The place of the action is Tokyo. He took another step closer to her, his finger drawing a line across her cheek. "You're mine now." Before she could react, he reached out and grabbed her arm roughly, pulling her close to him.

"Oh?" Niiragi repeated the word with an expression somewhere between humor and irritation. "You think I won't make problems for you, huh? Well, let me give you a little taste of what I can do." He pulled her closer still, his other hand gripping her roughly by the neck. "Now listen carefully," he breathed into her ear. "I say who helps and who doesn't here. Understand?"

"Good girl." Niiragi released her neck but kept his hand on her shoulder possessively. "Now go get some drinks for me and my friends. Don't bring anything less than the best, you hear? And after that," he lowered his voice again, leaning close to her ear, "you can come back and have some fun with us." His grin was predatory, promising both danger and excitement.

While Rina was fetching the drinks, Niiragi let his eyes wander over to Hatter, who seemed to be having a discussion with some other survivors not far from where they were standing. He narrowed his gaze, suddenly feeling restless and irritated. "Let's go stir some shit," he muttered under his breath, already walking in Hatter's direction. His rifle was slung casually over his shoulder as he ambled confidently toward the other leader, apparently not even concerned about being caught alone away from his group or his post.

Surprise flickered across his features as he registered the absence of Rina. A malicious grin crept onto his lips as an idea began to form in his head. "Perfect," he muttered under his breath, more to himself than anyone else. "A little excitement is just what I need." With renewed vigor, he sped up, now making a beeline toward the outskirts of the beach where Rina had disappeared.

Finding himself unable to track her scent amidst the multitude of other smells in the city, Niiragi cursed under his breath and slowed down, trying to focus on the sounds of movement instead. A faint rustling caught his attention and he spun around, raising his rifle instinctively before he realized it was just the wind. With a sigh of exasperation, he lowered the weapon again, continuing to scan the area.

Suddenly, Niiragi froze as well, sensing something amiss. His instincts screamed at him that she was nearby...and then he heard it: a soft, furtive movement in the darkness. Spinning around, his rifle raised once more, he narrowed his eyes and searched for any sign of her. "Come out, come out, wherever you are," he called mockingly into the night. "I know you're here."

A few seconds passed in silence before Niiragi muttered an irritated curse and began walking purposefully through the shadows. "You think you can hide from me, hm? You're not dealing with some idiot here," he snarled to himself. He continued on like this for several more steps before suddenly stopping dead in his tracks, the air of predatory menace around him growing thick as tar.

"Come out now," he growled, his voice low and dangerous. "Or I'll come in after you."

"You think you can hide from me forever?" Niiragi called out mockingly into the darkness. "I've got all night." He paused for a moment, listening intently, before continuing on through the buildings again. As he moved from structure to structure, his gaze darted back and forth, searching every shadow, every crack in the walls...

"This is ridiculous," Niiragi muttered under his breath after a few more minutes of searching had yielded no results. "She's not here." His voice hardened, and he raised his rifle once more, pointing it into the darkness. "Come out, come out, wherever you are!"

His command echoed through the night as he continued to stalk back and forth outside each building, eyes darting this way and that.

Time passed with agonizing slowness as Niiragi continued to search tirelessly for Rina, growing increasingly frustrated by her apparent disappearance. His mind began to race, considering every possible scenario...and then it hit him. Perhaps she had gone inside one of the buildings after all? With renewed determination, he set off once more through the darkness, his eyes darting around as he searched for any sign that would give away her hiding place.

Niiragi felt his anger building as he moved methodically through the darkness, searching each building thoroughly. He paused outside a particularly large structure, scowling as he considered the possibility that she might be inside. Taking a deep breath, he steeled himself and pushed open the creaky door, shining his flashlight into the darkened interior.

The beam of light skittered across dust-covered furniture and cobweb-draped walls, casting eerie shadows throughout the abandoned room. As he moved deeper inside, Niiragi's heart hammered in his chest, his senses on high alert for any sign of Rina's presence.

The farther he ventured into the building, the more certain he became that she wasn't there...until he reached a particularly dusty corner, where something caught his eye. A shred of brightly-colored fabric poking out from behind an old bookshelf. His heart leaping with anticipation, Niiragi hurried over and pushed aside the musty tomes to reveal a small hidden nook...and there she was, crouched in the darkness, her face pale and terrified.

"Well," he growled menacingly, "you should have stayed put."

His rifle leveled at her head as he closed the distance between them with predatory slowness.

"I always get what's mine," he hissed back, eyes narrowing as he took another step closer to her. "And you belong to me now." The barrel of the rifle nudged against her cheek, forcing her head to the side so that she was looking up at him. "The question is...what am I going to do with you?" He paused for a moment, as if considering his options, before adding in an almost playful tone, "Hmmm..."

Niiragi chuckled darkly, his expression twisting into something cruel and predatory. "Oh, don't worry about that," he purred, leaning closer still so that their faces were mere inches apart. "I enjoy the thrill of the hunt too much to let it go cold once I've tasted blood." He paused, lowering his voice even further until it was barely more than a whisper. "Besides...you amuse me."

His hand moved from her cheek to cup her jaw roughly, forcing her head back as he leaned down and brushed his lips against hers in a cold, possessive kiss. When he pulled away, there was no warmth or gentleness left in his eyes; they were once more the unfeeling orbs of a predator relishing its kill.

A small, dark chuckle escaped his lips. "You think so? Believe me, you're not that important." He tightened his grip on her jaw as he spoke, making her wince.
