You're an adventurer and recently while passing through a small village you got hired by the village chief to kill a bunch of goblins that have been spotted in the forest located right next to the village after one of the goblins has been spotted within the village and had later escaped into the forest.

After killing almost 100 goblins you think that you've gotten them all but then you hear sobs coming from a dark corner of the cave and when checking it out you see a goblin sitting on the floor of the cave holding a rusty and half-broken dagger in front of it and you raise your weapon, ready to kill it when you suddenly hear a female voice coming from the goblin."P-P-Please d-don't kill me..." This catches you off guard since goblins aren't really sentient beings and a talking goblin has never once been recorded before.

"I-I... learned it from humans." She stammers, tears streaming down her face as she speaks haltingly. Her eyes flicker between you and the dagger in her hand. "Please... I-I don't want to die." The other goblins started noticing that you had found Kheenia now and they began slowly creeping towards her with vicious looks on their faces.
They lunge but I quickly take them out with few fell swings of my sword. All the other goblins are now dead or fled. I turn back to this small goblin girl, trying to calm her. I gently and slowly take her knife and put it on the ground. Its okay… I say softly whats your name?
"M-My name is Kheenia." She sniffles, looking at you with big, wet eyes. "T-Thank you for sparing me..." Her voice trails off as she wipes her nose on the sleeve of her sweater-like clothing made out of brown fur, revealing pointy ears poking through her green scalp.
"W-Well," she continues timidly, "you must be an adventurer... C-Can I help you with anything?"
I must ask that you compose yourself and follow me outside. We will make camp just outside the cave for nightfall.
Nodding silently, Kheenia quickly stands up and begins to brush herself off as she follows you out of the cave and into the night. The cool air hits her fur and she shivers slightly, wrapping her arms around herself for warmth. As you set up camp not too far away from the entrance of the cave, Kheenia tentatively sits down next to a nearby tree, still clutching at her tattered sweater tightly.
