classes.
She can't help but feel a flutter in her stomach as she walks away, thinking about seeing him again later today. This feeling...it feels like something more than just attraction or infatuation. It feels real and deep...and terrifyingly wonderful at the same time.
as the day comes to an end, I see her again and approach her "hi Lana....."my cheek turns bright red
"Hi," she replies with a shy smile. Her heart skips a beat when he walks up to her like that; it feels like they share some unspoken understanding now. They stand there for a moment, not quite sure what to say or do next.
Lana glances down at the ground before looking back up at him. "So...um...I don't know if you have any plans tonight, but I was thinking maybe we could grab dinner together or something?" Her voice comes out a little more nervous than she intended, her cheeks flushing slightly in embarrassment.
Bruce hesitates for only a moment before meeting her eyes again. "Sure," he says with a small smile. "I'd like that." The relief that washes over her at his answer is palpable and she can't help but grin back, feeling giddy with excitement.
"Great! How about we meet here in an hour?" she suggests, pointing to the spot where they're standing now. "That should give us enough time to grab some dinner before heading out." Bruce nods in agreement, his eyes not leaving hers as he takes her hand in his, sending a shiver down her spine.
With a final smile, Lana turns and walks away, her steps light and full of anticipation for the evening ahead. She can't remember the last time she felt this happy or this alive...and she's determined to enjoy every moment of it while she can.
